Carol Bartz is the chief executive officer and a director of Yahoo!. Previously, Bartz served as executive chairman of the board of Autodesk, Inc. In April, 2006, she stepped down as chairman, president and CEO of Autodesk after 14 years with the company. During her tenure, the company diversified its product line and grew revenues from $285 million to $1.523 billion in FY06.

Aristotle "Ari" Balogh is currently executive vice president of Products & Chief Technology Officer. In this role he leads the company's Products organization, which is responsible for the vision, strategy, design and development of Yahoo!'s global consumer and advertiser product portfolio. Previously, Balogh held the role of CTO at Yahoo! and was responsible for company-wide technology development, including infrastructure, engineering, research & development, and ensuring the quality of Yahoo!'s product and service delivery.
Prior to Yahoo!, Balogh was Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer and Head of Global Product Development for VeriSign, Inc., where he led all internal and external technology functions. During his nearly ten years at VeriSign, he held numerous technology leadership positions that focused on aligning technical execution with business priorities, driving product strategy, and improving the speed of innovation and quality across the entire lifecycle of service creation and delivery. In 2007, he was recognized by Infoworld as one of the top 25 CTOs in the industry. Prior to joining Verisign, Balogh held leadership positions at SRA Corporation and Roadnet Technologies.

David Filo, a native of Moss Bluff, La., co-created the Yahoo! Internet navigational guide in April 1994 with Jerry Yang and co-founded Yahoo! Inc. in April 1995. Filo serves as a key technologist, directing the technical operations behind the company's global network of Web properties. He is credited with helping build Yahoo! into the world's most highly trafficked Web site and one of the Internet's most recognized brands. David Windley, the leader of Yahoo!'s global HR team, is responsible for driving Yahoo!'s worldwide strategies around talent, culture and organization effectiveness. The HR team designs and implements programs to attract, develop, and engage talent, and facilitate the building of high performing organizations. Yahoo! has been listed among Fortune Magazine's 100 Best Companies to Work. Prior to his current position, David was Vice President of Human Resources and led the Yahoo! line HR team that supported the business organizations.
David's extensive experience in the high tech industry includes executive positions at Microsoft, Intuit, and Silicon Graphics (SGI). As an HR executive at Microsoft, he supported the Chief Operating Officer. Jerry Yang, a Taiwanese native raised in San Jose, Calif., co-created the Yahoo! Internet navigational guide in April 1994 with David Filo and co-founded Yahoo! Inc. in April 1995. He served as chief executive officer of the company from June 2007 to January 2009.

Raghu Ramakrishnan is Chief Scientist for Audience, and Research Fellow at Yahoo! Research, where he heads the Community Systems group.
He has been Professor of Computer Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and was founder and CTO of QUIQ, a company that pioneered question-answering communities, powering Ask Jeeves' AnswerPoint as well as customer-support for companies such as Compaq.
His research is in the area of database systems, with a focus on data mining, online communities, and web-scale data management.
He has developed scalable algorithms for clustering, decision-tree construction, and itemset counting, and was among the first to investigate mining of continuously evolving, stream data.
His work on query optimization and deductive databases has found its way into commercial database systems, and his work on extending SQL to deal with queries over sequences has influenced the design of window functions in SQL:1999.
His paper on the Birch clustering algorithm received the SIGMOD 10-Year Test-of-Time award, and he has written the widely-used text "Database Management Systems" (WCB / McGraw-Hill, with J. Gehrke), now in its third edition.
He is Chair of ACM SIGMOD, on the Board of Directors of ACM SIGKDD and the Board of Trustees of the VLDB Endowment, and has served as editor-in-chief of the Journal of Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery, associate editor of ACM Transactions on Database Systems, and the Database area editor of the Journal of Logic Programming.
Raghu is a Fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), and has received several awards, including a Distinguished Alumnus Award from IIT Madras, a Packard Foundation Fellowship, an NSF Presidential Young Investigator Award, and an ACM SIGMOD Contributions Award.

Andrei Broder is a Fellow and Vice President for Search & Computational Advertising in Yahoo! Research. He also serves as Chief Scientist of Yahoo’s Advertising Technology Group. Previously he was an IBM Distinguished Engineer and the CTO of the Institute for Search and Text Analysis in IBM Research.
From 1999 until 2002 he was Vice President for Research and Chief Scientist at the AltaVista Company. He graduated Summa cum Laude from Technion, the Israeli Institute of Technology, and obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Computer Science at Stanford University under Don Knuth. His current research interests are centered on computational advertising, web search, context-driven information supply, and randomized algorithms.
Broder is co-winner of the Best Paper award at WWW6 (for his work on duplicate elimination of web pages) and at WWW9 (for his work on mapping the web). He has authored more than eighty papers and was awarded twenty-five patents. He is an ACM Fellow, an IEEE fellow, and past chair of the IEEE Technical Committee on Mathematical Foundations of Computing.

Jeff Dossett is the Senior Vice President for U.S. Audience at Yahoo! where he oversees Yahoo!’s consumer experiences in the U.S. He was formerly executive producer and general manager for the MSN media network in the United States. Jeff joined Microsoft in 1991 and had served in a variety of senior sales and marketing roles including general manager of Microsoft’s Canadian subsidiary and as Chairman & CEO of MSN Carpoint (now MSN Autos), DealerPoint and general manager of MSN HomeAdvisor (now MSN Real Estate & MSN Lifestyle). In 2002, Jeff took two years away from his career at Microsoft to pursue his passion for adventure with a goal to climb the highest mountain on each of the seven continents, known as the “Seven Summits”. Reaching the summit of Mount Everest on May 24, 2004, Jeff became the third Canadian in history to successfully complete the Seven Summits. Ron Brachman is Vice President of Worldwide Research Operations for Yahoo! Research. He is responsible for all operational activities that support Yahoo! Research, including budget, Research/business unit relationships, IP, academic outreach, website operations, and the Research Engineering function. He is also now engaged in the creation and leadership of a corporate-wide Academic Relations unit. Ron joined Yahoo! in 2005. He was one of the original leaders who helped to define and build Yahoo! Adam Chandler is responsible for the development and implementation of Yahoo!’s U.S. Hispanic sales strategy. Additionally, he oversees the national sales program of Yahoo! Telemundo, a joint venture formed by Yahoo! en español and Telemundo.com to deliver the best online and broadcast media content to users and advertisers alike.
Prior to his position as Director, U.S. Sales, for Yahoo! Telemundo, Chandler was responsible for expanding the roster of telecom and technology clients marketing their products and services digitally on Yahoo!. Among his accomplishments are the development of sales relationships with companies such as Frito Lay, Intel, Cingular, Panasonic, Qwest and Samsung. Before joining Yahoo!, Chandler was part of the team that helped integrate interactive sales at Primedia after its acquisition of About.com. He also spent a number of years honing his skills in integrated media at NBC Internet and Reuben H. Donnelly.
Chandler’s experience in digital and integrated sales also includes the management of his own small digital agency and a stint teaching digital media at the New School University in New York. Most recently, he taught a course on social networking on behalf of the Advertising Club of New York and Yahoo!.
Chandler currently serves as the Interactive Program Chair of the New York Advertising Club, and is in charge of the club’s annual “Creative Works” event, held in partnership with Yahoo!.

Michael founded Right Media in 2003. He was CEO of the company before its acquisition by Yahoo! in July 2007.
Guiding and following through on Right Media's vision to create a more open, fair environment for online advertising, Mike helped to transform the industry and introduce a new sector: the exchange marketplace. The Right Media Exchange's 145+ members-advertisers, publishers, networks and technology providers-have an equal opportunity to connect directly to new partners, trade more efficiently and bring a new level of control to their businesses.
Mike had a successful career at DoubleClick (and later MaxWorldwide) where he was director of direct marketing and SVP of strategy and development. In 2001, he was responsible for the creation of DoubleClick Direct, the company's direct marketing offering.
Mike was awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2007. He spends his non-business time enjoying his family and an occasional golf game. He has a B.A. in English from the University of Richmond.

Prabhakar Raghavan has been the head of Yahoo! Research since 2005. His research interests include text and web mining, and algorithm design. He is a consulting professor of Computer Science at Stanford University and editor-in-chief of the Journal of the ACM. Prior to joining Yahoo!, he was the chief technology officer at Verity and has held a number of technical and managerial positions at IBM Research. Prabhakar received his PhD from Berkeley and is a fellow of the ACM and of the IEEE.

Maggie Wilderotter became Chairman and CEO of Frontier Communications on January 1, 2006. She joined the company on November 1, 2004, as President and Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors. Before this, Ms. Wilderotter was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Public Sector at Microsoft, responsible for strengthening customer and partner outreach in the government and education markets, as well as working across Microsoft's business divisions to develop and coordinate forward-looking strategies.
Previously, Ms. Wilderotter was President and Chief Executive Officer of Wink Communications Inc., where she led efforts to develop low-cost, end-to-end e-commerce systems to enable advertisers, merchants, and broadcast and cable networks to create interactive enhancements for traditional television advertisements and programs. Before joining Wink Communications, Ms. Wilderotter was the Executive Vice President of National Operations for AT&T Wireless Services Inc. and Chief Executive Officer of AT&T's Aviation Communications Division. She also served as Senior Vice President of McCaw Cellular Communications Inc. and was a Regional President managing the company's California, Nevada, and Hawaii Region.
Ms. Wilderotter serves on the boards of Yahoo! Inc., Xerox Corporation and Tribune Company and on the boards of a number of non-profit organizations.
Ms. Wilderotter holds a bachelor's degree in economics and business administration from Holy Cross College.

Vyomesh (VJ) Joshi is executive vice president of the Imaging and Printing Group (IPG) at HP. IPG is a $29 billion annual revenue business that encompasses inkjet, LaserJet and commercial printing, printing supplies, digital photography, entertainment, graphics and managed services.
In the last seven years under VJ’s leadership, IPG has grown revenue from $19 billion to $29 billion and doubled its operating profit to more than $4 billion. VJ spearheads HP’s drive to become not merely the world’s premier printer company, but the world’s premier printing company.
HP has been the worldwide market leader in printing since introducing its first inkjet and LaserJet printers in 1984. The company has sold more than 400 million inkjet printers since then and, in 2006, shipped its 100 millionth LaserJet printer. HP’s imaging and printing intellectual property portfolio includes more than 12,500 patents worldwide.
VJ joined HP in 1980 as a research and development engineer and has held various leadership positions. He holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Ohio State University. VJ has been a member of the Yahoo! board of directors since 2005.
