Palmer Food Services is the oldest family owned and operated business in Rochester, New York. As the fifth generation owner and president I want you to know that we do not and will not rest on our laurels. Just because we have been here since 1850 does not mean we deserve to continue in business. As we tell our Sales Department - "You are only as good as your last sale..." PFS has assembled the finest team of foodservice professionals in our industry, presently 150 strong. We have invested in property, plant, equipment, and technology to remain operationally competitive, and improve our customer service. But most importantly, we truly care about our business relationships, both customer and vendor. Obviously, you can buy products from a variety of sources. But you can't buy our people or our expertise. We strive for a mutually beneficial personal relationship with every customer. Your total satisfaction and ultimate profitability are driving forces in our everyday business life. If we can't make a discernable difference in your business, if we can't bring real value to the relationship, then we have failed and we do not deserve your patronage.
