Richard A. Mahoney is the President of MedPlus, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Quest Diagnostics® ; and Vice President, Healthcare Information Solutions for Quest Diagnostics. Prior to joining MedPlus, Mr. Mahoney was president of a company that provided financing for hospitals and related organizations. MedPlus was acquired by Quest Diagnostics in November 2001.
Mr. Mahoney was also the Founder and Chairman of two Inc 500 companies. Mr. Mahoney has an impressive history including: President, Commercial Capital Corporation; Vice President, Franchising & Business Development - Sisters Chicken & Biscuits; Vice President, Kidder Peabody; Merrill Lynch.
Mr. Mahoney has extensive healthcare experience in the areas of strategic planning, marketing, and financing. In addition, he has lectured on subjects such as managed care, capitation, integrated provider networks, computer-based patient record systems, and regional healthcare alliances. He is a current member of the advisory committee to the eHealth Initiative and a member of ACLA. Mr. Mahoney also served as a member of CHIME (College of Health Information Management Executives)

Albert Tate has been with Quest Diagnostics Incorporated, and its acquired laboratories, since 1976. In 2004, Mr. Tate was assigned to the MedPlus subsidiary as Vice President of Diagnostic Services Group where he is responsible for analysis and development of all functionality for the Laboratory Orders & Results portions of the Care360 product suite. Mr. Tate is also responsible for providing validation and verification services to all product development lines at MedPlus. Mr. Tate has over 30 years of Health Care Information Technology experience and has served in a variety of management positions at Quest Diagnostics Incorporated. Recent assignments include management of regional field IT and responsibility for all external customer connectivity projects. Catherine T. Doherty is Vice President, Hospital Services, for Quest Diagnostics. She leads our Hospital Services business, as well as our efforts in science and innovation. Ms. Doherty is responsible for driving growth in our Hospital business and the operations of our four principal esoteric laboratories. She joined Quest Diagnostics in 1990 and most recently was Vice President, Office of the Chairman, where Ms. Doherty supported the Chairman and CEO in strategic and operational activities and helped drive timely and effective decision making. In that role, she was also responsible for business development, including licensing of new tests and technologies, corporate strategy, strategic initiatives and data analytics and our point of care testing business. Additionally, Ms. Doherty has held many roles in the finance function. She also previously held Vice President, Investor Relations, Communications and Public Affairs and Vice President, Finance and Administration, Hospital Business roles. Ms. Doherty is a certified public accountant. She graduated from Montclair State University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting. She resides in Dumont, New Jersey, with her husband Patrick and their three children.
David W. Norgard is Vice President, Human Resources, for Quest Diagnostics. He is responsible for all Human Resources programs and employee initiatives at the company in addition to Employee Health and Safety. He also oversees the National Logistics functions including Aviation. Mr. Norgard joined Quest Diagnostics in 2003. Prior to joining Quest Diagnostics, Mr. Norgard had served as a Practice Leader in the Human Capital Consulting practice of Deloitte & Touche and had also owned a private Human Resources consulting and outsourcing firm. He has held several senior level positions in industry including Vice President, Human Resources, at Elsag Bailey Process Automation NV, where he had worldwide responsibility for Human Resources matters and as Director, Employee Relations and Labor Counsel, at Picker International. Mr. Norgard holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Pittsburg State University (Pittsburg, Kansas), a Master of Arts degree from The University of Iowa, and a J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University. He is admitted to the Ohio State Bar and is a member of the Ohio Bar Association. A native of Kansas, Mr. Norgard is a resident of Fairfield, New Jersey.
Ken Finnegan is Vice President, International, for Quest Diagnostics. He is responsible for leading and growing the company's International business and developing appropriate strategies to enter new markets and drive international expansion. Mr. Finnegan is also responsible for the company's global Clinical Trials business. Mr. Finnegan joined Quest Diagnostics as Vice President and Treasurer in July 1997. In 1998, he was given the responsibility for Investor Relations. In May 2000, he was appointed to the newly created position of Vice President, Business Development and Strategy. Mr. Finnegan most recently served as Vice President, Strategic Markets, responsible for developing and implementing strategies to penetrate new markets in the United States. Before joining Quest Diagnostics, Mr. Finnegan had been Assistant Treasurer at General Signal Corporation in Stamford, Connecticut. He also served on the corporate staffs of International Paper Company and Texaco, Inc. Mr. Finnegan graduated from Siena College in 1981. In 1983 he received a Master's Degree in business administration from Pace University in White Plains, New York, with a dual concentration in finance and management information systems. He resides in Boonton Township, New Jersey with his wife and two children.
Tim Sharpe is Vice President, Compliance, for Quest Diagnostics. Mr. Sharpe and his team are responsible for working with all of Quest Diagnostics employees to ensure that the company remains fully compliant with the law. Mr. Sharpe joined the company in 1999 as Chief Litigation Counsel and has served as Vice President, Compliance since January 2007. Prior to joining Quest Diagnostics, he was the Deputy Director of the Maryland Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, where he oversaw and prosecuted criminal health care fraud cases. He also worked with the law firm of Piper & Marbury, representing companies and individuals in civil litigation. Mr. Sharpe earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Wayne State University in Michigan and a law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law.
Dr. Patrice Burgess reviews medical content for Healthwise, a nonprofit organization with a mission to help people make better health decisions. Dr. Burgess is a family practice physician in Boise, Idaho, and is a part-time faculty member at the Family Practice Residency of Idaho. An accomplished instructor, Dr. Burgess received the Faculty Teacher of the Year Award for 1998 1999 and the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine Award in 1993. Dr. Burgess is a past president of the Idaho Medical Association and the current American Medical Association Delegate for Idaho. She also does some administrative work for Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. She assists the hospital with physician relations and the physician component of implementing an electronic health record. She has served as Associate Medical Director for Healthwise, Incorporated, since October 2000.
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Quest Diagnostics Incorporated ("Quest") since November 2003. Prior to that, Mr. Hagemann served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Quest from August 1998. Mr. Hagemann joined a predecessor company, Corning Life Sciences, Inc., a subsidiary of Quest's former parent, Corning Incorporated, in 1992, and held a variety of senior financial positions before being named Vice President and Corporate Controller of Quest in 1996. Prior to joining Corning, Mr. Hagemann was employed by Prime Hospitality, Inc. and Crompton & Knowles, Inc. in senior financial positions. He was also previously employed by Arthur Young & Co., a predecessor company to Ernst & Young. Mr. Hagemann holds a B.S. in accounting from Rider University and an MBA in finance from Seton Hall University.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, HCP, Inc. Jay Flaherty is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of HCP. Prior to joining HCP in October 2002, Jay enjoyed a nineteen-year career with Merrill Lynch & Co., serving in a variety of investment banking, capital markets and private equity functions in New York, London and Los Angeles. His responsibilities at Merrill Lynch included managing the Global Health Care Group, where he created and led their healthcare franchise. Jay received a BBA in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame in 1979 and earned an MBA from the Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1983. From 1979 to 1981, Jay was a certified public accountant in the Boston office of Ernst & Whinney. Currently he sits on the Board of Governors of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT).

David M. Zewe is Senior Vice President, Diagnostic Testing Operations. He leads the newly-formed Hospital Business Team and oversees diagnostic testing operations company-wide, including physician, hospital, international and drugs of abuse testing. Mr. Zewe joined the Company in 1994 as General Manager of the Philadelphia regional laboratory, became Regional Vice President, Sales and Marketing for the mid-Atlantic region in August 1996, became Vice President, Sales in September 1997 overseeing the sales function company-wide, became Vice President, Revenue Services in August 1999 leading the billing function company-wide and became Senior Vice President, U.S. Operations in January 2001, responsible for all core business operations and revenue services. Mr. Zewe assumed his current position in May 2002. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Zewe was with the Squibb Diagnostics Division of Bristol Myers Squibb, most recently serving as Vice President of Sales.
David Evans is Vice President, Information Technology for Quest Diagnostics. He is responsible for leading the Quest Diagnostics IT organization. Mr. Evans joined Quest Diagnostics in 2001 as Executive Director, Laboratory Operations Systems, and was named Vice President, Diagnostics Systems and Services in 2006. He previously served in a variety of management positions at the American Red Cross and spent the early part of his career in technical sales.
Dr. Fisher is responsible for the Academic Associate program and serves as Senior Science Offi cer at the Nichols Institute. He received his M.D. degree from the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) and completed pediatric and endocrinology training at UCSF and the University of Oregon. He held faculty positions at the University of Arkansas School of Medicine and UCLA School of Medicine. He served as Chairman of Pediatrics at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and Director of the Walter Martin Research Center at that institution. He is Past President of the Endocrine Society and the American Pediatric Society, former Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism and Pediatric Research, present member of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Science, and a recipient of the Howland Award of the American Pediatric Society. He was recently elected to the Hall of Honor of National Institute of Child ealth and Human Development. Dr. Fisher has published more than 135 book chapters and authored or coauthored 10 books.
John E. Nosenzo is Vice President, Physician Sales and Marketing for Quest Diagnostics. In this position, Mr. Nosenzo is responsible for the Sales, Marketing, Health Plan and Sales Operation organizations that support the physician business. Mr. Nosenzo joined Quest Diagnostics in January 2008, coming from Siemens Medical Solutions Diagnostics (formerly Bayer Healthcare Diagnostics Division), where he was Senior Vice President, General Manager Americas, since May 2004. Previously, he served as Vice President of Sales Medical Testing Systems, starting in 2001. He also held senior sales, marketing and operations positions at Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Division. Mr. Nosenzo earned a bachelor's degree in pharmacy from St. John's University and is a Registered Pharmacist. He holds an MBA in Marketing/Management from Adelphi University. He resides in Sparta, New Jersey, with his wife and children.
Robert E. Peters is Vice President, Sales and Marketing. He oversees sales and marketing company-wide. Mr. Peters joined the Company in 1997 as Managing Director of the Teterboro regional laboratory, became Senior Managing Director of the New York/New Jersey region in 2000 and Regional Vice President for the East region in 2002. Mr. Peters assumed his current position in March 2003. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Peters was with Ciba-Geigy Corporation, most recently serving as Vice President of Pharmaceutical Operations.

Alex Gantverg is the Laboratory Director for the Quest Diagnostics facility in Norristown, Pennsylvania. As such, Dr. Gantverg is responsible for the lab's daily operation, quality and service. He has over 20 years of analytical lab experience. He was a senior scientist in the toxicology lab in St. Petersburg (Russia) and then worked for various drug testing companies in South Africa and Canada. Dr. Gantverg received his bachelor's degree in biochemistry from St. Petersburg University in 1981 and a Ph.D. degree in biochemical toxicology in 1985 (Russia). His degree was evaluated as Ph.D. by International Credential Evaluation Services (California, 2005) and York University (Ontario, 2001).
Area of Expertise: Method development of LC/MS/MS drug testing
Dr. Balderrama received her Ph.D. degree from Pennsylvania State University, and completed postdoctoral training in reproductive neuroendocrinology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Balderrama served as an Assistant Professor at the UCLA School of Medicine in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She was also a recipient of a Research Scientist Award from the National Institute on Aging.
Dr. Sferruzza received his Ph.D. degree in cell biology from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He has held positions as Vice-President and Scientifi c Director of Medical Biology at Cytocare, Inc. and was cofounder of Pacifi c Bioresearch Foundation in Newport Beach, California. He has also held positions as Laboratory Director at Pacifi c Coast Biotherapeutics, Therapeutic Product Project Leader at Quidel, Inc., in La Jolla, California, and Scientifi c Investigator and Instructor of Physiology at Louisiana State University.
Arturo Anguiano is dual certifi ed by the American Board of Medical Genetics in clinical cytogenetics and clinical molecular genetics. He received his medical degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), Mexico, D.F. He served his social service in biochemical genetics at the Institute for Biomedical Research (UNAM). He was co-founder and medical director of the private Institute of Genetics, Metabolism, and Reproduction in Mexico City and completed two fellowships in clinical cytogenetics and clinical molecular genetics at the Center for Human Genetics at Boston University Medical Center. He is a founding fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics.
Barbara Rowland is the Director of Operations for the Quest Diagnostics Laboratory in Lenexa, Kansas. Ms. Rowland serves as one of the Responsible Person's of Quest Diagnostics SAMSHA certified drug testing laboratory.
Ms. Rowland serves as a laboratory inspector for the National Laboratory Certification Program and the College of American Pathologists' Forensic Urine Drug Testing Program. She is a member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences and the Society of Forensic Toxicologists, the Society of Forensic Toxicologists, and a past president of the Midwest Association for Toxicology and Therapeutic Drug Monitoring. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from the University of Tennessee and her Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Memphis.

Brian Brunelli is the Regional Operations Director of the Quest Diagnostics forensic toxicology laboratory located in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Brunelli is responsible for the day-to-day management of all oral fluid, hair and urine drug-testing services. Dr. Hamdan received her Ph.D. degree in microbiology from Washington State University and completed postdoctoral training in molecular biology at the University of California, Riverside, and at the University of Southern California School of Medicine. She joined Quest Diagnostics Nichols Institute as a Research Scientist and progressed to R&D Manager before assuming her current role of Scientifi c Director.
Dr. Presley is the lab director for toxicology. As such, Dr. Presley serves as a Responsible Person for the Lenexa, Kansas drug-testing laboratory. Dr. Presley also directs the oral fluid drug-testing program. He serves as a laboratory inspector for the National laboratory Certification Program and the College of American Pathologists' Forensic Urine Drug Testing Program. He is a member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences and the Society of Forensic Toxicologists. Dr. Presley served on the Organizing Committee for the New York Academy of Science 2006 Oral-Based Diagnostics Conference. Dr. Presley has many publications in the field of forensic toxicology with the most recent focused on drugs of abuse in oral fluid. Dr. Presley received his Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in chemistry from Mississippi College and his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Southern Mississippi. Since graduation, he has worked in the field of forensic toxicology, becoming certified as a Diplomat in Forensic Toxicology by the American Board of Forensic Toxicology.
Area of Expertise: Oral Fluid Testing and GCMS
Dr. Abbott is the Director of Laboratory Operations and National Standards. He has overall operational responsibility of the Employer Solutions laboratory in Atlanta. He also has the responsibility for driving standardization in processes and technology throughout our national network of Forensic Laboratories.
Dr. Abbott received a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry from Herbert H. Lehman College in Bronx, New York; a master's degree in chemistry from Youngstown State University; and, in 1983, a doctorate degree in pathology from The Ohio State University. In 1985, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship in clinical chemistry and toxicology at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Since 1985, Dr. Abbott has served as a faculty member at West Virginia University School of Medicine and has held senior corporate positions in lab operations and forensic toxicology at Quest Diagnostics and its predecessor companies.

Mary Cirillo-Goldberg, 61, has served on our board of directors since December 2002, and served as lead director from May 2005 to April 2006. Since September 2003, Ms. Cirillo-Goldberg has served as an advisor to Hudson Venture Partners, L.P., a venture capital fund. Ms. Cirillo-Goldberg served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of OPCENTER, LLC, a privately held company that provides help desk, e-commerce and network operations services, from March 2000 to September 2003. From June 1997 through March 2000, she served as Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Bankers Trust Corporation. Ms. Cirillo-Goldberg currently serves as a director of three other public companies: ACE Limited, Health Care Property Investors, Inc. and Thomson Reuters Corporation.
