Mr. Teusink is a graduate of Western Michigan University where he won several honors including the Alpha Kappa Psi award for being the graduating senior with the highest GPA in the college of business.

Mr. Gray holds a BSBA degree in Management from Ashland University, Ohio, and has more than 20 years of experience in insurance-related claims and risk management services.

Jay Bikofsky is managing director, Hagedorn & Co., a privately owned New York, NY, insurance brokerage firm. A graduate of Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, he received a Master of Science degree in Hospital Administration from Columbia University, and a Masters in Business Administration from Fordham University.

Mr. Taylor is chief financial officer, Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina in Columbia. He earned his undergraduate degree and Master of Science in Health Care Finance Management from the University of South Carolina, and his Master of Business Administration from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.

Mr. Beaman is president & CEO, Palmetto Health in Columbia, SC. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina and his master's degree in hospital and health administration from the University of Alabama-Birmingham.

Mr. Greiner is a retired insurance executive. He served on the Board of Directors of the Self-Insurance Institute of America and the programming committee of the World Captive Conference, and received his undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Miami.

Mr. Hales is chief executive officer, Williamsburg Regional Hospital in Kingstree, SC. He is Board Certified in Healthcare Management, a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), as well as the elected ACHE Regent for South Carolina. He earned his undergraduate degree in business administration and Master of Public Administration in Health Care Administration, both from Western Kentucky University.

Mr. Miller supervises Nuveen’s municipal fixed-income investment activities. He also has direct responsibility for managing the Nuveen High Yield Municipal Bond Fund and other high-yield municipal funds and institutional accounts. He joined Nuveen in 1996 as a municipal credit analyst and moved into portfolio management in 2000. Mr. Miller became a managing director and head of the portfolio managers in 2006, and he became NAM’s CIO in 2007. Mr. Miller earned his B.A. in economics and political science from Duke University, an M.A. in economics from Northwestern University, and an M.B.A. with honors in finance from the University of Chicago.

Mr. Heydel is president & chief executive officer, Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC. He holds a bachelor's degree from Northwestern State University, a master's degree in business administration from Louisiana Tech University, and the A.S. degree in respiratory therapy from Foothill College and Stanford University.

Melvin T. Stith, Ph.D., age 61, is dean of the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University in New York. From 1991 to November 2004, he was dean of the College of Business at Florida State University in Tallahassee and the Jim Moran Professor of Business Administration. He also is a director of Synovus Financial Corporation (NYSE) and Correctional Services Corporation (NASDAQ) and previously served on the board of Rexall Sundown, Inc., and Keebler Foods Company. He has served as a director of Flowers Foods since July 2004.

As the CEO of Conway Medical Center, I am very proud of the tremendous effort and resources we have put into the expansion of our facilities. But I am even more proud of the way we care for people. I believe that truly caring for people goes far beyond the bricks and mortar concerns of a hospital. It involves practicing the Golden Rule and taking the time to listen, understand and respect those we serve. This is what has distinguished our hospital since its beginning more than 70 years ago and we will continue this tradition of caring as we grow into the future.

Mr. Cox is president & CEO, Tuomey Healthcare System in Sumter, SC. He received his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte and his master's degree in health care administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.

Ms. Bichel is vice president, financial services & CFO, Greenville Hospital System in Greenville, SC. She holds both a Bachelor of Science degree and a master's degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina, and a certificate from the Hospital Administrator's Management Improvement Program from Duke University.

Mr. Dandridge is president & CEO, The Regional Medical Center of Orangeburg & Calhoun Counties in Orangeburg, SC. He received his bachelor's degree in psychology from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia and his master's degree in hospital administration from the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University.
