Amy O. Scheller, is a physician assistant who has been at Silver Lake Clinic since April 1999. Prior to that, she spent five years in Emergency Medicine at Regions (St. Paul Ramsey) Hospital. Ms. Scheller received her PA degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Family Medicine. She recently achieved re-certification by the NCCPA and is registered with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. She is a member of both the AAPA and MAPA. Amy has been married since 1998. In December 2001, she and her husband became proud parents of their first son, Thomas. In her spare time, Amy enjoys jogging, golf, reading, bicycling, visiting family and friends, and playing with their little family dog, a shih-Tzu named Pipkin.

Amy Stella, MD, is a 1998 graduate of the Medical College of Wisconsin and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Following medical school, she continued her education at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics where she completed her internship and residency in internal medicine. Dr. Stella served as a chief resident which allowed her to spend time teaching residents and medical students. In 200, she completed her fellowship in medical oncology at the University of Wisconsin Comprehensive Cancer Center. She developed a special interest in treating patients with breast and gastrointestinal cancers.

M. Angelique Struyk, is a family physician with special interest in comprehensive patient care including obstetrics. Dr. Struyk received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota in 1995 and completed her residency at the University of Minnesota Department of Family Practice, North Memorial Hospital. Dr. Struyk is board-certified by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice, and is a member of the American Academy pf Family Physicians, American medical Association, and the Minnesota Medical Association. Her personal interests include camping, hiking, canoeing, running, tennis, swimming and biking as well as gourmet cooking, traveling and spending time with her husband, son and two yellow labs.

Astrid Garino, MD, is a graduate of the University of Turin, Turin, Italy. She completed her postdoctoral training in internal medicine at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Garino is board certified in medical oncology and internal medicine and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Her clinical interests include the treatment of breast cancer and lymphomas.

Courtney J. Goodwin, has practiced Family Medicine in the Northeast Minneapolis area for 28 years. He received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota in 1974 and completed his residency in Family Practice at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale in 1977. Dr. Goodwin is board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice and is a member of the Minnesota Medical Association, Hennepin County Medical Society, and American Board of Family Practice. Married with three children, he is active in Boy Scouts and enjoys outdoor activities.

Dan R. Dunsworth, is a family physician with special interest in internal medicine, pediatrics and adolescents. Dr. Dunsworth grew up in Los Angeles, CA. He completed his undergraduate studies at UCLA and attended Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL. He completed his residency at St. Paul Ramsey. Prior to coming to Silver Lake Clinic, Dr. Dunsworth was in private practice in the North Suburban area for 20 years. He is married and has one daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors, including fishing, hunting and sailing.

Diana Liu is originally from New York, receiving her Bachelor of Sciences degree from Cornell University. She received her Doctorate of Medicine degree from Albany Medical College and completed her residency through the University of Minnesota Medical Center. Dr. Liu is interested in all aspects of family medicine, including obstetrics, sports medicine and women's health. She performs a wide variety of procedures including colonoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy. She especially enjoys delivering babies and caring for moms and babies through pregnancy and beyond. Her hobbies include running, cross-country skiing, biking and hiking. She loves the beautiful lakes and parks of Minnesota and enjoys living here with her husband.

Doris Tran-Stoebe, MD is a family physician with special interests in obstetrics. A graduate of Rush Medical College, Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Tran-Stoebe completed her residency at the University of Minnesota. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice. Her professional affiliations include the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians.

Gary Brandeland, MD, is a Family Practice physician with special interests in heart disease, hypertension, minor trauma evaluation and treatment. He is a graduate of St. Cloud State University with a degree in biomedical science. He received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota. He completed his Family Practice residency at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire Clinic and Hospitals and is board certified in Family Practice. In his spare time he enjoys visiting his two daughters and reading, especially military history.

Grace Peterson, MD joined the staff of Golden Valley Physicians in 2003. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Medicine in Duluth, and did her residency at St. Joseph's Hospital in St. Paul. She is certified by the American Board of Family Practice.

Jade Anderson, MD, graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School. Following medical school he continued his medical education at the University of Minnesota where he completed his internship and residency and obtained his board certification in Internal Medicine. He completed his fellowship in Medical Oncology and Hematology at the University of Minnesota. During his training, Dr. Anderson developed a strong interest in palliative care, specifically in the treatment of cancer pain. Dr. Anderson focused six months of his training within Cancer Pain Clinics. During that time he worked with locally and internationally recognized pain experts to develop his skills in treating the most difficult pain syndromes.

Kevin Gu, earned his medical degree at the Shanghai Medical University of China, completed his Family Practice Residency at Hennepin County Medical Center, and is board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice. He has previously worked in Urgent Care, Mille Lacs Health System and Weiner Memorial Medical Center.

Lisa Hoepner, PA-C is a Physician Assistant who graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Medical School. Prior to enrolling in the physician assistant program, she worked as a radiology technologist at the University of Minnesota Hospital and at North Clinic. She is board certified in radiology and ACLS certified. Lisa's professional memberships include the National Academy of Physician Assistants, Minnesota State Physician Assistant Association and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

Marcia Saul, MD, is a Family Medicine Physician with emphasis in pediatric/adolescent medicine, asthma and allergies. Dr. Saul received her medical degree from the Mayo Medical School. In 1987, she completed her Family Practice residency at the University of Minnesota. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Saul maintains some evening hours so that she can be available for pediatric acute illnesses and injuries that do not occur during regular business hours.

Mark Prebonich earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Abbott Northwestern Hospital and served with distinction there as chief resident. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. His emphasis is in providing comprehensive care to the adult patient. Dr. Prebonich is a certified clinical densitometrist with special interests in bone density and osteoporosis. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Prebonich's professional affiliations include the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the Minnesota Medical Association, the Hennepin County Medical Society and the International Society for Clinical Densitometry.

As a doctor of podiatric medicine, Mark Zelent specializes in diseases and disorders of the foot and ankle, as well as treatment of the diabetic foot. Originally from the Chicago area, he completed his undergraduate and doctorate degrees in Illinois. Dr. Zelent completed his internship at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Minneapolis and his residency in podiatry surgery at Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids, where he was chief resident, 2005-2006 and 2006-2007. He is an associate member of - The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, The American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine, and the American Professional Wound Care Association. Dr. Zelent has been an author of numerous publications and is currently a manuscript reviewer for both the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Zelent is married and enjoys cooking and home improvement projects. He is available for referral appointments at several North Memorial Clinics, including St. Anthony and Plymouth.

Marvin Brooks, MD is a family physician with a special interest in cross-cultural medicine. He chairs a task force on cross-cultural diversity through the United Way and Hennepin County Medical Center. Dr. Brooks received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed a residency at North Memorial Medical Center. He is a professor at the University of Minnesota Medical School's Department of Family Practice. Dr. Brooks is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice. His professional memberships include the Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians, Minnesota Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians and the Hennepin County Medical Society.

Dr. Michael Pinchback was born outside of Memphis and grew up in eastern Arkansas. A graduate of the University of Arkansas school of Medical Sciences, he moved to Minnesota to do his residency at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine. His special interests are in adolescent medicine, sports medicine, geriatrics, and preventive medicine. He is a volunteer at the Teen Annex, a low cost clinic for 12-25 year olds in Robbinsdale,

Dr. Stoesz received his medical degree in 1986, and completed his residency in Family Practice in 1989, both at the University of Minnesota. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice, and is chairman of the Family Practice Section at Unity Hospital. He enjoys the wide-ranging challenges of Family Practice, caring for families with newborns to families with elderly in need of medical care. His personal interests include hiking, biking and fishing. He is married and has three boys.

Dr. Winter provides acupuncture services at the Golden Valley Clinic on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. She uses acupuncture to treat many conditions including: pain and headaches, insomnia, asthma, arthritis, menopause, gastrointestinal conditions, smoking cessation, fibromyalgia and other health conditions. Dr. Winter is board certified in Internal Medicine with a Fellowship in Acupuncture. She practiced internal medicine in the Twin Cities for 30 years before studying acupuncture and beginning her new practice. Many insurance plans cover at least part of acupuncture. Patrick Loew, is a physician assistant with a special interest in family practice and acute care. Patrick completed the University of Wisconsin-Madison Physician Assistant Program in 1988, and began practicing at St. Paul Ramsey Emergency Room. He is certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants, and is registered by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. He is a member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Minnesota Academy of Physician Assistants. Patrick has been married since 1988. He enjoys golf, football and fishing, in addition to playing and watching hockey, baseball and basketball with his children.

Robert Winston has served as Chief Executive Officer and director of the Company since March 15, 1994. Mr. Winston served as President of the Company for the period beginning March 15, 1994 and ending January 14, 1999. Mr. Winston is a native of North Carolina and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. degree in economics. Mr. Winston is Charles Winston's son and James Winston's nephew.

Ronda Bertsch, PA-C is a physician assistant with special interest in family practice, pediatrics and dermatology. Ms. Bertsch completed the Augsburg College Physician Assistant program in 2001. She is certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants and is registered by the Minnestoa Board of Medical Practice. She has been serving as a member of the MAPA Board of Directors for the past four years in various capacities.

Years ago, Stuart Bloom, MD, left a life as a professional New York actor and comedian to pursue a career in medicine. He completed his undergraduate studies at New York University and graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota Medical School. Dr. Bloom completed his internal medicine residency at Hennepin County Medical Center and his fellowship work in hematology, medical oncology and transplantation at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. He is pursuing research related to quality of life for older adults with cancer.

Harold Londer, MD, is consistently recognized by his peers as a premier oncology specialist. He has been selected as a Top Doc in the Mpls.-St. Paul magazine annual survey of Twin Cities health care professionals every year since the survey has been published. More important to Dr. Londer are the relationships he creates with each of his patients, whose fondness and respect for him is truly remarkable. Dr. Londer received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota in 1973. He completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Minnesota Hospital for his post-graduate medical training. Dr. Londer served as a lieutenant commander in the United States Public Health Services, and also as a clinical associate at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology, a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Minnesota Medical School. He has practiced at North Memorial since 1978 and is also medical director of the Hubert H. Humphrey Cancer Center, an oncology-hematology specialty practice with clinics in Robbinsdale, Coon Rapids and Fridley.
