Yoshihiko Miyauchi has been a Director of The Japan Fund since 1996. Hiroaki Nishina joined ORIX in 1968. He became General Manager of the Tokyo Sales Headquarters in January 1990, a director in June 1993 and an Executive Officer in June 1998. In 1999, Nishina took over responsibility for the Real Estate Business Headquarters before becoming President of ORIX Real Estate Corporation in the same year. He was made a Corporate Senior Vice President in June 2000 until being promoted to the position of Corporate Executive Vice President in April 2002. Yukio Yanase joined the Saitama Bank (which became Asahi Bank in 1991 and is now Resona Bank) in April 1968 and held a number of positions within the Asahi Bank covering such areas as human resources, international business activities, risk management, corporate planning and corporate communications and investor relations activities, before becoming President of the bank in October 2001.

Takeshi Sato began his career at the Saitama Bank, Ltd. (currently Resona Bank, Ltd.) in 1969 before coming to ORIX in 1972. Sato began focusing on international activities early at ORIX and was assigned as a Director of PT. ORIX Indonesia Finance in 1975, President of ORIX METRO Leasing and Finance Corporation in the Philippines in 1982, and President of ORIX Australia Corporation Limited in 1987, before returning to Tokyo in 1993 as General Manager of the International Department. Sato was appointed Director and Deputy Head of the International Headquarters in 1997, which included a posting in Singapore to oversee the Asia and Oceania operations. As Senior Vice President of ORIX's Tenant-in-Common Program, Mr. Armentrout is responsible for the structuring and pricing of ORIX's commercial real estate syndications and the coordination of TIC program activities. Mike joined ORIX Venture Finance in September 2001 to open and develop the Silicon Valley office and Western Region. He has more than a decade of experience in venture finance, both as an entrepreneur and a banking professional. Most recently, Mike was senior vice president and managing director of Venture Capital Services for Imperial Bank (acquired by Comerica), focused on building a nationwide portfolio of solid venture debt via strategic relationships with the venture capital community. Tetsuo Matsumoto joined ORIX Corporation in 1974. Yuichi Nishigori joined ORIX in April 2003, after working at The Industrial Bank of Japan, Limited (presently Mizuho Corporate Bank) since 1980. Takeshi Sasaki became a research assistant at The University of Tokyo Faculty of Law in 1965 after graduating from the same faculty and held several positions within the university until he was appointed president in April 2001 where he presided until April 2005. He became a member of the Board of Councilors for the National Institution for Academic Degrees and University Evaluation in July 2001 where he served until March 2006. In June 2003, Sasaki was also appointed chairman of The Japan Association of National Universities. Teruo Ozaki joined Arthur Andersen Tokyo Office in 1968 and became a CPA in 1974. He became a representative partner of Eiwa Audit Corporation in 1984 and a representative partner of Inoue Saito Eiwa Audit Corporation in 1991. Ozaki became a representative partner of Asahi & Co. Yasuhiko Fujiki joined Nikko Securities Co., Ltd. in 1968, before moving to Mitsubishi Development Co., Ltd. in 1971 and then to ORIX in 1976. Following appointments as General Manager of the Real Estate Sales Department, Credit Department and General Affairs Department, Fujiki was appointed Director in Charge of General Affairs in 1994. In 1997, he became Principal and Director in Charge of the Office of the President. In 1999 Fujiki became a Corporate Senior Vice President and was named Chief Branding Officer in the same year.
In his role in the Office of the President, Fujiki was instrumental in the Company's recent M&A activities and strategic plans to position ORIX to continue to be a major player in Japanese and international financial markets. Fujiki assumed the role of President and COO from April 2000 to December 2007, during which he oversaw the execution of the ORIX Group's business activities and lead the next generation of ORIX leadership into the 21st century. In June 2007, Fujiki was also appointed as CFO and was appointed Vice Chairman in January 2008. In January 2009, Fujiki retired as Group CFO and was appointed Special Advisor to ORIX Trust and Banking Corporation.
Fujiki also serves as Secretary to the Keizaidoyukai (Japan Association of Corporate Executives).
