Arthur H. Conley, M.D. is a 1990 graduate of the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. A general surgery internship was completed in 1991 at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. An orthopedic surgery residency followed at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center, Cook County Hospital, Shriners' Hospital for Crippled Children and Christ Hospital and Trauma Center from 1991-1995. Dr. Conley pursued additional fellowships in spine surgery and pediatric orthopedic research at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center and Shriners' Hospital for Crippled Children from 1995-1996. Dr. Conley served as consultant to the Office of Workers' Compensation Programs, U.S. Department of Labor and as district medical advisor from 1994-1996. From 1996-1999, he was an attending staff orthopedist specializing in spine surgery at David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base, California. Dr. Conley was established in private practice in 1999 as attending staff orthopedist at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital in Grass Valley, California. Dr. Conley joined Oklahoma Sports Science and Orthopaedics in July 2000. He is board certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and specializes in spinal reconstructive surgery. Dr. Conley holds professional memberships in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, North American Spine Society, American Medical Association, and the Oklahoma State Medical Association.
Dr. Northcutt is a native Oklahoman and received his medical training from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 1992. He completed his residency at OU in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation in 1997. Dr. Northcutt completed The Rocky Mountain Sports Medicine Fellowship at The Orthopedic Associates of Aspen and Glenwood in Aspen, Colorado in 1998. Dr. Northcutt has been in practice in Edmond since 2000 and will continue to see patients at his current address at 105 South Bryant, Suite 410 in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Dr. Emily Friedman is a native of Hackensack, New Jersey. She pursued undergraduate education at Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1978; received a Doctor of Medicine degree from Georgetown University College of Medicine in 1981. A general surgery internship followed at the University of Minnesota. A residency was completed at the Neurological Institute of New York, Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center where she served as chief resident in neurological surgery. Dr. Friedman received faculty appointments as assistant professor of neurological surgery at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University, New York, 1998, and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine from 1989 to 1992. A private practice was established in Oklahoma City, in 1995, with Pinnacle Neurocare, Inc., specializing in neurological surgery. Dr. Friedman affiliated with The Physicians' Group in 2000. She is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, holding membership in the American Medical Association, The New York Academy of Sciences, The Congress of Neurological Surgeons and The American Association of Nuerological Surgeons.
G. David Casper, M.D. completed a course of pre-medical studies at the University of Oklahoma in 1968. He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 1972. An internship was completed at Maricopa County General Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, followed by an orthopaedic residency completed in 1977. Dr. Casper established a private orthopaedic practice in Oklahoma City in 1977, merging his practice with Oklahoma Sports Science and Orthopaedics in 1999. Dr. Casper is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon, and a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery. His primary interests are minimally invasive spinal surgery, disc replacement, and total joint replacement. Dr. Casper is very active in the academic and scientific community. He serves on the Board of Regents for OCCC and is on the board of directors for the Foundation of the Oklahoma Medical Society. Dr. Casper is the past president of the International Intradiscal Therapy Society and Mid-Central States Orthopaedic Society. He holds membership in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, International Society of Laser Surgery and Medicine, Orthopaedic Laser Society, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, Inc., North American Spine Society, International Musculoskeletal Laser Society, International Intradiscal Therapy Society, International Society of Minimally Invasive Surgery, American Medical Association, Oklahoma State Medical Association and the Oklahoma Orthopaedic Society. Dr. Casper has published numerous scientific and clinical articles in peer reviewed journals, and presented his research at scientific meetings around the world. Dr. Casper is recognized internationally for his research in minimally invasive surgical approaches for lumbar disc disease. He was among the first surgeons, nationally to utilize endoscopic approaches and laser energy in orthopaedic surgery, and is involved in the training of surgeons in these approaches on a national and international level. Dr. Casper is also a principal investigator for research examining disc replacement and endoscopic fusion approaches as surgical alternatives to traditional spinal fusion.
Dr. Gregory Zeiders, D.O. attend Oklahoma State College of Osteopathic Surgery where he received his medical degree, in 1999. Dr. Zeiders trained and completed his residency through the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Zeiders went on to complete a fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma with the Allegheny General Hospital, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Zeiders is board eligible and certified to practice by the Oklahoma State Board of Osteopathic Examiners as an Osteopathic physician and surgeon. Doctor Zeiders spent time in Australia, completing a fellowship for Taylor Spatial Frame and Ilizarov. He is one of the few physicians in the state practicing Taylor Spatial Frames and Ilizarov. Ilizarov is a highly developed orthopedic procedure. The Ilizarov generates new bone growth under tightly controlled tension. Developed during World War II by a Russian physician in western Siberia, this procedure allows patients new hope for the diagnosis of debilitating bone conditions. The Ilizarov procedure is used today to correct countless problems resulting from congenital deformities (clubfoot, limb length discrepancies), traumatic injuries and loss of limb and fingers. Hal David Martin, DO graduated from Oklahoma State University School of Osteopathic Medicine in 1986, and began his training at Doctors Hospital, Ohio University, in Columbus. He returned to Oklahoma in 1991 to establish private practice in Enid. Dr. Martin completed a fellowship and instructorship in sports medicine, hip arthroscopy and hip disorders at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). He continues to serve in academics at UPMC as an assistant professor and adjunct faculty member. Dr. Martin relocated to Oklahoma City and affiliated with Oklahoma Sports Science and Orthopaedics in 2003. He is certified by the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, and holds membership in the American Medical Association, The American Osteopathic Association, the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association, and the Oklahoma State Medical Association.

J. Keith Gannaway, M.D. attended the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine where he received his degree in 1979. Dr. Gannaway completed a four year residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He served in the United States Air Force at the 836 Air Division Hospital in Tucson, Arizona, and established private practice upon returning to Oklahoma City in 1988. Dr. Gannaway joined Oklahoma Sports Science and Orthopaedics in 2003. He is a board certified orthopedic surgeon and specializes in joint, shoulder, and knee reconstruction. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Oklahoma State Orthopedic Society, the Oklahoma State Medical Society, and the American Medical Association.
The Physicians' Group (TPG) announces the association of Paul Francel, M.D., Ph.D. Dr. Francel offices at 10001 S. Western in Oklahoma City, and 1616 S. Kelly in Edmond. He is board certified neurosurgeon. Dr. Francel trained at Harvard University and the University of Chicago-Pritzker.
