Eric Kelly has served as Overland's CEO since January 2009 and as a Board member since 2007. He is also president of Silicon Valley Management Partners Inc., a management consulting and M&A advisory firm, which he co-founded in 2007. Mr. Kelly spent nearly 30 years in computer technology developing distinct operational, marketing and sales expertise. His most recent corporate position was vice president and general manager of storage systems solutions at Adaptec, Inc. Prior to that, he served as president and CEO of Snap Appliance, which was acquired by Adaptec. Two years earlier, Kelly engineered the purchase of Snap from Quantum Corp., having recognized the inherent value in Snap, where the main product he drove became the volume market leader in Network Attached Storage (NAS) appliances. His previous corporate affiliations include Maxtor Corp., Dell Computer Corp., Diamond Multimedia, Conner Peripherals and IBM. Mr. Kelly earned an M.B.A. from San Francisco State University and a B.S. in Business from San Jose State University.

Michael Norkus is the President of Alliance Consulting Group, a strategy consulting firm, which he founded in 1986. From 1975 to 1986, Mr. Norkus served as a Vice President of Boston Consulting Group where he was the founding member of the firm s Munich, Germany office. Mr. Norkus is a member of the Board of Associates of The Whitehead Institute in Cambridge, Massachusetts and of the Boston Public Library Foundation.

John Matze joined Overland Storage as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer in June 2003. Overland acquired Okapi Software, Inc., a storage software company, where Mr. Matze served as a co-founder, President and Chief Executive Officer since February 2002. John has been actively involved as a co-architect of the now-ratified iSCSI protocol since its inception. In July 1998, Mr. Matze joined Seagate Software, Inc. , a storage software company, as a Director for NAS/SAN Technology until the company was merged into VERITAS Software Corporation, a storage software company. At VERITAS Mr. Matze served as a Director in the Software Appliance Group. John was also the Author of Replica a server disaster recovery program that was distributed by STAC in 1995. John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from San Diego State University.

Kurt L. Kalbfleisch currently serves as our chief financial officer and vice president of finance. Kurt joined Overland in December 1993 and since then has served in several key management roles in cost accounting and finance. Prior to joining our company, he worked as a manufacturing budget analyst for McDonnell Douglas Corporation, a major aerospace manufacturer and defense contractor. Kurt received his MBA from the University of San Diego and a B.A. in Business Administration from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego.

Christopher S. Gopal , Ph.D. is currently our Chief Operating Officer, a position he has held since November 2008. From November 2007 to November 2008, Dr. Gopal served as our Executive Vice President, World Wide Operations. From November 2006 to October 2007, he was a director at Deloitte Consulting, and served as an independent consultant to electronics manufacturing firms from September 2005 to November 2006. He was the vice president of Commercial Supply Chain at SAIC from June 2003 to August 2005. Dr. Gopal was the vice president of Global Supply Chain Services at Unisys from November 2001. He has served as Vice President Worldwide Operations for Dell Computer and worked for, and consulted to, many of the leading global companies in the technology and consumer product industries, where he has helped develop supply chain strategy and information strategy, source products, and then executed those strategies for world-class results. In addition to his corporate experience, Dr. Gopal has been involved in small and startup companies in the technology and telecommunications industries, the most recent of which was Telseon, a next-generation telecommunication company. Dr. Gopal is recognized as a thought leader in the industry, has been an invited speaker and panel member at leading supply chain and information technology forums, and has co-authored three books on the subject. Dr. Gopal holds a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management, UK.

As Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at Overland Storage, Ravi Pendekanti oversees all marketing elements including, setting the overall strategies for product management, product marketing, and eventual product rollout. Ravi comes to Overland from SGI, where he led the Worldwide Industry and Solutions Marketing, driving solutions into various segments to cover both commercial and research. Prior to SGI, Ravi led the Reference Architectures and Customer Ready Systems marketing at Sun Microsystems. His achievements included initiating and directing the Reference Architecture program at Sun, providing key substantiation to Sun's offerings in major markets. He received the Chairman's award for his efforts in 2003 as they helped Sun grow business in some critical areas. He also served as the Vice President of Marketing at Intransa, an IP-SAN storage company. Ravi holds a MSCS from Florida Tech and a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Kakatiya University in India.

Mark Barrenechea joined Rackable Systems in November 2006 as a member of our board of directors, and in April 2007 became our President and Chief Executive Officer. Previously, Mr. Barrenechea served as Executive Vice President and CTO for CA, Inc. ( CA ), (formerly Computer Associates International, Inc.), a software company, from 2003 to 2006 and was a member of the executive management team. Prior to CA, Mr. Barrenechea served as Senior Vice President of Applications Development at Oracle Corporation, an enterprise software company, from 1997 to 2003, managing a multi-thousand person global team while serving as a member of the executive management team. From 1994 to 1997, Mr. Barrenechea served as Vice President of Development at Scopus, an applications company. Prior to Scopus, Mr. Barrenechea was with Tesseract, an applications company, where he was responsible for reshaping the company s line of human capital management software as Vice President of Development. Mr. Barrenechea holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Saint Michael s College.

Michael Norkus is the founder and president of Alliance Consulting Group, a strategy consulting firm based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In 1975, he joined the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he spent 11 years and was a founding member of the firm's Munich office. In 1986, he left BCG to start the Alliance Consulting Group. Mr. Norkus is also a member of the Board of Associates of The Whitehead Institute in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Nora Denzel is senior vice president and general manager of Intuit's Payroll Business. In this role, she leads one of the software company's fastest-growing business units, focusing on delivering easy-to-use payroll services for small businesses. Founded in 1983 and headquartered in Silicon Valley, Intuit is a leading provider of business and financial management solutions. Its traditional flagship products include Quicken, QuickBooks and TurboTax. Intuit has 8,000 employees, $2.6 billion in annual revenue, and has been recognized as America's most-admired software company and one of the country's best places to work. Before joining Intuit, Denzel held engineering, marketing and executive positions at Hewlett-Packard, Legato Systems (now a division of EMC) and IBM. Denzel earned her bachelor's degree in computer science from State University of New York and her MBA from Santa Clara University. She serves on the board of directors for Overland Storage Inc., the Support Network and the Anita Borg Institute.
