(NASDAQ: NGPS) designs, markets, and sells high-precision global positioning system devices. The company makes GPS receivers, antennas, signal generators, software, and augmented products. Its products are used for aviation, geomatics, mining, defense, and marine industries. It sells to about 300 OEMs, including top customers BEELINE Technologies, Shenzhen Shenyuan, and Thales. The company had 2005 revenue of about $57.2 million and employs about 180 people. In October 2005, it acquired Waypoint Consulting, Inc for about $2.84 million.
