Dr. Brian Mouatt served as the 5 th Chief Dental Officer for England and had previously served as Chief Dental Officer for Zambia. He is the past Chair of the International Dental Federation s (FDI) World Dental Development Health Promotion Committee where he is spear heading the drive to improve oral health in the developing world. This committee is responsible for the management of the World Dental Development Fund. As recent President of the Commonwealth Dental Association (CDA), he revitalized the association and instituted programs of distant learning and virtual meetings.

Dr. Per-Erik J. Saris, Ph.D . is a professor in food microbiology at the University of Helsinki in Finland. He is an expert in antibacterial peptides produced by bacteria. His team is part of the Centre of Excellence Microbial Resources appointed by the Academy of Finland. He was the first to amplify DNA directly from bacteria in 1990 and has since been active in different fields of molecular biology of bacteria including vaccine development, protein production, metabolic engineering and targeting of bacteria.

Derek G. Hennecke. Mr. Hennecke, age 41, has served as a member of our board of directors since January 2008. Mr. Hennecke is an expert in drug development. He is a founder and CEO of Xcelience, a formulation and clinical manufacturing contract research company in Tampa, Florida. His management experiences over 25 years in the international biotechnology industry include: MDS Pharma Sciences, as Vice-president and General Manager for biopharmaceuticals, formulations, manufacturing, and pharmaceutics; DSM (contract manufacturing company) in active pharmaceutical ingredients, new business development (NBD) and manufacturing; and Biochemical Research Division of Boehringer Mannheim in NBD. His work included assignments in Europe, Egypt, Mexico, Canada, and USA. In these roles, he built the operations or businesses to introduce various drug products to Europe or the USA. During his career, Derek has worked in Germany and Canada for Roche s research activities. He earned a BS University of Alberta (Canada), and MBA, Erasmus University (Rotterdam, Netherlands).

Marc is Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at NYU School of Medicine and Medical Director of Doctor Radio with NYU and Sirius Satellite Radio. Dr. Siegel is a Fox News Medical Contributor, a columnist for the Los Angeles Times, a member of the Board of Contributors at USA Today, a regular contributor to the NY Post, and a frequent contributor to the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, and Newsday. He is also the author of two non-fiction books, including False Alarm: the Truth about the Epidemic of Fear, a Discover Magazine top-twenty book of 2005.
