Phillip Martin is a partner in the firm's Corporate Finance & Transactions Group focusing in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and securities. In addition, he regularly advises both public and private companies on a variety of corporate matters. Mr. Martin's experience includes handling numerous acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures for both public and private companies, private placements, PIPE financings and venture capital financing. His training and experience as a CPA provides him with a unique perspective on complex financial transactions. Mr. Martin rejoined Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly LLP after serving as general counsel for Fiserv Health, Inc., the largest independent processor of health claims in the United States. His experience at Fiserv Health provided him with extensive experience in working with third party administrators (TPAs), pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) and health care provider networks. Prior to joining Fiserv Health, Mr. Martin was a senior associate at the Firm. Mr. Martin worked as an accountant and financial analyst after receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. He received a J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law and has been named a Rising Star by Minnesota Law & Politics.

Ms. Nessa is Oppenheimer's Business Litigation Assistant Managing Partner who defends commercial class actions and other complex commercial cases nationwide for financial services industry clients. She has extensive experience defending manufacturers in products liability lawsuits, as well as general business disputes. Ms. Nessa got an early start as a trial lawyer, trying a case to a jury within her first year of practice. Since then, she has been very active in courtrooms across the country having taken another nine cases to trial and resolved numerous other lawsuits through dispositive motion practice or alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
Courtney is an Operations Assistant of Marquette Asset Management. She handles client inquiries and transactions for the company and acts as liaison between the Investment Management and Trust departments. Previously, Courtney was a Jr. Accountant at Oppenheimer, Wolff & Donnelly, LLP and Accounts Payable Clerk at Merchant & Gould, IP Law Firm. Courtney earned her B.S. degree in Business Administration from North Central University.

In addition to his mergers and acquisitions practice, Mr. Anderson focuses his practice in securities laws, including corporate and securities law compliance, public and private offerings, technology licensing and executive and equity-based compensation. Mr. Anderson received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School and his B.A. in economics and management, magna cum laude (with distinction) and Phi Beta Kappa, from St. Olaf College. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association and the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals. In 2008, Mr. Anderson was named a "Rising Star" by Minnesota Law and Politics Magazine.
