NOVA Chemicals Corp.

Mr. Lipton, age 65, is the President and Chief Executive Officer and a Director of NOVA Chemicals Corporation. He joined NOVA in 1993 after a 29-year career with the DuPont Company, where he held a number of management and executive positions. He is a member of the United States Steel Corporation Board of Directors and Chair of its Audit Committee. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Council of Chief Executives and the American Chemistry Council. He is a past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the American Chemistry Council and the American Section of the Society of Chemical Industries.

Jack joined NOVA Corporation of Alberta in 1988 as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary and was named Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Environmental Officer of NOVA Corporation in 1994. In 1998, he was named Senior Vice President, Legal and General Counsel for NOVA Chemicals, and added the responsibility of Corporate Secretary to this role in 2004. In October 2006, he assumed his current role of Chief Legal Officer. Jack is also responsible for NOVA Chemicals' Investor Relations and Public and Government Affairs functions and is Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to 1988, he served as Senior Legal Counsel for Dome Petroleum Ltd. and as Assistant General Counsel for Norcen Energy Resources Ltd. Jack is a director of Heritage Valley Health System. Jack graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Laws degree and is a member of the Ontario and Alberta Bars.

Larry joined Petrosar, a predecessor company of NOVA Corporation of Alberta, in 1979 as an internal auditor. He progressed through several financial, information technology, and merger and acquisition positions within NOVA Corporation and NOVA Corporation of Alberta before assuming the role of Senior Vice President, Manufacturing East for NOVA Chemicals in 1999. He assumed his current role in December 2001. Larry is a member of the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Chemical Producers Association. He graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a Chartered Accountant.

Marilyn Horner is Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for NOVA Chemicals. She has executive oversight of the company's human resources activities worldwide. Marilyn joined Polysar Limited, a predecessor company of NOVA Chemicals Corporation, in 1985 in the Corporate Treasury department. She held leadership positions within NOVA Corporation and NOVA Chemicals Corporation, including Vice President & Controller - Olefins/Polyolefins and Vice President & Executive Assistant to the CEO before assuming the role of Vice President, Human Resources and Corporate Effectiveness in 2006. She was appointed to her current role in September 2008. Marilyn is a member of the Board of Trustees of Point Park University, a member of the Conference Board for the Council of Human Resources Executives and Executive Sponsor of NOVA Chemicals' Women in NOVA program. Marilyn earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Windsor.

Mr. Mirosh is Vice President of NOVA Chemicals Corp. and President of Olefin Feedstocks, Calgary. Prior to 2002, Mr. Mirosh was Executive Vice President, TransCanada PipeLines Limited. In 2001, he was Executive Vice President, Regulatory Strategy and Northern Development, TransCanada PipeLines Limited. In 2000, Mr. Mirosh was a Senior Vice President, Strategy and Business Development, TransCanada PipeLines Limited. Prior to 2000, he was President of Alberta Natural Gas Co. Ltd.

Ms. Eurich joined Pennsylvania Commercial Real Estate Inc. in the spring of 2007 as Facility Manager of Furniture and Design at NOVA Chemicals Inc. in Moon Township. Mrs. Eurich has over ten years of experience in interior design, furniture planning, and project management.

In between and during filmmaking projects, Harley Hay has worked as a professional drummer, a paralegal, an English teacher, a TV news videographer, and a portrait photographer. He holds a Law Clerk Diploma, and a Bachelor of Education (English Major/Film Studies Minor) and is currently the Audio/Visual Contractor for Nova Chemicals. He was Associate Producer and Camera Operator on the feature films NAKED FRAILTIES and PIZNEY'S OCCUPATION, still photographer on numerous film projects, and has written, produced and directed a number of his own short films. On-going projects include freelance corporate video productions, three full-length screenplays, and several independent short film projects in various stages of production.

Larry has over 25 years experience in project engineering, management, and administration. He has supervised a variety of projects in the petrochemical and manufacturing industries, including installation of new process boilers, new process lines, PLC's and control systems, and vessel, heat exchanger, and pump replacement projects. He has developed project scoping documents, performed cost-benefit and discounted cash flow analyses, performed risk assessments, and developed project budgets, manpower plans, and schedules. His client experience includes BP, Exxon-Mobil, Equistar, Clark Refining, RR Donnelley, U.S. Can, Dow Chemical-Essex Products, NOVA Chemicals, TRW, and General Dynamics. He developed and implemented Dynamic Engineering and Management, Inc.'s ISO 9001 systems and procedures.

Mr. Ludwick has been a director of NOVA Chemicals since February 2000. Until December 2002, he was Deputy Chairman of Claridge Inc. and prior to 1999 was President and Chief Executive Officer of Claridge and a Vice President of The Seagram Company Ltd. He resides in Montreal, Quebec.

Charles W. Fischer is President and Chief Executive Officer of Nexen Inc., one of Canada's largest energy marketing companies. Mr. Fischer joined Nexen in 1994 and in 1997 was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He was appointed to the Nexen Board in 2000 and assumed his current position in 2001. Mr. Fischer sits on the University of Calgary?s Board of Governors; co-chairs the Alberta Climate Change Central Board; and is a member of the Calgary Airport Authority Business Development Advisory Council.

Dr. Boer has been a director of NOVA Chemicals, or its predecessor companies, NOVA Corporation and NOVA Corporation of Alberta, since February 1991. He resides in Boynton Beach, Florida. He is President and Chief Executive Officer of Tiger Scientific Inc., a firm specializing in science and technology consulting and investments. Dr. Boer holds an AB in Physics from Princeton University and a PhD in Chemical Physics from Harvard University.

Mr. Newall, 69, is also Chairman and Director of NOVA Chemicals Corporation, Chairman and Director of Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd. and Chairman and director of Novelis Inc. In 1998 he retired as Vice-Chairman and CEO of NOVA Corporation. He served as a Director of Alcan Inc. till December 2004 and as a director of Royal Bank Financial Group till January 2005. Mr. Newall is an Officer of the Order of Canada.

Ms. Janice Rennie, of Edmonton, Canada, was Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness for EPCOR Utilities Inc. She serves on the boards of several large Canadian companies including the Canadian Hotel Income Properties Real Estate Investment Trust, Greystone Capital Management Inc., NOVA Chemicals Corp. and West Fraser Timber Co. Ltd. Ms. Rennie holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta.

Mr. Blumberg has been a director of NOVA Chemicals since February 2000. He is a retired Executive Vice President of E.I. DuPont de Nemours & Company, Inc. He is a director of The Lubrizol Corporation and iServiceX,Inc. Mr.Blumberg resides in Durango, Colorado.

Dr. Creighton has been a director of NOVA Chemicals since June 2001. She resides in South Hadley, Massachusetts, and is President and Professor of English of Mount Holyoke College. Prior to January 1996, Ms. Creighton was Interim President and Professor of English of Wesleyan University. She is a director and President of Five Colleges, Inc., and a director of the Consortium on the Financing of Higher Education, the Women's College Coalition and the Economic Development Council of Western Massachusetts.

Corporate Director. Mr. Hawkins retired as President of Cargill Limited (agricultural) in December 2005. He has worked in the marketing and agriculture industries since 1964 and, prior to becoming its President in 1982, held senior executive positions at Cargill Incorporated in North America and Europe. Mr. Hawkins has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from North Dakota State University. Mr. Fortier has been a director of NOVA Chemicals since July 1998. He resides in Westmount, Quebec, and is Chairman and a senior partner of Ogilvy Renault, Barristers and Solicitors, Montreal, Quebec.

Ms. Brlas joined the NOVA Board on September 24, 2008. She is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Cliffs Natural Resources Inc. Previously Ms. Brlas was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of STERIS Corporation and Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller of Office Max, Inc. Ms. Brlas has served as a director of Perrigo Company since August 2003.
