It also invests in renewable energy technologies. The company has revenue of about $3.8 billion, was founded in 1946, and employs about 4,000 people. In 2005 the company sold its 40% interest in the Valley Power Peaker Station in Victoria, Australia to Snowy Hydro Limited, an Australian generator and retailer of electricity
