James W. Wiltz , age 63, was elected President and Chief Executive Officer in May 2005. He served as one of our Vice Presidents from 1986 to 2003, and as our President and Chief Operating Officer from April 2003 through May 2005. He has been employed by us since September 1969, initially as a territory sales representative, then an equipment specialist and later a branch manager. In 1980, Mr. Wiltz was appointed Vice President of the Midwestern Division and was appointed Vice President, Sales and Distribution in 1986. From 1996 to 2003, Mr. Wiltz served as President of our subsidiary, Patterson Dental Supply, Inc. He has been one of our directors since March 2001.
George began his tenure as president of Patterson's veterinary unit in 2006. Before providing leadership in this capacity, he served as Webster's chief information officer.
Ronald E. Ezerski , age 62, served as our Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer from December 1982 through July 1999 and was President of our subsidiary, Dental Capital Corporation, from December 1982 until October 1988 when it was merged into our company. From September 1996 through July 1999, Mr. Ezerski also served as our Executive Vice President. Mr. Ezerski has been one of our directors since March 1983.
Dan joined Patterson in this capacity in 2008. He was formerly employed with ADC Telecommunications, where he served as vice president of global operations. His prior positions with ADC include vice president of operations and vice president of international operations.

In addition to holding this position since 1985, Pete's leadership posts with the Company have included chief executive officer (1982 to 2005) and president (1982 to 2003). Pete currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Before his career with Patterson, Pete worked for American Hospital Supply Corp. for 18 years, the last seven of which he served as president, Scientific Products Division.
Brian Connolly is the Southeast Regional Technology manager for Patterson Dental. He has been part of the dental community for over thirty years with most of them in the laboratory. Brian has also stepped outside of the dental community to evaluate manufacturing shifts with technology and has implemented quality systems to handle collaboration of multiple providers.

Dr. Delrose is a graduate of Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry. He than finished a Fellowship in Prosthetics before joining the U.S. Navy. His last duty in the Navy was as the branch Prosthodontist. He joined North River Dental, a private dental practice in Ellenton, in 1997. Since 1997, he helped develop a Case Presentation Module for Kodak SoftDent; been a Beta Tester for Dexis, Dentsply, Kodak, and Trophy. He has been published in J.A.D.A. and Dental Economics. Dr. Delrose has produced training videos in conjunction with Knight Dental Group in Clearwater, Florida; he was a spotlight speaker at the 2006 Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and in 2008 lectured at the Academy of CAD/CAM Dentistry. Has been featured on Good Morning America speaking about Invisalign and is seen locally every month on Studio 10, a local C.B.S. affiliate program here in Tampa. Dr. Delrose is a Certified Trainer for the International Society of Computerized Dentistry and is an Advance Trainer for Patterson Dental and Sirona. He trains other dentists for the Institute of Computerized Dentistry in Ellenton, Florida. Dr. Delrose also practices four days a week at his private practice in Ellenton, and faces the same challenges in dentistry as the rest of us. Mark has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. While in college, Mark worked as an expanded duties dental assistant. With over 25 years experience in the dental and related dental specialty fields, Mark has worked as a marketing manager or sales representative for such companies as Columbus Dental, Patterson Dental, and Johnson & Johnson/A-Company. With these years of experience; coupled with his desire to provide a more complete product offering for his customers, Mark founded MCF Enterprises, Inc., in January of 1997. MCF is located at its new equipment showroom in Westerville, Ohio, and is pleased to provide Boyd Industries products and other complementing equipment products and supplies throughout the Midwest. Mark enjoys singing at his local church, spending time with his wife, Lynn and his two teenage sons, John and Michael. Mark and his family live in Westerville, Ohio. Mark's mission is to provide his specialty doctors in the dental and medical fields with a continuum of high-quality products in a convenient "one-stop-shopping" experience, along with exceptional customer service and excellent product value.
Dr. Paul Niesen graduated from the State University of New York, School of Dental Medicine in 1990. After fours years serving as a Captain in the United States Air Force Dental Corp., Dr. Niesen moved to Maryland and started his general dental practice. Dr. Niesen has developed his solo general practice into a highly successful business, focusing on high-quality restorative dentistry and exceptional customer service. As an ISCD-certified CEREC Trainer and CEREC Basic Trainer for Patterson Dental Company, Dr. Niesen is a highly sought-after lecturer and teacher for his expertise and experience in using high-technologies to deliver quality patient care.
J.A. Lacy serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of FinishMaster, the leading independent distributor of automotive coatings and associated products in the U.S. The company employs over 1,700 associates in 29 states. FinishMaster's primary focus is the collision repair market. The company's aim is to gain share in this highly fragmented $2.5 billion industry via acquisition and by leveraging scale to achieve advantage over competitors. FinishMaster's value proposition is to provide superior distribution basics and value added information to its customers enabling them to increase productivity, manage material costs and increase profits. A native of Indianapolis, J.A. has lived and worked in Chicago, Vancouver and Hong Kong. He previously served as President of Tucker Rocky Canada and as Vice President of J. Walter Thompson. He is an avid runner and reader and enjoys volunteering at various local charities including serving as Chairman for the United Way's Tocqueville Society and as a Director for the YMCA, Central Indiana Women's Fund and United Way. J.A. also serves on the SKL Executive Leadership Services Advisory Board.
Charles Reich , age 66, has been retired since October 2004. From October 2002 to October 2004, Dr. Reich served as Executive Vice President of 3M Health Care, a business segment of 3M Company. Dr. Reich joined 3M Company in 1968 as a research chemist and assumed a variety of management positions in the Research & Development organization before moving to business management in 1989. He held a variety of management and executive positions, including international postings, within 3M Company since that time. He also served as a member of the Executive Advisory Board, Juran Center for Leadership in Quality at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Reich has been a director of Imation Corp. since July 2004. He has been one of our directors since December 2005.
Harold C. Slavkin , age 70, has been Dean of the University of Southern California School of Dentistry since August 2000. Dr. Slavkin returned to USC after serving as the sixth director of the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, one of the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Slavkin is a member of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences, a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, a Fellow of both the American College of Dentistry and the International College of Dentistry, Past-President of the American Dental Research Association and a member of the International Association for Dental Research. In 1968, Dr. Slavkin joined the faculty of the USC School of Dentistry. He has been one of our directors since December 2001.
John D. Buck currently serves as executive chairman of our board of directors. From August 23, 2008 to January 26, 2009, Mr. Buck served as our chief executive officer, and from October 25, 2007 to March 3, 2008, he served as our interim chief executive officer. His previous experience includes serving as chief executive officer of Medica, Minnesota’s second largest health insurer, from February 2002 to May 2003. Previously, Mr. Buck worked for Fingerhut Companies from 1996 to October, 2000 where he held executive positions of increasing responsibility, concluding with service as president and chief operating officer. He currently serves as non-executive chairman of the board of Medica and serves on the board of directors of Patterson Companies, Inc. and Halo Innovations. Mr. Buck also previously has held senior executive management positions at Graco Inc., Honeywell Inc., and Alliant Techsystems Inc.
