Enrico was appointed C.E.O. of Penguin Computing in November 2003 and Chairman in 2004. Before joining Penguin Computing, Enrico was CEO of BlueArc, a network attached storage company. Enrico was also president of Tandem Computers, Inc. and joined Compaq when it acquired Tandem Computers in 1997. Donald joined Penguin through its acquisition of Scyld Computing. Donald is an internationally recognized operating system developer and the original inventor of Beowulf clustering. In 1999 he founded Scyld Computing and led the development of the next-generation Beowulf cluster operating system. Prior to founding Scyld, Donald started the Beowulf Parallel Workstation project at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. He is the co-author of How to Build a Beowulf: A Guide to the Implementation and Application of PC Clusters. With colleagues from the California Institute of Technology and the Los Alamos National Laboratory, he was the recipient of the IEEE Computer Society 1997 Gordon Bell Prize for Price/Performance. Donald holds a B.S. degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Frank joined Penguin Computing in May 2005. He has more than 20 years of senior executive experience, including president, C.O.O., C.F.O. and E.V.P. roles with large organizations and start-ups. He was president, C.O.O. and C.F.O. of Scientific Learning Corporation, a software company that he joined when it was a pre-product start-up and led it through private financings and an initial public offering (IPO). Previously, Frank was E.V.P. and C.F.O. of MusicNet, a start-up backed by top tier venture firms. Earlier in his career Frank held senior general management, operations, and financial positions at Ingram Entertainment Inc. and Commtron Corporation, market-leading distributors in the home entertainment industry. Andreas joined Penguin Computing in March of 2005, where he first managed hardware engineering for the clustering division before taking over Scyld software development. Andreas has managed a variety of software engineering groups for over 20 years. Before Penguin, Andreas was Director of Software Development and Operations at OpenGrid, Inc. a leading mobile messaging company. He was instrumental in ensuring the uninterrupted availability of OpenGrid's web operations. A native of Hamburg, Germany, Andreas came to the United States in 1992 to set up operations for the German software company StarDivision, acting as General Manager for StarOffice, a multi platform office suite. The company was later sold to Sun Microsystems which released StarOffice under the now popular name of OpenOffice. Andreas is a graduate of the Hamburg School of Business, specializing in Computer Science.

David joined Penguin Computing in February 2007 and is responsible for executing the company's software and services strategy. David brings more than 15 years experience in enterprise software sales at companies, such as, GoldenGate Software, Versant Corporation, IBM, Select Software and Digitalk-ParcPlace. Most recently, David was the Worldwide Program Director for Versant's Open Access Products for both Java and .Net where he was responsible for all revenue generation activities, including direct sales, channels and marketing. A high tech pioneer, Ed Ekstrom is managing director of vSpring Capital. Before joining the vSpring team, Ed served as vice president of the Intel Communications Products Group and general manager of the Intel Utah Software Development Center, a post given to him after Intel acquired LANSystems where Ed was a principal. Prior to Intel, Ed was a vice president at CeriSyn and a founder at Cericor, which was acquired by Hewlett Packard in 1985. Scott Potter is the founding Managing Partner of San Francisco Equity Partners. In his career as a private equity investor, CEO, and advisor, Scott has been involved in over 75 private equity financings, 20 public offerings, and 15 M&A transactions. From 1999-2002, Scott served as President and CEO of Quiver, Inc., an enterprise software company backed by several leading Private Equity and Venture Capital firms. He oversaw all aspects of Quiver's growth, including its acquisition of Global 2000 customers such as Federal Express, Pepsi Bottling Group, and Northwestern Mutual Life. Quiver was acquired by Inktomi in August 2002. Prior to Quiver, Scott served as Executive Vice President at Worldres, Inc., a venture-backed online travel company. His career began as a corporate finance attorney for Silicon Valley law firm Venture Law Group where his practice focused on private and public financings, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate partnering transactions. Scott's client list included industry leaders such as Yahoo!, Intel, and WebTV Networks, as well as several prominent venture capital firms and investment banks. Scott holds a JD from UC Berkley's Boalt Hall School of Law and a BA in Industrial Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley.
