Mr. Hoffmann is President of the merchant banking group of Brompton. He joined the Brompton Group of companies in 2004 and participates in the direction of all activities of the group. From 1989 to 2004 Mr. Hoffmann was a partner at McCarthy Tetrault, (a national Canadian law firm). From 1987 to 1989 Mr. Hoffmann was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Granite Street Inc., a private investment and holding company. From 1980 to 1987 Mr. Hoffmann was a partner at Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer (a Calgary law firm). Mr. Hoffmann is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and received a Bachelor of Laws from McGill University, a Master of Science from University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Science from McGill University.
