Youngsoo Kim is Vice President of Corporate Strategy Planning Team of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. a position he has held since January, 2004. In this function he is responsible for the areas of strategic alliance, mergers and acquisitions as well as new business development.

As a VP, Dr. Kim is focused on developing wireless multimedia SOC based on Bluetooth or Wireless LAN and associated embedded cores for GCT Semiconductor, as well as overseeing the company's mobile media processor initiative. Dr. Kim brings a great deal of experience to the position, with more than nine years of service with Samsung Electronics and Korea Telecom working on multimedia semiconductor design. During his doctorate program at Seoul National University, Dr. Kim studied the design and development of semiconductor circuits and systems, including an embedded DSP core, MPEG 2/4 coder-decoder, and low-power mobile media processor. He also was involved in developing embedded system software, including a simulator and compiler. "Jeemee" has been credited with authoring a number of articles for leading engineering journals in the U.S. and Korea.

Kisoo joined Samsung Electronics Co.,Ltd. at 1984 and engaged in R&D area more than 20 years. After joining in Samsung Electronics at 1984 and worked for developement of G4 and G3 Fax system, ADSL system as a Software part leader and Broadband network terminal equipment and so on.

Michael Malcy leverages his extensive consumer, broadcast, and industrial electronics background in his role as Vice President of Business Development & Marketing at Vidiom Systems. He oversees all consulting, marketing, and business development functions. Mike brings a substantial amount of standards experience to Vidiom having participated in the CableLabs, OpenCable, DOCSIS, and CableHome efforts. He is also a member of SCTE, ATSC, and CEA; the Vice Chairman of the Technical Standards Committee of the Consumer Electronics Association; and a member of the Cable & Telecommunication Association for Marketing. Prior to Vidiom, Michael was Vice President of the Digital Convergence Team at Samsung Electronics Product Innovation Lab, where he managed new product strategy and development for cable, music, and new technologies. Michael spent several years at Sharp Laboratories of America where he was responsible for both the formulation of Sharp's technical position in standards bodies as well as the development of broadband applications with an emphasis on Cable, HDTV, and DSL. Mike has over 20 years of experience in electronics industries. His work history includes Samsung Electronics, Sharp Laboratories of America, Ikegami, and Anton Bauer.

A founder, chairman and CEO of Applied Materials, Japan and served as the region's president for 10 years. He holds an elected corporate senior vice president position of Applied Materials, Inc and chairman of AKT, a wholly owned subsidiary of Applied Material for TFT-LCD manufacturing equipment business. He also is an outside director Of Samsung Electronics and a member of the advisory board of Toshiba Ceramics, Co, and Development Bank of Japan. He served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Semiconductor Equipment Association of Japan.
