Yoshihiko Miyauchi has been a Director of The Japan Fund since 1996. He began his career at Nichimen & Co., Ltd. in 1960 and worked there four years before entering ORIX Corporation, a leading diversified financial services company, as one of the founding 13 members in 1964. He became a Director in 1970 and was appointed President and CEO in 1980, a position he held until he assumed his present role as Chairman and CEO in April 2000. In his term as CEO, he has overseen the development of ORIX into a diversified financial services company that has continued to be on the forefront of innovation.

Hiroaki Nishina joined ORIX in 1968. He became General Manager of the Tokyo Sales Headquarters in January 1990, a director in June 1993 and an Executive Officer in June 1998. In 1999, Nishina took over responsibility for the Real Estate Business Headquarters before becoming President of ORIX Real Estate Corporation in the same year. He was made a Corporate Senior Vice President in June 2000 until being promoted to the position of Corporate Executive Vice President in April 2002. In February 2005, Nishina was appointed Deputy President. In January 2009, Nishina was appointed head of the newly established Group Corporate Sales Administrative Headquarters, Domestic Sales Administrative Headquarters and Chairman of ORIX Real Estate Corporation. He was appointed Group Osaka Representative and Chairman of ORIX Alpha Corporation in March 2009. Nishina was born in 1944 and graduated from Kwansei Gakuin University's School of Economics in 1968.

Hisayuki Kitayama joined ORIX in 1984 after beginning his career at the Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. in 1975. After a number of positions in the company, including a position at ORIX USA Corporation from May 1995, he was made the Director of ORIX Securities Corporation in June 1999. Within ORIX Securities Corporation, Kitayama was promoted to Corporate Senior Vice President in June 2001 and Corporate Executive Vice President in June 2004 before assuming his current position as its President in January 2006. Kitayama was promoted to a Group Executive in January 2008. Hisayuki Kitayama was born in 1951 and graduated from Kyoto University's Faculty of Law in 1975.

Katsutoshi Kadowaki joined ORIX in 1977. After a number of positions in the company, he was made the Branch Manager of the Sendai Branch Office in February 1991, and Branch Manager of the Kobe Branch Office in February 1994. Kadowaki became the General Manager of Osaka Sales Department V in March 1999 and was appointed General Manager of Sales Department II in April 2000 before assuming the position as Deputy Head of Tokyo Sales Headquarters in February 2004. Kadowaki became an Executive Officer and President of ORIX Eco Services Corporation in January 2007 and assumed his current position as Group Executive and President of ORIX Rentec Corporation in October 2008. Katsutoshi Kadowaki was born in 1954 and graduated from Keio University, Faculty of Business and Commerce in 1977.

Masatoshi Kemmochi joined ORIX in October 1979 after three years at New Holland HFT Japan, Inc. In February 1997 Kemmochi became Nagoya Branch Manager. In January 2002 Kemmochi was appointed an Executive Officer of ORIX Life Insurance and then promoted to a Directorship and Corporate Senior Vice President of the same corporation in July 2005. Kemmochi took over responsibility for Receivables Administration in October 2006 and became Deputy Head of the Risk Management Headquarters in November 2007. After being appointed President of ORIX Credit Corporation in January 2008 (Present post), Kemmochi was appointed a Group Executive in January 2009. Masatoshi Kemmochi was born in Hokkaido Prefecture in June 1953 and graduated from Yokohama City University's Faculty of Commerce in March 1976.

Shuji Sakamoto joined Orient Lease Interior Co., Ltd. (which became ORIX Alpha Corporation) in April 1973. After a number of positions in Orient Lease Interior Co., Ltd. and later ORIX Alpha Corporation, he was appointed a Director of ORIX Alpha Corporation as well as Officer in Charge of the Tokyo Sales Department I and Tokyo Sales Department II in June 1996. In March 2001, Sakamoto was appointed Corporate Senior Vice President of ORIX Alpha Corporation. In May 2004, he was appointed to his current position of President of ORIX Alpha Corporation. Sakamoto became a Group Executive in August 2007. Sakamoto was born in 1947 and graduated from Doshisha University's School of Business Administration in 1973.

Yoshitaka Fujisawa joined ORIX Rentec Corporation in December 1979. In June 2000 Fujisawa was appointed an Executive Officer of ORIX Rentec Corporation. In January 2006 Fujisawa was promoted to Corporate Senior Vice President of ORIX Rentec Corporation and then Deputy President of ORIX Systems Corporation in June 2008. After taking over the post of President of ORIX Systems Corporation in October 2008, Fujisawa was appointed a Group Executive in January 2009. Yoshitaka Fujisawa was born in Ishikawa Prefecture in April 1951 and graduated from Kobe University Graduate School of Engineering in March 1979.

Yoshiyuki Yamaya joined ORIX in 1980 and held a number of posts before being appointed the General Manager of the Office of the President in March 2000 and later being put in charge of the Officer of the President in April 2001. In February 2002, he was made President of ORIX Trust and Banking Corporation and then President of ORIX Credit Corporation in May 2004. In February 2005, Yamaya became a Group Executive and was made an Executive Officer, head of the OQL Headquarters and Asset Administration Department in August 2006, which he assumed until December 2007. In January 2008, Yamaya became the Group Senior Vice President and Deputy President of ORIX Real Estate Corporation. In January 2009, Yamaya was appointed a Corporate Senior Vice President, with responsibility over the Real Estate Headquarters, and also President of ORIX Real Estate Corporation. He was appointed a Director and Corporate Executive Vice President in June 2009. Yoshiyuki Yamaya was born in 1956 and graduated from Kobe University, Faculty of Agriculture in 1980.

Yukio Yanase joined the Saitama Bank (which became Asahi Bank in 1991 and is now Resona Bank) in April 1968 and held a number of positions within the Asahi Bank covering such areas as human resources, international business activities, risk management, corporate planning and corporate communications and investor relations activities, before becoming President of the bank in October 2001. Yanase joined ORIX in November 2003 as an Advisor and became the Corporate Executive Vice President in charge of the Office of the President in February 2004. He was also appointed the Executive Officer responsible for overseas activities in May 2004 in addition to his responsibilities for the Office of the President. In February 2005, Yanase was appointed Deputy President and added the Alternative Investment & Development Headquarters to his duties and in June 2005 he was also made a Director. In June 2007, Yanase was also appointed a Corporate Auditor to TDK Corporation and added the Investment Banking Headquarters to his duties. Yanase became the Representative Executive Officer, President and Chief Operating Officer in January 2008. Yanase was born in 1944 and graduated from Waseda University's School of Law in 1968.

Takeshi Sato began his career at the Saitama Bank, Ltd. (currently Resona Bank, Ltd.) in 1969 before coming to ORIX in 1972. Sato began focusing on international activities early at ORIX and was assigned as a Director of PT. ORIX Indonesia Finance in 1975, President of ORIX METRO Leasing and Finance Corporation in the Philippines in 1982, and President of ORIX Australia Corporation Limited in 1987, before returning to Tokyo in 1993 as General Manager of the International Department. Sato was appointed Director and Deputy Head of the International Headquarters in 1997, which included a posting in Singapore to oversee the Asia and Oceania operations. He was appointed Corporate Senior Vice President in 1999 and became Chairman of ORIX USA Corporation in April 2001. In February 2005, Sato was promoted to the position of Corporate Executive Vice President. In January 2009, Sato was appointed Corporate Executive Vice President of the Risk Management Headquarters. Sato was born in September 1946. He graduated from Meiji University's School of Commerce in 1969 and completed a Masters of Commerce Degree from Meiji University's Postgraduate School of Commerce in 1972.

Eiji Mitani joined ORIX in December 1978 after working for TOSTEM CORPORATION for two years. After a number of positions in ORIX, he was appointed General Manager of the Branch Coordination Department in March 1999 and General Manager of Osaka Sales Department III in December of the same year. In January 2002, Mitani was appointed General Manager of Branch Coordination Department V and Deputy Head of the Tokyo Sales Headquarters in January 2002. In January 2003, Mitani was appointed as a Corporate Executive Officer and became an Executive Officer under a "Company with Committees" structure in June 2003. In May 2004, he was made the executive officer in charge of the Administration Center and the Sales Administration Department. In February 2005, Mitani was made the Head of the Tokyo Sales Headquarters. In January 2006, Mitani was appointed to the position of Group Senior Vice President and President of ORIX Auto Corporation. Mitani was born in 1953 and graduated from Osaka City University's Faculty of Economics in 1976.

Hideaki Morita joined ORIX in August 1976 after working for Chori Co., Ltd. for just over one year. After a number of positions in ORIX, he was appointed General Manager of Sales Department I in February 1998 and then the General Manager of the Business Planning & Development Department and Sales Promotion Department in March 1999. He became the General Manager of Osaka Sales Department V in April 2000 and was promoted to the position of Deputy Head of the Kinki (Osaka) Sales Headquarters in January 2002. In January 2003, Morita was appointed as a Corporate Executive Officer and promoted to the position of Head of the Kinki (Osaka) Sales Headquarters in April 2003. Morita became an Executive Officer under a "Company with Committees" structure in June 2003. In January 2006, Morita was promoted to Corporate Senior Vice President and became the executive officer responsible for the Administration Center. In January 2009, Morita was placed in charge of the newly established Domestic Sales Administrative Headquarters with special responsibility for Western Japan. Morita was appointed Group Senior Vice President and Deputy President, ORIX Real Estate Corporation. Morita was born in 1950 and graduated from Osaka City University's Faculty of Literature in 1974.

Hiroshi Nakamura joined ORIX in 1971. After a number of posts in Japan, he became general manager of the Credit Department No. 1 in 1995 and the Corporate Executive Officer in Charge of Compliance and the Legal Affairs Department in 1999, and Standing Corporate Auditor in June 2000. Nakamura was appointed as the Officer in charge of the Compliance Coordination Office and became an Executive Officer under a "Company with Committees" structure in June 2003. In February 2005, he was appointed to the position of Corporate Senior Vice President and in April 2005 was appointed the Officer in Charge of the Legal Department and the Compliance Department. In March 2007, Nakamura was appointed the Officer in Charge of the Office of Internal Controls. Nakamura became the Officer in charge of the Internal Audit Department in January 2008. Nakamura was born in May 1948 and graduated from Kwansei Gakuin University's School of Business Administration in 1971.

Makoto Inoue joined ORIX Corporation (Formerly Orient Leasing Co., Ltd.) in 1975. In March 2001, he was assigned as the General Manager of the Investment Banking Headquarters and was promoted to the position of Deputy Head of the Investment Banking Headquarters in January 2003. In February 2005, he was promoted to the position of Executive Officer and made Head of the Alternative Investment & Development Headquarters. In January 2006, Inoue was promoted to the position of Corporate Senior Vice President, and was made the executive officer responsible for the IT Planning Office in December of the same year. In May 2007, he became President of ORIX Computer Systems Corporation and a year later in June 2008, took charge of the newly established International Administrative Headquarters. In January 2009, Inoue was appointed Corporate Senior Vice President of the Global Business & Alternative Investment Headquarters. Makoto Inoue was born in 1952 and obtained a BA from Chuo University, Faculty of Law in 1975.

As Senior Vice President of ORIX's Tenant-in-Common Program, Mr. Armentrout is responsible for the structuring and pricing of ORIX's commercial real estate syndications and the coordination of TIC program activities. Mr. Armentrout joined ORIX USA in 1994 as a director in the commercial mortgage capital markets group and has been involved as director in the real estate and investments business of ORIX Capital Markets since 1997. Over the past 10 years, Mr. Armentrout has been responsible for coordinating many of the company's commercial real estate debt and securities investment activities, including CMBS, bridge loans, custom financings and mezzanine debt. Prior to joining ORIX, Mr. Armentrout held management positions with various real estate companies and financial institutions, including Advanta Mortgage, Hotel Group of America, Continental Savings and Santa Barbara Savings. Mr. Armentrout holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Political Sciences from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Shintaro Agata joined ORIX in 1973 and became General Manager of the Treasury Department in 1997, a position he continues to hold. He became a Corporate Executive Officer in June 2000 and an Executive Officer under a "Company with Committees" structure in June 2003. In February 2005, Agata was appointed Corporate Senior Vice President and also became the Officer in charge of the Treasury Department. Agata was born in 1950 and graduated from Waseda University's School of Political Science and Economics in 1973.

Kenny Moore serves as the Managing Director of Leveraged Finance and is responsible for directing the marketing and origination of senior secured and subordinated debt products for privately held middle-market and sponsor owned companies. Prior to joining ORIX, Kenny was the Managing Director of the GulfStar Group, a Houston-based middle-market investment banking boutique with responsibility for the marketing, origination and execution of middle market investment banking services and transactions throughout the U.S. Prior to GulfStar, Kenny was associated with Heller Financial, Paribas Merchant Banking and GE Capital Corporation. Prior to GE, Kenny spent eleven years with Bank One Texas, where he held a number of management positions in the middle-market, regional and national lending marketplaces. Kenny received Bachelor degrees in Finance and Economics, both from Southern Methodist University. He is married and has two children.

Mike joined ORIX Venture Finance in September 2001 to open and develop the Silicon Valley office and Western Region. He has more than a decade of experience in venture finance, both as an entrepreneur and a banking professional. Most recently, Mike was senior vice president and managing director of Venture Capital Services for Imperial Bank (acquired by Comerica), focused on building a nationwide portfolio of solid venture debt via strategic relationships with the venture capital community. Prior to joining Imperial, he was a founding executive of Greater Bay Bank's Venture Banking Group, building a portfolio of over $100 million in venture debt. Mike is a participant in several industry-related groups, including the Western Association of Venture Capitalists. He received his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Oregon, and studied international business and finance at Stichting Nijenrode in The Netherlands.

After obtaining a PhD in Japanese Economy in 1986 from the Australian National University, Sheard took up a postdoctoral fellowship and later a faculty position at the Australian National University and in July 1993 joined the faculty of Osaka University. In January 1995, he joined Baring Asset Management as the Strategist of the Japan Investment Team and was promoted to the position of Head in September 1997. Sheard joined Lehman Brothers, Inc. Tokyo as Managing Director and Chief Economist Asia in September 2000 and was appointed as an Outside Director to ORIX under "a Company with Committees" structure in June 2003. Sheard was appointed Global Chief Economist of Lehman Brothers, Inc. in April 2006 and Managing Director, Economics Research of Barclays Capital in September 2008. He assumed his present position of Global Chief Economist and Head of Economic Research at Nomura Securities International, Inc. in November 2008. Paul Sheard was born on November 25, 1954 in Adelaide, Australia and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Monash University in 1981, and earned a PhD in Japanese Economy in 1986 and a Master of Economics in 1988 from the Australian National University.

As Director of Sales for ORIX's Tenant-in-Common program, Ms. Steahly oversees the sales and marketing efforts of ORIX's Tenant-in-Common syndications including managing ORIX's relationships with TIC investors and the broker/dealer and registered representative community.

Steve has over 30 years in commercial lending. Prior to joining ORIX, Steve was Senior Vice President, General Manager of The CIT Group's Specialty Lending. During his 11 years with CIT, Steve built a portfolio in excess of $750 Million with funding exceeding $4 Billion. For the prior 15 years, Steve established lending programs and businesses focusing on Entertainment and Communication for GE and AT&T Capital. Steve earned his Bachelors and Master of Business Administration from Loyola University in New Orleans with a major in Economics and Finance.

Haruyuki Urata joined ORIX in 1977. In May 2001, he was made the President of ORIX COMMODITIES Corporation. In January 2002, he was appointed the General Manager of the Investment and Credit Evaluation Group. In February 2004, Urata was made the Deputy Head of the Risk Management Headquarters. In February 2005, he was made an Executive Officer and in March 2005, he became the Deputy Head of the Human Resources & Corporate Administration Headquarters. In January 2006, Urata was named the Head of the Office of the President, and in August 2006 he was promoted to Corporate Senior Vice President as well as being put in charge of the Corporate Planning Office. In December 2006, he also took responsibility for managing the Corporate Planning Office. In June 2007, Urata was appointed a Director. Urata was appointed the Deputy President and added Overseas Activities and Office of the President to his duties in January 2008. In January 2009, Urata was appointed Chief Financial Officer. Haruyuki Urata was born in 1954 and graduated from Kyoto University, Faculty of Economics in 1977.

Katsunobu Kamei joined ORIX in 1980. After a number of positions in the company, he was made the Branch Manager of the Nihonbashi Branch Office in May 1995 and Branch Manager of the Minato Branch Office in March 1999. Kamei became the General Manager of the Communications Equipment Department in March 2002, General Manager of the Osaka Sales Department I in March 2003, General Manager of the Osaka Sales Department IV in March 2004 and Deputy Head of the Kinki (Osaka) Sales Headquarters in February 2005. In January 2008, Kamei became an Executive Officer in charge of e-Commerce and was appointed the Head of OQL Business Headquarters and President of ORIX Callcenter Corporation, in addition to responsibilities for the Asset Administration Department and the Regional Business Department. In January 2009, Kamei assumed responsibility for the Corporate Sales Planning in the Domestic Administrative Headquarters, followed by the additional roles of being responsible for Western Japan, OQL Headquarters in addition to being appointed Osaka Group Deputy Representative. Katsunobu Kamei was born in 1957 and graduated from Kwansei Gakuin University's School of Economics in 1980.

Kazuo Kojima joined ORIX in 1980. In April 2003, he was appointed the Deputy Head of the Real Estate Finance Headquarters. In February 2005, he was made an Executive Officer, and Head of the Real Estate Finance Headquarters, a position he assumed until December 2006. In January 2006, Kojima was also appointed the Executive Officer responsible for the Special Investments Group, the Finance Department II, and the Securitized Products Office. These three departments consolidated to become the Investment Banking Headquarters in January 2008. Kojima was promoted to the position of Corporate Senior Vice President in January 2007, and to the position of Corporate Executive Vice President, Responsible for the Investment Banking Headquarters in January 2008 He has been a director as of June 2008 and was appointed President of ORIX Capital Corporation in March 2009. Kazuo Kojima was born in 1956 and graduated from Keio University, Faculty of Economics in 1980.

Kenichi Miyauchi joined ORIX in 1972. Miyauchi was appointed General Manager of the Corporate Administration Group in February 1998 and placed in charge of IT Promotion in August 2000. Miyauchi's chief duties between March 2002 and January 2006 were oversight of Receivables Administration, being appointed Deputy Head of the Risk Management Headquarters in October 2006. Miyauchi was made an Executive Officer in January 2009. Kenichi Miyauchi was born in Osaka Prefecture in 1948 and graduated from Kansai Gakuin University's Faculty of Commerce in 1972.

Masayuki Okamoto joined ORIX in 1978. He later became the Chuo Branch Office Manager in 1997 and the General Manager of the Branch Coordination Department I in March 2001. In January 2003, he was made the Deputy Head of the Investment Banking Headquarters and appointed to the position of Executive Officer in May 2004. In February 2005, he became Head of the Investment Banking Headquarters, a position he assumed until December 2007. In January 2008, Okamoto became the Officer in charge of District Sales Headquarters and Chairman of ORIX Kitakanto Corporation. In January 2009, Okamoto was appointed a Corporate Senior Vice President, with responsibilities for the region of Eastern Japan in the newly established Domestic Sales Administrative Headquarters. Masayuki Okamoto was born on September 6, 1955 in Tokyo and graduated from Keio University, Faculty of Law in 1978.

Paul is a highly experienced member of the sales team, with twenty-one years experience working for major equipment finance companies like GE Capital, Orix, GMAC, and Harbour Capital. At Advantage Paul handles general equipment leasing as well as specializing in medical equipment leasing and construction equipment leasing. Paul also works with a number of vendor programs for medical, construction, demolition and carpet cleaner equipment.

Pravan joined ORIX Venture Finance in June 2002 and focuses on due diligence and investment analysis of East Coast transactions. Prior to joining ORIX Venture Finance, he worked in venture capital, holding positions at Metropolitan Venture Partners and Global Bridge Ventures. Pravan has also worked on mergers and acquisitions for BMO Nesbitt Burns and corporate finance transactions for the Tokai Bank. He received his B.A. in business administration from Coe College and earned an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Tadao Tsuya joined Arthur Andersen LLP (KPMG AZSA & Co.) in 1973 and became an audit partner in 1988. In 1990, he formed his own certified public accountant and certified tax accountant office. In February 1997, he joined Amway Japan Limited. In March 2001, Tsuya joined Densei-Lambda K.K. as the chief financial officer and became a director in June 2001. He then joined ORIX in July 2004 as the person in charge of the Accounting Department and Corporate Planning Office and as Deputy President of ORIX Management Information Center Corporation. In February 2005, Tsuya was promoted to the position of Executive Officer and was put in charge of the Corporate Planning Office. In January 2006, Tsuya was made the executive officer responsible for the Accounting Department and appointed President of ORIX Management Information Center Corporation. In January 2009, Tsuya was appointed a Corporate Senior Vice President. Tadao Tsuya was born in 1948 and graduated from Chuo University, Faculty of Commerce in 1972.

Tetsuo Matsumoto joined ORIX Corporation in 1974. After appointments that included Branch Manager of the Ikebukuro Branch in 1990 and General Manager of the Real Estate Department in 1998, Matsumoto became a Director of ORIX Real Estate Corporation in 1999, Corporate Senior Vice President in 2000 and was responsible for areas that included real estate development and operations, and rental business. Matsumoto became a Corporate Executive Officer of ORIX Corporation and Deputy President of ORIX Real Estate Corporation in April 2001. Matsumoto became an Executive Officer under a "Company with Committees" structure in June 2003 and was appointed Deputy Head of the Real Estate Finance Headquarters in September 2003. Matsumoto was appointed a Group Executive and Deputy President of ORIX Real Estate Corporation in February 2005 and Executive Officer in June 2006. In June 2007, Matsumoto was appointed a Corporate Senior Vice President and Head of the International Real Estate Business Headquarters and a year later in June 2008 he was appointed Group Senior Vice President whilst continuing his duties as Deputy President of ORIX Real Estate Corporation. Matsumoto was born in 1950 and graduated from Chuo University's Department of Economics in 1974.

Bill joined ORIX Venture Finance in May 2003 as the head of East Coast originations. Previously, he was the top producer at both GATX Ventures and Transamerica Technology Finance, with combined investments exceeding $225 million. Bill has produced consistent transaction volume with high quality venture-backed technology companies located primarily in the eastern U.S. His transactions have spanned multiple debt instruments, including senior loans, working capital, subordinated growth capital, and bridge financing in combination with all levels of companies (Series A, B, C or beyond). Prior to entering the venture capital arena, Bill was a successful commercial financial director working at AT&T Capital and SNET Capital. He earned a B.A. from Babson College, and is completing an M.B.A. at the University of Connecticut.

Yuichi Nishigori joined ORIX in April 2003, after working at The Industrial Bank of Japan, Limited (presently Mizuho Corporate Bank) since 1980. In November 2003 Nishigori was appointed General Manager of the Structured Finance Department II, and General Manager of the Structured Finance Department in April 2004. In January 2007 he was appointed Deputy Head of the Alternative Investment & Development Headquarters, and was appointed an Executive Officer in January 2009. In April 2009, Nishigori became the Deputy Head of the Treasury Department and was appointed the Deputy Head of the Corporate Planning and Financial Control Headquarters in June 2009. Yuichi Nishigori was born in Tokyo in January 1957 and graduated from Tokyo University's Faculty of Law in March 1980.

Yuki Oshima joined ORIX in 1971. After a number of positions in ORIX, Oshima was appointed President of ORIX Asia Limited in April 1994 before being made Deputy President of Korea Development Leasing Corporation in April 2000. In June 2002, he became the Deputy Head of the International Headquarters and in March 2004 was appointed the President of ORIX Capital Korea Corporation. In June 2005 Oshima was made the Head of the International Headquarters and an Executive Officer. In January 2009, Oshima was appointed Chairman of ORIX USA Corporation. Oshima was born in 1947 and graduated from Waseda University School of Commerce in 1971.

Professor Takeuchi is Dean of the Graduate School of International Corporate Strategy at Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo. He is also a visiting professor at Harvard Business School. His research interests are focused on: the knowledge creation process within organizations, competitiveness of Japanese firms in global industries, new product development process, and international corporate strategy. His business experience includes consulting at McKinsey and advertising at McCann Erickson in Tokyo and San Francisco. An April 1996 Fortune article introduced him as "among the intellectual leaders of the younger, globally-minded generation that is coming to power in Japan." His co-authored book, The Knowledge-Creating Company (Oxford University Press) won the "Best New Book of the Year" award in 1996.

Rick Cohen serves as a Director in Leveraged Finance and is responsible for marketing and originating senior secured and subordinated debt products for middle-market, sponsored transactions in the Northeast. Prior to joining ORIX Finance, Rick was a Director with the CIT Group in New York. He previously spent seven years with BNP Paribas, departing as a Vice President. Rick has parlayed his training and early experience in accounting into a career that includes leveraged finance and sponsor coverage.

Takeshi Sasaki became a research assistant at The University of Tokyo Faculty of Law in 1965 after graduating from the same faculty and held several positions within the university until he was appointed president in April 2001 where he presided until April 2005. He became a member of the Board of Councilors for the National Institution for Academic Degrees and University Evaluation in July 2001 where he served until March 2006. In June 2003, Sasaki was also appointed chairman of The Japan Association of National Universities. In December 2004, Sasaki was selected as a member of The Advisory Council on the Imperial House Law. In April 2005, Sasaki was appointed a professor of Gakushuin University's Faculty of Law, Department of Political Studies. In June 2006, he was appointed as an Outside Director to East Japan Railway Company and Chair of the Labo International Exchange Foundation. Sasaki also became an Outside Director to TOSHIBA Corporation in June 2007. Sasaki was made an advisor to ORIX in July 2005 and was appointed an Outside Director in June 2006. He was born on July 15, 1942 and graduated from The University of Tokyo Faculty of Law in 1965.

Teruo Ozaki joined Arthur Andersen Tokyo Office in 1968 and became a CPA in 1974. He became a representative partner of Eiwa Audit Corporation in 1984 and a representative partner of Inoue Saito Eiwa Audit Corporation in 1991. Ozaki became a representative partner of Asahi & Co. (presently KPMG AZSA & Co.) in 1993, an executive partner in 1999 and a deputy managing partner from January 2002 through May 2003. He retired from KPMG AZSA & Co. in September 2003 and opened Teruo Ozaki & Co. in October 2003. In 2004, Ozaki became a corporate auditor to Kirin Holdings Company, Ltd. and Tokai Rubber Industries, Ltd., and became an Outside Director to UFJ Bank Limited (currently The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ). In 2005, he also became an Outside Director to DAIKYO INCORPORATED. Ozaki was made an advisor to ORIX's Audit Committee in August 2004 and was appointed an Outside Director in June 2006. He was born on December 29, 1944 and graduated from Yokohama National University Faculty of Economics in 1968.

Yasuhiko Fujiki joined Nikko Securities Co., Ltd. in 1968, before moving to Mitsubishi Development Co., Ltd. in 1971 and then to ORIX in 1976. Following appointments as General Manager of the Real Estate Sales Department, Credit Department and General Affairs Department, Fujiki was appointed Director in Charge of General Affairs in 1994. In 1997, he became Principal and Director in Charge of the Office of the President. In 1999 Fujiki became a Corporate Senior Vice President and was named Chief Branding Officer in the same year. In his role in the Office of the President, Fujiki was instrumental in the Company's recent M&A activities and strategic plans to position ORIX to continue to be a major player in Japanese and international financial markets. Fujiki assumed the role of President and COO from April 2000 to December 2007, during which he oversaw the execution of the ORIX Group's business activities and lead the next generation of ORIX leadership into the 21st century. In June 2007, Fujiki was also appointed as CFO and was appointed Vice Chairman in January 2008. In January 2009, Fujiki retired as Group CFO and was appointed Special Advisor to ORIX Trust and Banking Corporation. Fujiki also serves as Secretary to the Keizaidoyukai (Japan Association of Corporate Executives). Fujiki was born in November 1945 and graduated from Waseda University's School of Commerce in 1968.

Yoshinori Yokoyama completed his architectural training at the University of Tokyo in 1966 before taking a position in the Kunio Maekawa & Associates. He earned a MArch in Urban Design at the Harvard Graduate School of Design in 1972 and joined Davis, Broady & Associates in 1973. He obtained an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at MIT and joined McKinsey in 1975. He served as a Director at McKinsey from 1987 to 2002. Yokoyama also served as a Senior Fellow at the Research Institute of Economy, Trade and Industry, IAI from 2002 to 2004. Yokoyama was appointed as an Auditor to the Industrial Revitalization Corporation of Japan in April 2003. In June 2006, Yokoyama was appointed an Outside Director at Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. Yokoyama first became a member of ORIX Corporation's Advisory Board in June 1997 before becoming a Director in June 2002. Yokoyama became an Outside Director under a "Company with Committees" structure in June 2003. Yokoyama was born in 1942 in Hiroshima Prefecture.
