Founded in 1852, Pennichuck Water Works has grown to become the largest investor-owned water company in the state of New Hampshire, serving a population of 120,000 people in 22 communities throughout southern New Hampshire and in Massachusetts. Pennichuck Corporation is a holding company with five wholly owned operating subsidiaries. The Company is comprised of three private water utilities, Pennichuck Water Works, Inc., Pittsfield Aqueduct Company and Pennichuck East Utility, that are regulated by the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission, and two non-regulated companies, Pennichuck Water Service Company and The Southwood Corporation. Pennichuck Water Works, Inc. ("PWW") is the leading private supplier of water for domestic, commercial and industrial use and fire protection to customers in the City of Nashua and the Towns of Amherst, Hollis, Merrimack and Milford. In addition, PWW owns and operates 11 community water systems in Bedford, East Derry, Epping, Milford, Newmarket, Plaistow and Salem, New Hampshire. Pittsfield Aqueduct Company ("PAC") serves the town of Pittsfield, NH. Pennichuck East Utility, Inc. ("PEU"), serves customers in Atkinson, Derry, Hooksett, Litchfield, Londonderry, Pelham, Plaistow, Raymond, Sandown and Windham, NH. Stephen J. Densberger – Mr. Densberger is our Executive Vice President and has been affiliated with Pennichuck since 1974. Mr. Densberger was the Treasurer of Pennichuck from 1978 to 1983. He also served as President and a director of Pennichuck Water Service Corporation since 1995 and as a director of Pittsfield Aqueduct Company, Inc. and of Pennichuck East Utility, Inc. since 1998. Donald L. Correll is president and chief executive officer (CEO) of American Water, the largest investor-owned U.S. water and wastewater utility company. For more than 30 years, Mr. Correll has held leadership roles in the water industry and is known for developing a high-quality, customer-oriented culture in the companies he manages, resulting in outstanding service and improved stakeholder value. Mr. Correll leads a team of more than 7,000 dedicated professionals who provide drinking water, wastewater and other related services to approximately 15 million people in 32 states and Ontario, Canada. Prior to joining American Water on April 17, 2006, Mr. Correll served as president and CEO of Pennichuck Corp., a New Hampshire-based water utility holding company. Mr. Correll spent 25 years with United Water Resources, a leading investor-owned water services company, where he served as chairman, president and CEO from 1991 through 2001. He is also credited with expanding the United Water customer base from 1 million in two states to 7.5 million in 19 states. Duane C. Montopoli – Mr. Montopoli has been President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of Pennichuck since he joined the Company in August 2006. He brought to Pennichuck more than 30 years business experience including 16 years CEO experience. Hannah M. McCarthy – Ms. McCarthy has been a director since 1994 and served as interim Chief Executive Officer of the Company from April 15, 2006 until August 21, 2006.
