A pioneer in computer-assisted minimally invasive surgical techniques, Dr. S. David Stulberg is universally recognized as being one of the world's top orthopaedic surgeons. He has taught, influenced, and inspired thousands of physicians and surgeons from all over the world. He serves as Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and is the founder and director of the Joint Reconstruction and Implant Service at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He is a member of the Hip Society and the Knee Societies of America, a co-founder of the International Society for Technology in Arthoplasty, a founding member of the International Society for Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery, a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, and a member of the Board of Directors of Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. Dr. Stulberg is also the co-author of hundreds of professional publications on arthritis and joint reconstruction of the hip and knee as well as the co-author of the book Arthritis of the Hip & Knee: The Active Person's Guide to Taking Charge. He lectures frequently on these topics in America and abroad. He earned his medical degrees from the University of Michigan School of Medicine and served his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Harvard University Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program. The proud father of three he also recently gained the title of grandfather Dr. Stulberg and his wife, Jann, live in Chicago. His hobbies include marathon running and traveling the world.

Alan H. Kadish, MD, is Senior Associate Chief of the Cardiology Division at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. He is also Director of Electrocardiology and Director of the Cardiovascular Clinical Trials Unit at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. A graduate of Columbia University, Dr. Kadish completed his MD at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Gary Noskin, MD serves as Medical Director of the Infection Control and Prevention Department at Northwestern Memorial Hospital as well as their Healthcare Epidemiologist. In addition, he is the director of the Northwestern Memorial Epicenter, a CDC sponsored Prevention Epicenter, and an associate professor of medicine at the Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University. With over 30 years of experience in all aspects of dermatology, Dr. J.B. Pinski has earned a reputation of excellence in his field. In addition to his private practice, he also serves as an attending physician at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Northwestern University Medical Center in Chicago. Although experienced in all areas of dermatology, Dr Pinski strongly focuses on cosmetic dermatology and specializes in hair transplantation and bald scalp reduction, as well as dermabrasion. A noted expert in his field, he has lectured at conferences and meetings for dermatologists both nationally and internationally. Born profoudly deaf, Carol attended Wright Oral School in NY until the age of 4. Carol was then mainstreamed with extensive speech therapy after school hours until graduated from high school. Graduated from American University with a BS in Biology/Medical Technology.Carol wore a hearing aid from the age of 2 and a half until receiving a cochlear implant four years ago. Carol works at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Carol served as a past president of the first Illinois chapter of AG Bell. Carol is on the nominations committee for DHHS and has served as a past DHHS membership secretary, and is program chair for the 2007 DHHS retreat in Chicago.
Dr. Giegerich is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with a focus on foot and ankle surgery, in addition to general orthopedics. On staff at The Neurologic & Orthopedic Hospital of Chicago, Dr. Giegerich is also an assistant clinical professor at Northwestern University Medical School 's department of orthopedic surgery, and he is a member of the medical attending staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital .
Dr. Kraff is committed to advancing new technologies in the field of ophthalmology and helped to pioneer laser vision correction. He is a member of the Optical Express International Medical Advisory Board (IMAB) and of various affiliated bodies and societies such as the International Society of Refractive Surgery and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Jennifer McGeorge has been involved with ICL as a board member and grant-writer since 2005. She practices as a Labor & Delivery nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital serving a diverse patient population in downtown Chicago. Dr. Grady is the administrative director of the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute of Northwestern Memorial Hospital's Center for Heart Failure and associate professor in the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. She is world-renowned for her research in the area of quality of life after heart transplantation and ventricular assist device implantation. Dr. Grady has held numerous scientific leadership positions, most notably as the past chair of the American Heart Association's Council on Cardiovascular Nursing (2003-2005). She also serves on the board of directors of the American Heart Association Metropolitan Chicago Division. Dr. Grady was the founding co-chair of the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation's Council on Nursing and Social Sciences. Dr. Grady holds the distinction of being a Fellow of the American Academy of Nurses (FAAN). She is also a fellow of the American Heart Association (FAHA) and a fellow of the Institute of Medicine of Chicago (IOMC). Dr. Grady has won several awards including the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation's Nursing Research Award and the American Heart Association's Council on Cardiovascular Nursing Arteriosclerosis and Heart Failure Research Prize. Dr. Grady received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Mercy College of Detroit, graduating summa cum laude. She received her Master of Science (MS) from the University of California, San Francisco, graduating magna cum laude with a specialty in cardiovascular nursing. Her doctoral degree was earned from Loyola University of Chicago. Dr. Grady worked as a head nurse, nursing educator, and clinical nurse specialist for many years at various medical centers across the country including Straub Clinic and Hospital in Honolulu, HI; Stanford University, Stanford, CA; and Loyola University, Maywood, IL. She was the nursing director of the Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant Program, associate professor of Medicine, and professor of Nursing at Rush University for many years. Dr. Grady was recruited to join Northwestern University as the Administrative Director, Center for Heart Failure and Associate Professor of Surgery, Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Grady is a member of five editorial boards, including The Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation and reviews for more than 10 additional scientific journals. Dr. Grady has served on national and international scientific grant application review committees including study review sections for the National Institutes of Health and as a reviewer for the Swiss National Science Foundation. Margaret McGovern, M.S. OTR/L, received her B.A. from the University of Illinois in 1988, and M.S. from Rush University in 1990. She has worked at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, primarily on the neuroscience units, since 1990.
Robert Sufit, M.D., director of the Lois Insolia ALS Center, is a board-certified neurologist who joined the Center in 1992. He is a Professor of Neurology and is very active in clinical research trials for ALS. Prior to coming to Northwestern, he was Co-Director of the Muscular Dystrophy Clinic and Director of the Muscle Histopathology Laboratory at the University of Wisconsin, where he worked closely with Benjamin Brooks, M.D. He also served as Chief of Rehabilitation Medicine Service at Middleton VA Hospital in Madison. He received his B.A. and M.A. in chemistry from Johns Hopkins University and his M.D. degree from the University of Virginia. Scott Heller, M.D. received his medical degree from the Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine at the University of Illinois and completed his neurology residence at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. He then spent two years at the Jerry Lewis Neuromuscular Research Center at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. He has been with the Center since it opened in 1986. He is a board-certified neurologist and associate professor in the Department of Neurology and Pediatrics at Northwestern University and is an attending physician at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Benson is the executive director of the Depression and Anxiety Specialty Clinic of Chicago. He is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Illinois and a Certified Affiliate with the Academy of Cognitive Therapy (ACT). He earned his Bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He later earned his M.S. and Ph.D. from the Institute of Psychology at Illinois Institute of Technology. He has over 10 years of experience working with adults and adolescents in a variety of settings and now specializes in cognitive-behavioral treatment of anxiety disorders and depression. Dr. Benson also is currently a Staff Psychologist and Assistant Professor at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and The Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago. Serdar E. Bulun, M.D. is the George H. Gardner Professor of Clinical Gynecology, Friends of Prentice Distinguished Physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director, Division of Reproductive Biology Research at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Bulun also serves as co-leader of Women's Cancers and co-leader of the Breast Cancer Research Program at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center at Northwestern University, and is a staff physician at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois . Dr. Bulun is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Regarded as one of the world's most innovative and effective translational researchers among his generation of physician-scientists in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Bulun has made substantial contributions to the understanding of reproductive endocrinology and particularly to the role of aromatase and COX-2 in the pathophysiology of endometriosis. Among other noted achievements, he was the first to describe the full aromatase gene structure and was the first to successfully introduce aromatase inhibitors into the treatment of endometriosis. Since 2003, Dr. Bulun has been serving as the Director of The Division of Reproductive Biology Research at Northwestern University. Currently, five independent investigators and approximately 40 research scientists work on translational research related to steroid biochemistry, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, women's cancers and implantation in this new Division that he founded at Northwestern University. Dr. Bulun is involved in many multicenter clinical studies as principal or co-investigator, and serves/has served as a regular member or ad hoc reviewer on numerous National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Department of Defense Breast Cancer Research Program scientific review panels, including: Integrative and Clinical Endocrinology and Reproduction (ICER); Reproductive Endocrinology (REN); Biochemical Endocrinology (BCE), and other Special Emphasis Panels; Center for Inherited Disease Research (CIDR); Tumor Micro-environment (TME) Study Section; NCI-P01 (breast cancer); Specialized Centers of Research (SCOR) on Sex and Gender Factors Affecting Women's Health; and, Endocrinology Review Panel. Dr. Bulun currently serves on several editorial boards including: Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism; Steroids; and, Seminars in Reproductive Medicine. He is also a publication reviewer for numerous international journals such as New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM), Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), Journal of Clinical Investigation, Lancet, Cancer Research, Clinical Cancer Research, Molecular Endocrinology, and the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, among others. An elected member of the American Society for Clinical Investigation (ASCI), the Society for Gynecologic Investigation (SGI) and the American Gynecological and Obstetrical Society (AGOS), Dr. Bulun has served as an invited expert, program chair, board examiner (Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility) and/or speaker at more than 50 international and national symposia, conferences, workshops, courses and meetings, and his work has resulted in more than 100 publications worldwide. Dr. Bulun earned his doctor of medicine from Istanbul University School of Medicine in Istanbul, Turkey. He was trained as a resident in pathology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson . Tom Judge serves as Chaplain to the College of Law and the School of Computer Science, Telecommunications, and Information Systems (CTI) via DePaul University Ministry's Center for Spirituality and Values in Practice. He came to DePaul University in 2004 from Loyola University Chicago where he worked within University Ministry. Tom is completing his master of divinity degree at the University of Chicago. Prior to that he was a principal at Venture Investment Management Company, LLC (VIMAC), a Boston group managing "angel" investments in early stage companies. There Mr. Osborn focused on renewable energy and healthcare opportunities. Mr. Osborn has been an entrepreneur in the environmental and energy field, founding and managing an electric vehicle distribution subsidiary for a major utility company and starting a green business development and consulting firm. Earlier he co-managed a venture capital fund for automaker BMW and was a management consultant with Arthur D. Little, where he led a consulting practice involved with new energy technologies. Before his consulting work, Mr. Osborn practiced law and managed a state government office promoting solar energy. He also was a staff attorney at Ralph Nader's Center for the Study of Responsive Law, where he authored The Paper Plantation, a book about the environmental and social impact of the pulp and paper industry on the state of Maine. Mr. Osborn sits or has been on the boards of several start-up and expansion-stage companies, including Evergreen Solar, Inc. (photovoltaic modules), World Power Technologies, Inc. (power quality instrumentation), Surgical Sealants, Inc. (surgical wound products), Fingerlakes Aquaculture LLC (recycled-water aquaculture), and Conservation Services Group (energy efficiency services). He is a founding Trustee of the Domini Social Equity Fund and a Board Member of Investors' Circle, where he has also chaired the Selection Committee that chooses companies to present to members for investment. He has also been President of the Brookline Foundation, a local education foundation raising private funds for public school teacher development. He has a BA from Princeton University and a JD from George Washington Law School.
