Philip Chapman joined Peregrine in 2003 as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Chapman served as CFO and later as President and CEO of OMM Inc., a MEMS-based optical switch manufacturer. Prior to OMM, Mr. Chapman was CFO of Microchip Technology Inc., where he guided the company through a successful initial public offering and subsequent 10x growth in revenue. Mr. Chapman brings to Peregrine more than 20 years of financial experience in a variety of high technology firms. Mr. Chapman has B.A. degrees in Accounting and in Managerial Finance from the University of California, and an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business Management.

Ronald E. Reedy, Ph.D., a Peregrine co-founder, serves as Chief Technical Officer and Vice President of Space and Defense Sales. Previously, Dr. Reedy led the microelectronics division at Navy Research and Development (NRaD) and was engaged in fiber communications and photonic systems R&D. He is a co-inventor of UltraCMOS technology and has over 20 years experience in semiconductor R&D. He received his B.S. from the US Naval Academy and his Ph.D. from University of California at San Diego.

Allan is one of the two founding partners of Technology Venture Partners, which is a specialist investor in the IT&T sector with over $200m in funds under management. Allan was a founding executive with the Australian Technology Group and has been involved in early stage venture capital for the past 12 years, three of which were spent in Silicon Valley. Prior to this, he spent 8 years in Management Consulting with McKinsey & Company and as a Director of the Ernst & Young's Management and Technology Consulting practice. Allan has also spent several years in professional and system engineering roles as well as marketing with IBM Australia. Allan is a member of Ausindustry's ITC committee overseeing Commercial Ready Grants and was a past member of the Concessional Loans Committee. He is a member of the Australian Venture Capital Association (AVCAL) council. He holds an Honours degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Master of Business Administration and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

"Lanny" Ross, a member of its Board of Directors, has assumed a full-time role as interim Chief Operating Officer, in charge of internal operations. "Lanny has been involved with the company for many years as an adviser and as a very active board member," said Dr. Henry T. Nicholas III, Broadcom's President and CEO. "Recently, we have asked him to increase his involvement as we have undertaken our company-wide cost cutting and restructuring efforts. Although previously retired, Lanny has now agreed to join Broadcom full time on an indefinite basis, to run our internal operations and to help recruit and expand our senior executive staff." Mr. Ross, who was elected to Broadcom's Board of Directors in 1995, served for many years as the President of Rockwell International's Telecommunications Group, which included the Newport Beach-based semiconductor operation. Under Mr. Ross's leadership, Rockwell's semiconductor revenue grew from $140 million to more than $1 billion and Rockwell became the worldwide leader in voiceband modems. He retired in 1995. Later Rockwell spun off its semiconductor operations to the public to launch Conexant Systems. Before joining Rockwell, Mr. Ross served as Vice President and General Manager of National Semiconductor's ASIC business, and prior to that was Vice President and General Manager of Fairchild Semiconductor's ASIC division. During 1978-1982, he was Vice President and General Manager of the Fairchild Semiconductor Test Systems division, a manufacturer of computer-aided semiconductor test systems. During 1994, he served as Chairman of the Board of the Semiconductor Industry Association, the premier trade association representing the U.S. microchip industry. Mr. Ross also served on the Board of Sematech as well as the Telecommunications Industry Association.
