Mr. Tropsa has more than 25 years of experience in financial management and creating value for investors, including improving financial performance, implementing enterprise systems, and maximizing capital structure. Mr. Tropsa was formerly Chief Financial Officer and co-founder of Aptuit, Inc., a $300 million company focused on streamlining the drug development process for biotechnology and pharmaceutical innovators. He previously served as Vice President of Finance and Accounting for Dictaphone Corporation, and Chief Financial Officer of ChiRex Inc., a pharmaceutical outsourcing company.

Mr. Hale has served as Executive Vice President of Operations and Client Services since May 2008, when Alere merged with Matria Healthcare. Previously for Matria, he was Vice President of Operations for the Women's and Children's Health division since July 2006 and served as Director of MaternaLink Operations for Women's and Children's Health since he joined the company in August 2005. His diversified experience in process improvement, operations management, change leadership, organizational design, Six Sigma process reengineering (Black Belt), complex project management, and call center leadership provides him with the insight and experience necessary to work with and understand the needs of clients. Mr. Hale works both externally with clients and internally with the product development team to ensure the products and services Alere delivers are not only in line with current trends, but also anticipate the future of the marketplace. Prior to joining Matria, Mr. Hale was Senior Manager with The North Highland Company, where he consulted with Fortune 500 companies specializing in organizational change management, process improvement, organizational design and complex program management. Mr. Hale also has tenure with The Coca-Cola Company and with Arthur Andersen, where he worked with accounts and clients representing a variety of industries, including healthcare, food services, financial services, manufacturing and telecommunications. Mr. Hale received his bachelor's degree in accounting from MidAmerica Nazarene University.

Dr. Stanziano has served as Executive Vice President of Medical Affairs for Women's and Children's Health since May 2008, when Alere merged with Matria Healthcare. Previously, Dr. Stanziano served as both Senior Vice President of Women's and Children's Health since June 2003 and as Vice President of Medical Affairs since the formation of the former Matria through the merger of Healthdyne Maternity Management and Tokos Medical Corporation in March 1996. In both roles, Dr. Stanziano participated in product development, providing the clinical backbone required for our programs, and directed Matria quality initiatives. His global view of client needs and those of their participants are a result of frequent interactions with clients at sales presentations, outcomes results discussions and other activities. In addition, Dr. Stanziano has authored or co-authored over 100 publications and scientific presentations relating to management of pregnancy and its complications. Dr. Stanziano served as Vice President of Medical Affairs for Healthdyne Maternity Management since joining the company in September 1992 until March 1996. Prior to joining Healthdyne Maternity Management, Dr. Stanziano served as Associate Medical Director at Solvay Pharmaceuticals from July 1991 to September 1992, Clinical Research Manager at Health Images from January 1990 to June 1991, Medical Products Consultant at Needle and Rosenberg, P.C. from January 1989 to December 1989, Medical Researcher - Neurophysiology at Emory University School of Medicine from 1983 to 1984, a Bioengineer for the VA Medical Center at Emory University Clinic from 1981 to 1983, a Systems Engineer at Honeywell, Inc. from 1980 to 1981 and an Applications Engineer at Scientific Atlanta from 1978 to 1980. Dr. Stanziano earned a bachelor's degree in engineering in 1978 and a bachelor's degree in applied biology in 1983 from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia in 1988.

Mr. Wilson has served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Managed Care since May 2008, when Alere merged with Matria Healthcare. Prior thereto, he was Senior Vice President of Sales and Managed Care for the former Matria since February 2008, after serving as Vice President of Sales for Women's and Children's Health since December 2006. In his current role, he is responsible for field sales and managed care contracting. The field sales responsibility consists of six regions encompassing 67 account executives, six regional vice presidents and the managed care sales team. In addition to the field sales responsibility, Mr. Wilson is responsible for the Women and Children's Health sales training department, which focuses on the continued training and development of the entire division. Before he joined Matria, Mr. Wilson served as the Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Managed Care for Pediatric Services of America, Inc., a home care organization in Norcross, Georgia, that provides comprehensive care for medically fragile children. He also served as Area Vice President of Managed Care Sales at CareCentrix, where he was responsible for the entire sales process related to the execution of network management agreements. Mr. Wilson originally joined the former Matria Healthcare (formally Healthdyne, Inc.) in 1989 where he held five different roles before serving as the Vice President of Managed Care and Sales Administration for the Women's Health division from 1999 until 2003. Mr. Wilson has more than 22 years of healthcare experience. Mr. Wilson earned his bachelor's degree in business from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.

As chief sales and marketing officer, Mike Majerik is responsible for designing and implementing Magellan's sales and marketing strategy, as well as overseeing Magellan's Public Relations and Communications and Proposal Strategy and Development departments to further drive and support Magellan's business growth efforts. Mike most recently served as executive vice president of sales for CorSolutions Medical, Inc. a leading disease management firm that was acquired by Matria Healthcare in 2006. He had held a variety of progressively responsible sales and marketing positions with CorSolutions during his six-year tenure, and prior to that, had served in sales, marketing and business development roles with CM Healthcare Resources, a health care products and services provider, the USCI Division of C.R. Bard, a medical/surgical product manufacturer, and SmithKline Pharmaceuticals, a predecessor organization of pharmaceutical manufacturer GlaxoSmithKline. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business finance from Indiana University.

Tom Hagan brings more than 15 years of information technology and operating experience to Alere and currently plays a key role in facilitating Alere's strategic technology and customer partnerships with leading players in the disease management industry. Prior to this role, Hagan served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of ParadigmHealth (acquired by Alere). There, he oversaw the development and implementation of ParadigmHealth's pioneering information technology, data analytics and warehousing applications, which continue to enable a fundamental, Internet-based transformation in patient care. Prior to ParadigmHealth, Mr. Hagan was Chief Information Officer for PersonalPath Systems Inc., (acquired by PardigmHealth in 2004), where he led the development of the Personal Health Record and Care Management platforms. As an original member of the Franklin Health Group (predecessor to Personal Path Systems) founded in 1991, he was instrumental in the development of the Complex Care product and supporting business intelligence applications. Mr. Hagan holds a patent entitled "Method of Customizing a User's Browsing Experience on a World-Wide-Web Site." He earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Chicago.

Mr. Hall joined Alere in December 2008 and brings more than 25 years of proven success in managing complex infrastructure operations. He comes to Alere with a track-record of improving IT performance both operationally and financially through consolidations, process improvements, team building and defining and meeting client expectations. In this capacity, Mr. Hall will lead the Alere consolidation of IT Operations into a single organization with common goals, standards and processes. Prior to joining Alere, he held a range of IT management positions for various organizations, including Vice President of IT Services with First Consulting Group; Vice President and Service Delivery Manager for CSC; and Vice President of Nationwide Insurance Enterprise Systems. Mr. Hall graduated from MATA Technical College in Columbus, Ohio and continued studies at Franklin University and Capital University, both in Columbus.

Daniel Blumenthal is a Managing Director and a Founding Partner of Willis Stein & Partners, a leading private equity firm specializing in negotiating investments in profitable, well-managed, and growing companies in the business services, consumer products and services, healthcare, manufacturing, and media and telecommunications industries. He currently serves as a director on the following boards: National Veterinary Associates, Inc., Ziff Davis Media, Inc., Baker & Taylor, Inc., Aavid Thermal Technologies, Inc., Neoplan USA Corporation, and USApubs, Inc. Prior to the formation of Willis Stein & Partners, he was Vice President of Continental Illinois Venture Corporation from 1993 to 1995 and a corporate tax attorney with Latham & Watkins from 1988 to 1993. Blumenthal received his J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School and his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History, summa cum laude, from Brandeis University.

Mr Apolinsky has overall management responsibility for Alere's Legal Department. Previously, Mr. Apolinsky served as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Merge Healthcare, Inc., a publicly-traded company that develops, licenses, implements and supports medical imaging and information software. He led Merge's worldwide legal affairs for their U.S., Canadian, Indian and European operations. Prior to Merge, he served as Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary for Gold Kist, Inc. He was responsible for securities compliance, corporate governance, contracting and licensing matters for this publicly-traded company with annual revenues in excess of $2 billion. He began his legal career with Alston & Bird LLP, a prominent national legal firm, and practiced law with the firm until joining Gold Kist. Craig was a partner with Alston & Bird in its Corporate Health Care and Technology Practice Groups.

David L. Goldsmith was elected as a director in June 2005 and is a financial services veteran of more than three decades. Mr. Goldsmith is currently a business consultant principally focused in the areas of corporate finance. From 1999 to 2003, he was a managing director of venture capital for RS Investments. Mr. Goldsmith was a partner and managing director for Robertson Stephens and Company from 1991 to 1999. Prior to Robertson Stephens, he served as an associate director of research for BA Investment Management from 1978 to 1991. Before that, Mr. Goldsmith was a buy-side healthcare research analyst at Lehman Management from 1972 to 1978. Mr. Goldsmith currently serves on the Board of Directors of Apria Healthcare Group, AirLogix Inc. and Paradigm Health. Mr. Goldsmith holds a B.A. in Economics from Occidental College in Los Angeles and an M.B.A. from Columbia Graduate School of Business.

Eileen Sweeney has more than 20 years experience in both the life and health insurance industries. Throughout her career, she has held various positions at Zurich and Centre RE, including serving as Senior Vice President of Reinsurance & Underwriting and as Joint Head of Centre RE's Life & Health Unit. In addition, she has served in several board positions on behalf of Zurich and Centre RE and their investment companies. Sweeney received degrees in Chemistry and Physics from Harvard University. She is a Fellow with the Casualty Actuary Society of America and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

John Wilkerson is Chairman and founding general partner of Galen, a venture capital fund investing in late stage healthcare businesses. Prior to Galen, Wilkerson was the founder and Chairman of The Wilkerson Group (TWG) now IBM Healthcare Consulting. Before TWG, Mr. Wilkerson was a Vice President and Partner of Smith Barney, Harris Upham and Co. where he was responsible for medical supply security analysis. Wilkerson joined the health products industry in 1972 where he held a variety of marketing and management positions at Johnson & Johnson. Wilkerson holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University where he specialized in managerial economics and marketing research. Wilkerson is a board member of Stericycle and several privately held healthcare companies. He is also Chairman of Atlantic Health Systems, a New Jersey hospital system.
