Mr. Rademaekers joined StayWell in 1998. He assumed his present role with the Electronic Solutions Group in March 2004. He developed the original online versions of several of the databases that appear on StayWell. Prior to joining StayWell, Mr. Rademaekers was a newspaper editor and online news executive.

StayWell's Editorial Director; is responsible for overseeing editorial operations for six publications and developing new print products. She edits three publications and writes most of the behavior change copy, as well as other health and wellness articles for print and online. In 1999, she received the Times Mirror editor of the year award. Prior to joining StayWell, she worked in textbook publishing. She also worked in nutrition research teaching nutrition classes, editing manuals and coordinating research studies.

Gerald Brandon is Director of Material Management at Onslow Memorial Hospital. He is a member of Infant of Prague Catholic Church and Deputy Grand Knight of Council 3574, Knights of Columbus. This is Gerald's first year as a member of the Board of Directors. He looks forward to working with the Board to help Ministries progress in it's service to the citizens for Onslow County.

Dr. Chang was an editor with Harvard Health Publications for the Harvard faculty-reviewed consumer Web site InteliHealth. She graduated from Harvard University, magna cum laude, in 1991 and from Yale Medical School, cum laude, in 1995.

Dr. McDonough is associate director of the Saint Francis Hospital Family Practice Residency Program in Wilmington, Del., and clinical professor of family medicine and community health at the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He maintains an active practice. Dr. McDonough has been medical editor for Fox television in Philadelphia since 1989, and his radio reports are syndicated on more than 750 radio stations. He has won numerous broadcasting awards, including four Emmys, The Sword of Hope Award, The Jules Bergman Award, The American Academy of Pediatrics National Recognition Award, and The Sir William Osler Award. He is a former president of the National Association of Physician Broadcasters. Dr. McDonough has written three books, as well as numerous articles in his specialty. He has worked with StayWell Custom Communications for over a decade.

Dr. Dezube is Associate Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School and Associate Director for Cancer Clinical Trials at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). He is a prominent investigator in the fields of cancer and AIDS. He played a key role in the pivotal trials and the development of liposomal doxorubicin. He established the AIDS Oncology subunit at BIDMC, a major teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School . Dr. Dezube is the national chair of two NIH protocols investigating the use of an MMP inhibitor and an angiogenesis inhibitor in Kaposi sarcoma. He has delivered over 200 lectures and seminars locally, nationally and internationally on topics pertaining to his area of focus.

Ms. Godsey is a certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C), and has over 28 years of health care experience in patient care, public health administration, and medical informatics.

Dr. Fischer is a graduate of Harvard Medical School. He is board certified in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology. He is currently clinical professor of medicine at Yale School of Medicine, where he is chair of the membership committee of the Yale Comprehensive Cancer Center, vice chair of Yale New Haven Hospital Cancer Committee, chair of the Transfusion Committee and a member of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. He is the senior editor of Cancer Therapy, The Follow-up of Cancer, 4th edition, and the senior author of The Cancer Chemotherapy Handbook , now in its 6th edition.

Debra Shaw-Davis received her BS in Zoology from Iowa State University in 1976 and a Certificate in Physical Therapy from Mayo Clinic in 1978. She completed her post-graduate work at the Institute of Health Professions, Boston, MA with an advanced masters in orthopedic and sports in 1995 and a doctor's in physical therapy in 2003. Her thesis work was on patellofemoral dysfunction. She had her board certification as a Orthopedic Clinical Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Dr. Shaw-Davis is a senior physical therapist at Massachusetts General Hospital in outpatient orthopedics. She has worked as a lab instructor at the Institute of Health Professions at both the graduate and post-graduate level.

Edgar Savidge received his BS in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University in 1998, a Master of Science in Physical Therapy and Doctor of Physical Therapy from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2001 and 2003 respectively. He currently works as a staff physical therapist at Massachusetts General Hospital in outpatient orthopedics with a strong clinical interest in shoulder and lower extremity dysfunction. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Sports Physical Therapy Section.

Dr. Dwyer is director of the Frances Stern Nutrition Center at Tufts-New England Medical Center Hospitals in Boston. She is a professor of medicine (nutrition) and community health at the Tufts University Schools of Medicine and Nutrition, and the senior scientist at the Jean Mayer USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts. She is an adjunct professor at the Harvard School of Public Health. She served in 2001-2002 as assistant administrator for human nutrition in the Agricultural Research Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and in 2000 on the Dietary Guidelines for Americans Committee. She is a member of the Institute of Medicine, National Academy of Sciences, and served for more than 10 years on the Food and Nutrition board. One of the nation's most respected nutritionists, she is the author or co-author of more than 180 research and 280 review articles published in scientific journals. Dr. Dwyer's resume includes numerous other professional groups, honors and awards. A registered dietitian, she received the American Dietetic Association's Medallion Award in 2002. She is a past president of the Society for Nutrition Education and the American Institute of Nutrition (now the American Society for Nutrition).

Dr. Gonnella is dean emeritus and distinguished professor of medicine at the Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He is the founder and director of the college's Center for Research in Medical Education and Health Care. Dr. Gonnella has been awarded the Commendatore dell'Ordine della Stella della Solidarieta Italiana and the Grande Ufficiale by the president of Italy; the Dongbaeg Medal by the president of Korea; the Presidential Medal by Dartmouth College; and the Presidential Citation by Thomas Jefferson University. He has received honorary doctor of medicine degrees from the University of Chieti, Italy, SoonChunHyang University in Seoul, Korea, and Widener University in Philadelphia. Dr. Gonnella was elected to fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians in Edinburgh in 2001. His research has focused on the relationships between knowledge, capabilities, and clinical performance.

Dr. Hammersmith joined Corneal Associates in September of 2003 after finishing a year of corneal fellowship here. Dr. Hammersmith says, "I found that I enjoy anterior segment surgery, especially the opportunity to consistently and dramatically make a positive impact on patients' lives. The specialty also allows for the development of long-term relationships with patients, the best part of medicine." She is excited to be here at Wills as an active part of the teaching program. She is the director of the Wills Eye Institute Cornea Fellowship Program and teaches the residents in the Wills Eye Institute Residency Program. Her research interests include the study of severe ocular surface diseases such as dry eye, blepharitis, ocular cicatricial pemphigoid, and recurrent erosions. She is one of a few doctors nationwide involved in treating severe ocular surface disease with the artificial cornea transplant, Boston K-Pro. In addition, she has a special interest in corneal disease in children. Dr. Hammersmith is married and lives in Center City Philadelphia. Her husband, Doug, works for the Campbell's Soup Company.

Kyle Rodenhi received his BS in Allied Health Pre-Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut in 1999 and his MS from the University of Connecticutin 2001. He has worked in out-patient orthopedics for five years and has been astaff physical therapist at Massachusetts General Hospital for 2 years. He is also an APTA certifiedclinical instructor and serves as a teaching assistant at the MGH Institute ofHealth Professions.

Matthew Travers received his BS in science in 1998, followed by MS in physical therapy in 1999 from Springfield College. He currently works as an outpatient physical therapist at the Massachusetts General Hospital. His clinical interest is in orthopaedics and sports with an emphasis on the shoulder.

Dr. Ryan is assistant professor of rhinology and sinus surgery, general otolaryngology at the University of Texas, Medical Branch, Galveston. Dr. Ryan attended medical school at UTMB and graduated with high honors. He completed a surgical internship at the Medical University of South Carolina, followed by residency training in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the University of Florida. Dr. Ryan's clinical practice focuses on the newest surgical techniques for the treatment of sinonasal disorders.

Dr. Ferguson is a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. She spends the majority of her time seeing patients in the office but also teaches medical students and residents.

Dr. Cheruvu is a summa cum laude graduate of Boston University and Boston University School of Medicine, where he received dual degrees for both his BA and MD. He completed his residency program in diagnostic radiology at Baylor College of Medicine and subsequently served in the Armed Forces as chief of cross-sectional imaging at Sheppard Air Force Base Hospital. Upon completion of his military service, he continued with a fellowship in MRI at the University of California, San Diego. He is board certified and specializes in MRI.

A free-lance editor for StayWell since 2007, Dr. Alteri is a medical editor for the American Cancer Society (ACS) National Home Office in metro Atlanta. He has held positions as a supervisor, medical technologist, clinical research coordinator, and medical author during the past 18 years. Dr. Alteri develops, revises, and edits content related to all aspects of the cancer experience for ACS.

Shari Cantor received her Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in St. Augustine, FL and her BS from Emory University in Atlanta. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Women's Health Section. Shari currently works at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston in the Outpatient Department with patients with a wide variety of diagnoses. Shari was an All-American swimmer in college.

Dr. Uhler is a glaucoma specialist in Philadelphia. After graduating from Harvard College and Medical School, she moved to Philadelphia, where she completed her ophthalmology residency and a two-year glaucoma fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital before joining the Glaucoma Service there. Interested in education, she is the director of the Wills Eye Residency Program at Thomas Jefferson University.

Dr. McDonald is a clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology, affiliated with the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He is with WakeMed faculty physicians in Raleigh, where he is the residency director and president of the medical staff. He graduated from University of North Carolina School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology.

A clinical content coordinator, writer, and editor, Mr. Bailey has over 12 years of nursing experience within a variety of clinical areas. He served as an Infectious Disease Clinical Nurse Specialist at a major teaching hospital clinic, and as a Senior Clinic Nurse in the Digestive Diseases Division. He worked as a Staff Nurse on the Solid Organ Transplant Unit at a major teaching hospital and on the Neurosciences Unit of an area hospital. He was the Senior Nurse in a private practice internal medicine clinic, and prior to nursing school, Andrew earned a bachelor's degree in English and a master's degree in Community Counseling.

For five years, she was a contributing writer to Nursing Spectrum, a news magazine for registered nurses. Ms Cosentino has been writing for SCC since 2005.

She has worked in the broadcast media as a television news anchor, television talk show co-host, and radio news-director. Ms Brown is a clinical coordinator of cardiology for a major academic medical center in metro Atlanta .

Lisa is a clinical nursing instructor at a major academic institution located in metro Atlanta, where she coordinates an undergraduate course in pharmacology and a graduate level course in advance physical assessment.

Besides producing consumer articles, she has written for pharmaceutical trade magazines, government agencies, corporations, and Web sites. She also writes for museums and publishers. Sara currently serves as an assistant vice-president and director of media relations at a major academic institution in the metro Atlanta area.

Sylvia has worked as a case manager of complex medical cases and disease management. Her experiences also include medical consulting and training with several large health care payor organizations. Ms Byrd is a certified legal nurse consultant and has assisted in several medico-legal litigation cases.

Ms Lyle is a freelance editor for SCC. She has 30 years of pediatric nursing experience in critical care, neurology, neonatology, and cardiology. Teresa received her certification as an advanced practice nurse in 1994, and has been a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) in the Department of Neonatology and Neurology for several major academic institutions. She is a published author of teaching guides, textbook chapters, and journal articles. Ms Lyle is currently working as an advanced practice nurse in an adult congenital program at a major teaching hospital in the metro Atlanta area.
