William J. Levi has served as Vice President of Operations and Business Development since May, 2006. Mr. Levi joined Nutrition 21 as Business Director, Ingredients in October, 2001. Mr. Levi has over 25 years of general management, and senior sales and marketing experience in the food and nutraceutical ingredient industries for North American and International markets. Prior to joining Nutrition 21, Mr. Levi held various senior management positions most recently with ACH Foods headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee where he served as General Manager of the Humko Oils and Specialty Ingredients divisions with responsibility for operations, sales, marketing and technical service functions. Prior to joining ACH in 1996, he served as Director of Sales and Marketing for Abitec Corporation. Mr. Levi began his food industry career in 1977 with Durkee Foods.
Mr. Levi holds a BA from the University of Dayton.

John H. Gutfreund , age 78, is Senior Advisor of Collins Stewart LLC, an investment partnership for high-growth technology companies, a position he has held since January 2002. Since 1993, Mr. Gutfreund has also been the President of Gutfreund & Co. Inc., a financial management consulting firm. Formerly, Mr. Gutfreund was with Salomon Brothers from 1953-1991, most recently as its Chairman. Mr. Gutfreund is a director of AXES LLC, Evercel, Inc., and Montefiore Medical Center. He is chairman of the Board for Nutrition 21, Inc. He is an advisor to The Universal Bond Fund and member of The Brookings Institution, Council Advisory Committee in New York; member, Council on Foreign Relations; Lifetime Member, Board of Trustees, New York Public Library; Honorary Trustee, Oberlin (Ohio) College; and Chairman Emeritus and Member of the Board of Trustees, Aperture Foundation. He has served as a director of the Company since 1997. John C. Hassan , age 65, has been a consultant to BSC Ventures, a holding company in the printing and converting industry, since November 2006. Prior to that, he had been the President and CEO of Champion Printing, Inc., a direct mail printing company, for more than 15 years. Audrey T. Cross, PhD, was elected a Director of the Company in January 1995. Dr. Cross has been Associate Clinical Professor at the Institute of Human Nutrition at the School of Public Health of Columbia University since 1988. She also works as a consultant in the areas of nutrition and health policy. She has served as a special assistant to the United States Secretary of Agriculture as Coordinator for Human Nutrition Policy and has worked with both the United States Senate and the California State Senate on nutrition policy matters. Dr. Cross received a BS in dietetics, a Master of Public Health in nutrition and a PhD from the University of California at Berkeley, and a JD from the Hastings College of Law at the University of California at San Francisco.

Peter Mann is one of the founders of Prestige Brands, Inc. and is the retired Chairman and CEO of the Company. He is also a Partner in West Hill Partners, LLC. Prior to that, he served as President and CEO of the Company's predecessor, Medtech Labs. Mr. Mann is a senior consumer and pharmaceutical products business executive with over 35 years of general management, marketing and sales experience. From 1973 through 2001, Mr. Mann served as the President of the Americas Division of Block Drug Company, Inc., and was responsible for the overall strategic and financial direction for the corporation and directly managed all business conducted in the United States, Canada, Mexico and South America. Mr. Mann joined Block in 1973 as a Group Product Manager and subsequently served in numerous key positions including Vice President-New Products, Vice President-Consumer Products & Oral Care Division, Senior Vice President-U.S. Consumer Marketing & Sales, and President-U.S. Division during his career with the company. Prior to joining Block, Mr. Mann held senior management positions for such leading consumer products companies as The Mennen Company, Swift & Co. and Chemway, Inc.
