As president of Grant Medical Center, Ms. Connors is responsible for day-to-day operations for Grant and its affiliated work areas. Ms. Connors has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare. Prior to joining Grant in 2006, she was president and chief executive officer of St. Anne Mercy Hospital, formerly Riverside Mercy Hospital, in Toledo, Ohio. In that role, she oversaw the construction and successful launch of a new hospital (St. Anne Mercy Hospital) and wind-down/relocation of Riverside Mercy Hospital in 2002. During her tenure, the medical staff membership increased by 248 physicians. Ms. Connors was a respected member of the Toledo healthcare community and has been praised as a creative leader and effective motivator. From 1994 to 1997 she was vice president, NorthCoast Affiliates, Inc., for Medical Mutual of Ohio/Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Ohio. In addition, she served as vice president of Riverside Health Group in Toledo from 1987 to 1994. A diplomate in the American College of Healthcare Executives, Ms. Connors has both a bachelor's degree and master's degree in business administration from the University of Toledo.

COLUMBUS, Ohio Mark S. Brown, MD, was elected president of Grant Medical Center's Medical Staff and will serve in this position until January 2006. In this position, he will work toward strengthening collaborations between the medical staff and hospital and ensure quality of care. Dr. Brown, who joined Grant's Medical Staff in 1987, serves on various hospital committees including the Medical Executive Committee, the Women's HeartAdvantage Advisory Committee and the Performance Improvement Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of OhioHealth and the Board of Directors of the OhioHealth Foundation. A graduate of Case Western Reserve University, Dr. Brown received his doctor of medicine degree from The Ohio State University and completed internship and residency training at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Mike Reichfield was named president of Doctors Hospital in November of 2007. Mike has demonstrated outstanding leadership in physician recruitment and outreach, with more than 20 years in various leadership positions in Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York. Prior to joining Doctors, Mr. Reichfield served as chief executive officer for the newly created health system, Affinity Medical Center in Massillon, Ohio. Affinity is the successful merger of two community hospitals, Massillon Community Hospital and Doctors Hospital of Stark County, into one regional health system. Previous to the merger he served as president of Massillon Community Hospital. There he implemented a financial turn-around for the hospital and recruited and retained a strong medical staff. Mr. Reichfield also achieved high patient satisfaction scores in all areas, including the Emergency Department that received the Press Ganey Summit Award for top fifth percentile of satisfaction for three consecutive years. Reichfield received his master's degree in health administration from The Ohio State University and his bachelor's degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook in Stony Brook, New York.

Frank T. Pandora II, Esq. is currently the Senior Vice President & General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of OhioHealth. Mr. Pandora received his undergraduate degree from Gannon College and his Juris Doctor from University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He is admitted to practice before the Ohio Bar, the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and the US Court of Military Appeals in Washington, D.C. He served four years as a US Army Captain and Judge Advocate Officer at the Army Aviation and Aeromedical Center where he was the Prosecutor for Ft. Rucker and counsel to the US Lyster Army Hospital in Alabama. After leaving the service Mr. Pandora was an associate in a firm engaged in the practice of business, corporate, banking and municipal law in Lucas and Wood County, Ohio. He left the private practice of law in 1979 to join Riverside as its first inside attorney. Mr. Pandora was one of the key executives who first created the US Health System, now known as the OhioHealth system. He has been the Chief Legal Officer of OhioHealth since mid-1980.

Michael Krouse was named system vice president and chief information officer for OhioHealth in March 2007. In this role he is responsible for providing leadership, vision and oversight for information systems and technology with overall responsibility for direction, coordination and management of all IS/IT business and clinical functions. As the key executive for information systems and technology, Mr. Krouse is responsible for leading and implementing business strategies to align the Information Services Department with organizational goals and to meet the challenges of the changing healthcare environment. With more than 19 years of experience managing, leading and advising healthcare organizations in areas of advanced information technology, leadership development and financial and strategic planning, Mr. Krouse has successfully led the implementation of numerous advanced technology solutions and has a broad interest in all aspects of healthcare administration. Prior to joining OhioHealth, he was founder and president of KH Consulting, a professional services firm in Woodinille, Washington, providing strategic planning, leadership development, information management and interim senior executive support services. Mr. Krouse has also been in leadership positions with Northwest Hospital and Medical Center in Seattle; First Consulting Group, Inc. in Long Beach, California; and Ernst & Young in Seattle. Completing studies at Washington State University and the University of Washington, Mr. Krouse is an experienced speaker and author of articles on IT trends and technology. He is currently writing a book on leadership development. He and his wife have two children.

Sue Jablonski was named senior vice president and chief communications officer at OhioHealth in September 2008. In this role, she is responsible for a broad range of communications initiatives including marketing, internal and external communications, physician communications, creative strategy and media relations. Ms. Jablonski's previous experience includes 17 years at The Ohio State University Medical Center where she was chief communications officer and associate vice president. Prior to joining Ohio State, Ms. Jablonski held communication positions with The Toledo Hospital, Hewitt Associates and Owens Corning Fiberglas. She maintains many professional and community affiliations including the Public Relations Society of America, the American Hospital Association's Society for Health Care Strategy and Market Development, the American Marketing Association, and WOSU Radio Advisory Panel. Ms. Jablonski has earned numerous local, regional and national awards from such organizations as Medical Marketing Association, Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development, Healthcare Marketing Report, and the Public Relations Society of America. She was recognized by The Ohio State University with a Distinguished Staff Award and in 2007, she was a finalist for PR Professional of the Year: Academic Institutions from PR News. Ms. Jablonski has a bachelor's degree from the University of Toledo.

As system vice president, Supply Chain Services at OhioHealth, Robinson has leadership accountability for establishing the supply chain as a strategic asset within OhioHealth and also has responsibility for Accounts Payable, Clinical Engineering and Imaging Engineering. Previously, Robinson worked for VHA/Novation for four years where his responsibilities included offering customized supply chain solutions for several large alliance members in the Member Partnership Program. Robinson also led supply chain operations at Cedars-Sinai Health System in Los Angeles and served as the System Director of Materials Management at the Samaritan Health System in Phoenix, Arizona (now part of Banner Health). Among other recognitions, Robinson was named to the 2006 "Ten People to Watch" list of the Journal of Healthcare Contracting and received two VHA Leadership Awards in Improving Supply Chain Management.

Teri has managed public and media relations, community education and communications at Grady Memorial Hospital since 1994. She has been in healthcare communications since 1978 including serving as the National Media Representative for American Heart Association in Dallas, Texas, where she organized National Science Writers Forums, National News Conferences on CPR Standards, and Press Room operations for AHA Scientific Sessions. She holds a BS in Mass Communications from Miami University (Ohio) where she also worked ON AIR at WMUB radio station.

Dr. Jeffrey Strakowski completed his undergraduate studies at Indiana University and received his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He did his Residency at The Ohio State University in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Strakowski is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and has subspecialty certifications in Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Pain Management and Spinal Cord Injury Medicine. His areas of interest include electrodiagnostic medicine, rehabilitation, musculoskeletal and sports medicine and musculoskeletal ultrasound. Dr. Strakowski sees patients at the McConnell Spine Sport & Joint Center and also at Physical Medicine Associates at Riverside.

Dr. Mark Cripe, a breast surgeon at Doctors, said the new technology will mainly benefit premenopausal women because they typically have more-dense breasts. Abnormalities that are harder to detect because of the denseness can be spotted more clearly with the new technology.

Dr. Michael Jennings is Director of Anticoagulation Services at the McConnell Center . The McConnell Center is central Ohio 's largest care provider of patients who are on anticoagulation medication. Dr. Jennings also performs exercise stress tests for our programs. Dr. Jennings is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology. He attended Case Western Reserve Medical School in Cleveland and did his medical internship, residency and fellowships at Harvard Medical School-affiliated hospitals in Boston.

Dr. Ruth Goldberg is a clinical psychologist at the McConnell Center and is on the medical staff at Riverside Methodist Hospital . Her behavioral health services include psychotherapy and counseling for individuals, couples and groups. She also teaches educational classes on topics such as emotions and overeating, attitudes that promote lifestyle change, and depression.

Michael J. Endres is a managing principal of Stonehenge Financial Holdings, Inc., a private equity firm that he co-founded in 1999. Prior to joining Stonehenge, Mr. Endres was vice chairman of Banc One Capital Holdings Corporation and chairman of Banc One Capital Partners. Mr. Endres serves as a director of Huntington Bancshares, Inc., Worthington Industries and ProCentury Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Steve Garlock was named president of Grady Memorial Hospital in August 2005. In this role, Mr. Garlock is responsible for system strategy in the Delaware County market and directs the day-to-day operations of the hospital. As a relatively new member of the OhioHealth system, Grady is part of the central Ohio operation, which includes Riverside Methodist Hospital, Grant Medical Center, Doctors Hospital and Dublin Methodist Hospital. Prior to being named president of Grady, Mr. Garlock was OhioHealth's senior vice president for Regional Operations and System Development since June 2002. In this role, he was responsible for operations at all member hospitals outside central Ohio - Hardin Memorial Hospital, Marion General Hospital, Southern Ohio Medical Center and Doctors Hospital Nelsonville - while continuing his role as liaison for Galion Community Hospital, Genesis Healthcare System, Grady Memorial Hospital, O'Bleness Memorial Hospital and Samaritan Regional Health System. Mr. Garlock joined the system in 1983 as vice president of Corporate Development at Riverside Methodist Hospitals. He has also served as senior vice president for Managed Care for OhioHealth and was senior vice president for System Development. In that role he was responsible for acquisitions, affiliation relationships and joint ventures with health systems, hospitals, physicians, post-acute and home care providers. His previous experience included three years as director of Marketing at Riverside Hospital in Toledo. Mr. Garlock received a bachelor's degree in microbiology from The Ohio State University and a master's degree in business administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati. He is a board member of the Health Strategy Institute; past board member and president of the American Hospital Association Society for Healthcare Planning and Marketing; a member of the Ohio Hospital Association Society for Healthcare Planning and Marketing, and a member of the Alliance for Healthcare Strategy & Marketing. For nine years Mr. Garlock served on the editorial review board for the Journal of Healthcare Marketing. Active in community affairs, he is chairman of the United Way of Delaware County, chair-elect of the Delaware Area Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Delaware Community Improvement Corporation Board of Directors. He previously served as a member of the Westerville, Ohio City Planning Commission and a past board member and president of the Alzheimer's Association of Central Ohio.
