"Randall A. Lipps founded Omnicell in September 1992 and serves as the company's chairman, president and chief executive officer. From the company's founding until October 2002, Mr. Lipps was chairman of the board of directors. He assumed the additional role of president and chief executive officer in October 2002 and has provided the leadership for Omnicell's business expansion. Since taking on the day-to-day operations of the company, Mr. Lipps has brought in a well-known Silicon Valley management team and has focused the company on growth and technology leadership. "Rob Seim, vice president, finance and chief financial officer, joined Omnicell in January 2006. Mr. Seim began his business career in 1982 with IBM, serving in a variety of financial positions at three divisions over the course of 14 years. From 1996 through 1999, he held a number of senior financial management positions at Bay Networks, which was acquired by Nortel Networks in September 1998. From 1999 until joining Omnicell, Mr. Seim served as CFO of three early-stage technology companies, including Villa Montage Systems, a provider of residential broadband access management systems that he co-founded in 1999, Candera, a maker of network-based storage controllers, and most recently, Mirra, a vendor of personal backup servers which was acquired by Seagate. Marga Ortigas-Wedekind, vice president marketing, joined Omnicell in January of 2009. From February 2002 until October 2008, Ms. Ortigas-Wedekind was the SVP Marketing, Development, and Clinical Affairs of Xoft, Inc., a medical device startup in electronic brachytherapy used in the radiation treatment of cancer patients. Mary E. Foley, age 56, has served as a Director of Omnicell since May 2005. Since 2004, Ms. Foley has also served as Vice President of the American Nurses Association.
