Dr. Robert Broderick is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist specializing in cataract, LASIK and comprehensive ophthalmology including glaucoma treatment. He received his pre-medical degree from the University of Notre Dame, and his Medical Degree from New York Medical College. Having served his internship and residency in Ophthalmology at St. Vincent's Medical Center in New York City, Dr. Broderick then went on to complete a prestigious two year fellowship in Cataract and Laser Surgery with noted ophthalmologist Dr. Charles Bechert in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Carnevale is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at The New York Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan and practices locally on Long Island. Dr. Carnevale graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Boston University. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from the New Jersey School of Medicine where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed an internship at the multi-specialty Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts and his Ophthalmology Residency at The New York Hospital - Cornell Medical Center. While in his Chief year of residency, Dr. Carnevale received the prestigious "Outstanding House-Officer" award for his skill and caring in ophthalmic surgery. During his training in vitroretinal surgery at the New York Presbyterian Hospital, Dr. Carnevale participated in several clinical trials for macular degeneration. These studies will lead to new innovations in the treatment of this blinding disorder.
