Michael has over 18 years of financial experience and brings to OpenService a vast expertise in all phases of financial management, including accounting processes, from general ledger maintenance and analysis to tax return and financial statement preparation as well as payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management and budgeting. Before his role as CFO, Conlon enjoyed the position of Controller for OpenSerivce for over two years. Prior to this role, Conlon was Senior Vice President & CFO and Senior VP of Human Resources for Specialized Software International. In this position, Conlon oversaw and management the complete financial and administrative functions of two corporations fostering growth from under $500,000 annual revenue to more than $200 million annual revenue over a 2 year period. In this role, Conlon also specialized in Employee benefits and policies and was in charge of negotiating and maintaining all financial relationships, including banking, leasing, legal, and insurance and outside accounting operations. After his tenure there, Conlon improved investment income by over 1000%, designed, developed and implemented automated internal reporting systems reducing costs by 15%, optimized company cash flow, reduced collection time by 30%, designed an employee retention program resulting in employee turnover rate of less than 2% and established programs for and managed legal immigration of new employees. Prior to that, Conlon was an audit and tax manager for 8 years. Conlon earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Bentley College.

Jeff brings 20+ years experience in product marketing and management, strategy, alliance management, and the traditional marketing functions including 10 years focused on IT security. Most recently he was Senior Director, Product Marketing for Kaspersky Lab Americas responsible for their anti-malware products. Prior to Kaspersky, Jeff was director of product marketing at McAfee, focused on IT security risk & compliance management. Previous security experience included Unisys, where he was Senior Director of Product Marketing for a security portfolio that included managed services; various security solutions; and advisory services; and Genuity (Verizon's one-time strategic ISP), where he helped build one of the 1st successful managed security services business. Other companies include SystemSoft, Progress Software, Index Technology, and Cullinet Software. Jeff graduated from Georgetown University with a BSBA in Finance and took graduate level studies in business administration at Boston College and Boston University. He also completed the GTE (now Verizon) Marketing Manager Development Program.

After practicing medicine from 1981 to 1988, Lawrence Howard co-founded Presstek, Inc., a publicly held graphic arts company whose market value grew from $12 million to $800 million under his direction as president and CEO. Dr. Howard serves on the boards of several Hudson Ventures portfolio companies, including Intellibridge and Intuitive Products International (IPI) as well as CERTPOINT. He is also on the board of trustees of Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School, the Federation Employment and Guidance Services, OPCENTER and the Diabetes Research Institute. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire and New York Medical College.

For Blue Rock Capital, Terry Collison is a director of Open Service and a Board observer of Entigo and Ranch Networks. Terry also serves as a director of the Delaware Innovation Fund and Aviom, Inc. (digital control equipment for the music industry). He is an advisor to the Board of Accugenix (advanced microbial typing services). Prior to forming Blue Rock Capital, Terry served as a venture advisor to private investors and venture funds, to Pennsylvania s Ben Franklin Partnership and other early-stage funds and private investors in the Mid-Atlantic region. He is past President of the Entrepreneurs' Forum of Greater Philadelphia. Earlier in his career, Mr. Collison was part of new venture teams at General Electric and Ford Motor Company (through a joint technology venture with MTI of Latham, NY). Terry lectures at the college and university level and previously served on the faculty of the State University of New York at Buffalo. He has appeared as a featured speaker at conferences sponsored by inc. MAGAZINE, the National Business Incubation Association, the Licensing Executives Society, the Association of University Technology Managers, and other organizations. Terry received his Master's degree in Planning with High Honors from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his B.A. cum laude from Williams College (Phi Beta Kappa).
