Ed has been instrumental in building Palm's business and culture since 1993. Executive Chairman, Palm, Inc. As executive chairman of Palm, Inc., Jon Rubinstein is chairman of the company's board of directors. In addition, he is an executive officer of the company and leads the company's product-development efforts, focused on driving innovation in the mobile-computing market. Jon has helped launch some of the most influential computing products of the past decade. As a member of Apple Inc.'s executive staff and head of hardware engineering, he was instrumental in conceiving the iPod, one of the most successful consumer electronics products ever. He also led the team that built the iMac. Jon began his Apple career in 1997 as senior vice president for hardware engineering. He quickly made a mark by overhauling the company's engineering teams, product roadmaps and manufacturing processes. In 1998, Jon led his new, more nimble engineering team through a rapid rollout of the colorful, egg-shaped iMac, a machine that at once revitalized Apple and revolutionized personal computer design. As the success of the iPod soared, he became head of the iPod Division. Before joining Apple, Jon spent two decades building his career at a variety of other computer companies, including Hewlett-Packard and NeXT, and started his own computer company, Firepower Systems Inc. He developed many successful products and received a variety of patents during this period. Jon is a member of the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) and a senior member of the IEEE. Since 2004, Mr. Hartnett has been annually honored as one of the top 100 Irish American business executives in the U.S. by Irish America Magazine. As senior vice president, business development, Mark is responsible for Palm corporate and business-development functions. He returns to Palm after an absence of four years. In his early years at the company, Mark was the vice president responsible for the Palm OS® platform and led the creation of the "Palm Economy," which grew to more than 100,000 developers and 20,000 applications during his tenure.
Prior to his return to Palm, Mark was a vice president at Intuit, where he helped establish and grow the Intuit Developer Network. His group created SDKs (software development kits), recruited developers and provided technical and member support and service resulting in 30,000+ developers producing 7,000 applications for Intuit.
Prior to Intuit, Mark was vice president of marketing and business development at Atheros Communications, an early stage wireless semiconductor startup. He was responsible for all marketing, product marketing strategy, segmentation and business development.

Ryan is a transplant from the state of Illinois where he graduated from UI Champaigne. He is a software engineer for Palm who enjoys biking and roller blading. He is a ping-pong master on par with David and takes the challenge of all you mortal ping-pongers. He will crush you like little fish eyeballs. This will be his first year serving as a teacher in our ministry. So, please be gentle with him. Ryan will be teaching the MS Bible Foundations SSH Bible Study class in 2008-09.

As senior vice president of system software, Way is responsible for the underlying system and media software for Palm's platform.
Way's executive management and engineering leadership experience spans over 20 years in roles from startup CEO and founder to large-company senior executive. Prior to joining Palm, he founded Voxa, an enterprise application software company, and Pictra, which allowed customers and business to put digital photo albums online.
Prior to Pictra, Way was vice president and general manager of the Visual Magic Division of Silicon Graphics. Before that, he was vice president of engineering at Stardent Computer Corp., a manufacturer of high-end graphics workstations. He also spent nine years with AT&T/Bell Labs in New Jersey serving in various engineering and management capacities.

Eric Benhamou is chairman and CEO of Benhamou Global Ventures, LLC. Benhamou Global Ventures, started in 2003, invests and plays an active role in innovative high tech firms throughout the world. Mr. Benhamou is also the chairman of the board of directors of 3Com Corporation. He is an adjunct professor of Entrepreneurship and Family Enterprise at INSEAD. He is also a visiting professor at Ben Gurion University. He served as chairman of the board of directors of Palm, Inc. from 1999 until 2007 and as chief executive officer of Palm from 2001 until 2003. Benhamou served as chief executive officer of 3Com Corporation from 1990 until 2000. Previously, he held a variety of senior management positions at 3Com. In 1981, Mr. Benhamou co-founded Bridge Communications, an early networking pioneer, and was vice president of engineering until its merger with 3Com in 1987. In 2003, Mr. Benhamou was appointed to the Joint High Level Advisory Panel of the U.S.- Israel Science and Technology Commission by U.S. Commerce Secretary Donald Evans. He currently serves as chairman of the board of Cypress Semiconductor and as a member of the board of RealNetworks, Inc and of Silicon Valley Bancshares. He serves on the board of directors of several privately held companies. Mr. Benhamou serves on the executive committee of TechNet. He is the chairman of the Israel Venture Network, a venture philanthropy organization for a stronger Israeli society.
