Pergo is a flooring Company with prominent market positions in North America and selected European countries. The Company provides high quality laminate flooring, with distinctive designs and unique product properties, for both home and commercial environments. In addition to its successful laminate products, Pergo introduced a premium hardwood product into the US market beginning in 2004 and will introduce a similar hardwood product in Europe 2007. In North America, sales mainly target the residential consumer market. Products are primarily brought to market through the home improvement channels and more than 5,000 independent specialty retailers. In Europe, the products are sold to consumers, the professional market and for commercial environments. The main sales channels are flooring and paint stores, wholesalers and various home improvement chains. Pergo's products are primarily produced in its four facilities. A laminate flooring plant and a molding plant are located in Garner, North Carolina, USA. Separate laminate flooring operations are also located in Trelleborg and Perstorp, Sweden. PERGO is one of the world's most recognised and trusted flooring brands. Pergo's innovations are protected by almost 500 patents and pending patent applications throughout the world.
