Gregory E. Abel has been a director of HomeServices of America, Inc. since its inception in 1998. He is president and chief executive officer of MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company, based in Des Moines, Iowa. Abel also holds the following senior management positions with MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company: chairman and chief executive officer for PacifiCorp, chief executive officer of CE Electric UK, chief executive officer of MidAmerican Funding, LLC, director for Kern River Gas Transmission Company and Northern Natural Gas Company. Abel has more than 20 years of experience in senior management related to the energy industry. His responsibilities at MidAmerican are the operation and management of the holdings company; PacifiCorp's and MidAmerican Energy Company's supply and marketing and delivery services businesses; the CE Electric UK distribution businesses; CalEnergy's operations as an independent power producer; and the Kern River and Northern Natural Gas pipeline operations. Furthermore, he is responsible for the evaluation of opportunities relating to acquisitions and project development. Abel serves as a director of MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company. He serves on the board and executive committee of the Greater Des Moines Partnership. He also serves on the Wells Fargo Iowa Community board of directors and the executive board of the Mid-Iowa Council Boy Scouts of America.

Karen Gilmore is Vice President of Customer Services for PacifiCorp. She oversees service to PacifiCorp's 1.6 million industrial, commercial and residential customers in six Western states and leads over 900 employees who are responsible for all aspects of customer service. She works with communities, legislatures, and commissions on customer service issues. Gilmore has been a longtime volunteer and currently serves on the boards of Junior Achievement of Utah and The Road Home. Gilmore has an undergraduate degree in sociology from the University of Oregon and a master's degree in business from George Mason University.

Virinder Singh is Environmental Policy Analyst at PacifiCorp, a power utility that serves over 2 million customers in 6 states, including Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Virinder works on a variety of issues, including legislative and regulatory issues related to renewable energy and climate change, internal resource planning, retail products focusing on renewable energy, grantmaking to local environmental efforts, and corporate environmental governance. Before joining PacifiCorp, he was a Research Director at the Renewable Energy Policy Project, a Washington DC-based non-profit. He holds degrees from the University of California at Berkeley and Columbia University.

Douglas Anderson, 49, has been with MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company for more than 10 years starting as corporate counsel to CalEnergy and holding various legal counsel positions of increasing responsibility. In May 2001, Anderson assumed his current role as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. He oversees all legal matters for the company. Anderson supports the company's acquisitions, development and financing activities, and is responsible for all contract, litigation and regulatory matters. Anderson graduated from Augustana College, Sioux Falls, S.D. in 1981 with a BA in economics and business administration. In 1985, Anderson received an MBA from the Indiana University School of Business and a juris doctorate from the Indiana University School of Law. He has practiced with Foster, Swift, Collins and Smith of Lansing, Mich.; Anderson & Anderson of Sioux Falls, S.D.; and Fraser, Stryker, Meusey, Olson, Boyer and Bloch of Omaha, Neb. Anderson is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association, South Dakota State Bar Association and Michigan State Bar Association. His interests include hunting, basketball and family. He and his wife, Bonnie, have a son, Kyle, and a daughter, Katie.
