Fred Hargett is Novant Health's executive vice president of finance. He joined the health system in 2003 and most recently served as senior vice president of financial planning. Prior to joining Novant, Mr. Hargett served as manager of healthcare consulting at Ernst & Young in Charlotte, NC. At Ernst & Young, he led engagements in strategic planning, business development and financial forecasting. Mr. Hargett graduated with a bachelor of science degree in Public Health, a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration and a Masters Degree in Accounting from University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. He is a certified public accountant licensed in North Carolina. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

As Manager of IT Client Services for Novant Health, Chris Meadows is responsible for the overall Incident Management process and Service Desk function which supports 22,000+ customers. His responsibilities include managing the Support Center, Data Center Operations and Remedy Teams. Chris has 10 years experience in the support industry. Prior to accepting support leadership roles in the HealthCare arena, Chris served as a Certified Instructor for STI-Knowledge / Help Desk 2000 during which he trained and certified more than 500 support industry practitioners nationwide in Best Practices. In addition to being HDI Support Center Director certified, Chris is also ITIL Practitioner certified.

Malia has worked in the healthcare industry since 1993 for Novant Health. She served ten years as Manager of Medical Staff Services for Novant Health's Triad Market in Winston Salem, NC and in late 2008 transferred to work with Novant's Coastal Market in Supply, NC. where she is presently the Manager of Medical Staff Services for Brunswick Community Hospital. She is a member of NAMSS and currently holds NAMSS CPCS certification.

Michael B. Baughan has been President and Chief Operating Officer of B/E Aerospace, Inc. since December 31, 2005. From July 2002 to December 2005, Mr. Baughan was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Commercial Aircraft Segment, the company’s largest segment accounting for 65% of total revenue. Upon joining the company in 1994, he was Vice President, Sales and Marketing for the Seating Products Group until 1999, and then Seating Division Vice President and General Manager until July 2002. Prior to 1994, Mr. Baughan held various positions including President of AET Systems, Manager of Strategic Initiatives at The Boston Company (American Express) and Sales Representative at Dow Chemical Company. Mr. Baughan has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia and a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. He is active in various industry associations and serves on the board of United Way. He is a licensed pilot.
