Lindsay Yelland joined the Ideas International Limited Board of Directors in November 2000. In addition to being the Chairman of IDEAS, Lindsay is currently a director of PaperlinX Limited and the Chairman of Argus Solutions Ltd. Lindsay's experience includes seven years at Telstra Corporation, where was the Group Managing Director responsible for corporate sales and service, and prior to that the Group Managing Director responsible for products and marketing. He was Chairman of On Australia (Big Pond) and Telstra Saturn (NZ) and on the Board of Telstra Multi-Media PTY Ltd. Before joining Telstra in 1992, Lindsay held a number of senior executive positions in the computer industry. While residing in Singapore, he was the Vice President of Asia Pacific for Data General Corporation and for Apollo Computer, which he also founded in Australia. In addition, Lindsay served in both technical and managerial capacities at Prime Computer of Australia, Sigma Data Corporation, and Control Data Corporation.
