As a level III adult foster care home we can take a high level of care, that of a nursing home. We have nurses that come into the home from local home health agencies that can delegate the tasks that are needed for higher level of care. The cost for the care at Optimum Care, Inc. starts at $2400.00 a month. There are three levels of care in our facility. Level one is someone who needs assistance with medications, meals and assistance in personal hygiene. Level two is someone who would need assistance in the above and is not mobile, needing more hands-on care with hygiene, transferring to and from wheel chair and to and from bed. Level three is one who would need all of the above and would need to be fed. Someone who is a total care. This fee would take them right to hospice stage. We have taken care of hip replacements, diabetics, Alzheimer's, dementia, congestive heart failure, amputee's, stroke, hospice and those that just do not have the ability to live alone anymore...
