Marcos Vescovi has over 15 years of entrepreneurship and industry experience with Silicon Valley high-technology companies. Prior to co-founding mHave, Mr. Vescovi served as Chief Technologist for iPIN (now Valista), the world's leading Internet and mobile payments technology provider. At iPIN he led design and development of iPIN's next generation technology. Prior to iPIN, Mr. Vescovi was co-founder and VP of Engineering for OOOHA!, which is a subsidiary of NUR Macroprinters (Nasdaq: NURM) and aimed at creating an Internet B2B marketplace for the wide-format printing industry. He was also the co-founder and Chief Technologist for Paul Allen's Zowie Intertainment, which was acquired by the Lego Company. He was the co-inventor of Zowie's smart toy products that were cited as "It Toy of the Year 99" by Newsweek Magazine. Mr. Vescovi has also conducted research at Paul Allen's Interval Research, Apple's Advanced Technology Group and Stanford's Knowledge Systems Laboratory. In his career, he has contributed with more than 35 international publications and has been cited in over 150 publications. His areas of expertise include financial enterprise software, distributed systems, artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction. Mr. Vescovi holds a Ph. D. in Computer Science from the University of Savoie, France and a Post-Doc from Stanford University.
