Robert Pepper, Director, has held senior and executive leadership positions in strategic marketing (corporate & product), product management, sales management, finance, operations and corporate planning. His 20-year career has included international markets within the high-tech information technology and communications sectors for emerging companies where he has successfully grown revenues and built market share. He has in-depth experience in managing marketing operations, corporate development including channel management, directing research and development operations, and introducing products in over 200 countries. Robert Pepper is currently the Vice President of Marketing at VISICU, Inc., (NASDAQ: EICU), a leading provider of healthcare information technology and clinical information solutions for major hospital networks. In 2007, VISICU Inc. received national recognition as one of the fastest growing companies in the United States, in terms of revenues and earnings, from numerous organizations including Deloitte and Touche, Healthcare Informatics and Frost and Sullivan. Prior to joining VISICU, Mr. Pepper was the Vice President of Marketing, Clients Relations, Client Support and Technical Communications divisions at SoftMed Systems, Inc., the leading healthcare information management provider in North America with more than 8,000 systems installed in 1,800 healthcare organizations. Mr. Pepper earned his Bachelors degree in Finance at the University of Maryland and his Masters degree in marketing at Babson College.
