Chairman of the Board
Peter J. Sodini has served as our President and Chief Executive Officer since June 1996 and became the Pantry's Chairman of the Board February 2006. He previously served as our Chief Operating Officer from February 1996 until June 1996. Mr. Sodini was Chief Executive Officer and a director of Purity Supreme, Inc. from December 1991 through February 1996. Prior to 1991, Mr. Sodini held executive positions at several supermarket chains including Boys Markets, Inc. and Piggly Wiggly Southern, Inc. Mr. Sodini has served as a director since November 1995.

Frank G. Paci joined The Pantry as our Senior Vice President, Finance, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary on July 2, 2007. Prior to joining The Pantry, Mr. Paci was with Blockbuster, Inc., where he served as Executive Vice President and had varying responsibilities in Finance and Accounting, Strategic Planning and Business Development. Prior to joining Blockbuster in 1999, he was with Yum! Brands where he served for three years as Vice President in charge of Pizza Hut's "nontraditional location" business, and later in Strategic Planning. Prior to that, Mr. Paci was with Burger King Corporation in a variety of roles for seven years. Early in his career, he was also with Pillsbury Co. and General Nutrition Centers, Inc.

Brad Williams
Brad Williams was promoted to Vice President of Operations on February 18, 2008. Mr. Williams was most recently a Division Vice President at The Pantry, Inc. with operating responsibility for approximately 550 convenience stores, and since joining the Company in 1998, Mr. Williams has held numerous positions in operations management.

Melissa H. Anderson has served as our Senior Vice President, Human Resources since November 2006. Prior to joining The Pantry, Ms. Anderson was with International Business Machines Corporation, or IBM, where for the last three years, she was the Vice President of Human Resources for IBM Global Financing. While at IBM, she led a worldwide team of human resource professionals responsible for creating and executing a worldwide workforce management strategy for an organization of approximately 3,500 employees. Previously, Ms. Anderson held numerous human resource positions in her 17-year tenure with IBM, including Human Resource Director for IBM’s Tivoli unit.

Thomas M. Murnane
Lead Director
Thomas M. Murnane has served as a director since October 2002 and as our lead director since February 2006. Since October 2005, Mr. Murnane has been a principal and co-owner of ARC Business Advisors, a consulting firm that advises on merger and acquisition transactions involving retail and apparel companies, and provides research and strategic consulting services to retailers and their suppliers. Previously, Mr. Murnane was a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP until 2002. At PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP he served in various capacities since 1980, including Director of the firm’s Retail Strategy Consulting Practice, Director of Overall Strategy Consulting for the East Region of the United States, and most recently, Global Director of Marketing and Brand Management for PwC Consulting. Mr. Murnane is also a director of Finlay Enterprises, Inc., and Pacific Sunwear of California, Inc..

Paul has forty plus years of broad based financial and general management experience in several different industries including CFO positions in four publicly held companies. Paul, as President of General Management Advisory, advises chief executives in the areas of maximization of shareholder value including: capital structure; strategic planning; acquisitions; operational planning; and exit strategies. Paul was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for GoodMark Foods and prior to that he was VP, CFO for CompuChem Corporation. Paul is a Director of The Pantry, Inc. (NASDAQ) where he serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee and serves on the Governance Committee. He served five years as Director and Chairman of the Audit and Compensation Committees of Waste Industries, Inc (NASDAQ). He is a Director of privately held LoneSource Inc. and VTFLEX, Inc. Bryan E. Monkhouse has served as a director since December 2004. Since December 2004, Mr. Holman has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Macy’s Central, a division of Macy’s, Inc., that operates 217 department stores in the Midwest and southern United States. Previously, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Galyans Trading Company, Inc. from September 2003 to October 2004. Maria Richter was appointed to the Board in October 2003. Maria worked for Morgan Stanley between 1993 and 2002, most recently as Managing Director of its Corporate Finance Retail Group. Prior to this, she was Managing Director of Investment Banking in the Southern Cone of Latin America, and Executive Director and Head of Independent Power and Structured Finance Business. Previous appointments include Vice President of Independent Power Group for Salomon Brothers, and Vice President of Prudential Capital Corporation and Power Funding Associates. Maria is a Director of Pro Mujer International, an international microfinance organisation, and was, until April 2006, a Director of the Western Electricity Co-ordinating Council.
Mark D. Miles has served as a director since January 2006. Mr. Miles currently serves as Chairman of the Board of "Our 2012 Super Bowl", the host committee of Super Bowl 2012. In January 2006, Mr. Miles assumed the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, Inc., a not-for-profit organization of central Indiana CEOs and university presidents that seeks to foster growth and opportunity throughout the region. From August 1990 to December 2005, Mr. Miles served as the Chief Executive Officer of the ATP, the official international circuit of men's professional tennis tournaments governed by ATP Tour, Inc. Prior to his service as Chief Executive Officer of the ATP, Mr. Miles served as Executive Director of Corporate Relations for Eli Lilly & Co., an international agricultural, medical instrument and pharmaceutical company. Earlier in his career, Mr. Miles worked in politics, managing successful mayoral and United States senate campaigns. Wilfred A. Finnegan
Wilfred A. Finnegan has served as a director since July 2006. Mr. Finnegan is currently an independent consultant Mr. Finnegan was a Managing Director of GoldenTree Asset Management, LP from July 2007 through December 2008. From 2003 through 2007, he was an independent consultant. In that capacity, Mr. Finnegan served as a Senior Advisor to The Carlyle Group, a global private equity firm, from 2003 to 2005.
