Pericom Semiconductor Corp.

CEO, Chairman of the Board Alex Chi-Ming Hui has been Chief Executive Officer, President and a member of the Board of Directors of the Company since its inception in June 1990. From August 1982 to May 1990, Mr. Hui was employed by LSI Logic Corporation, most recently as Director of Advanced Development. From August 1980 to July 1982, Mr. Hui was a member of the technical staff of Hewlett-Packard Company. Mr. Hui holds a B.S.E.E. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.S.E.E. from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Angela Chen is Pericom's VP of Finance, CFO as of April 6, 2006. Previously, Angela held the role of CFO and VP of Finance, Administration & IT of PTI, Pericom's sister company in Asia, since May 2002 and she has been instrumental in driving PTI's growth and return to profitability. Ms. Chen has been VP Finance, Asia for Pericom overseeing the financial activities of the Company's Asian operations including Pericom Taiwan Ltd, eCERA, and PTI, since August 2005. Prior to joining Pericom in 2002, Angela was Chief Operating Officer and VP, Finance, Administrations & Operations of Feiya Technology Corporation from 2001 to 2002, and was CFO and VP, Finance, Administration and IT with terminal manufacturer Wyse Technology Taiwan Ltd. from 1996 through 2001. Angela received her MBA with a major in Accounting from National Taiwan University, and her BA with a major in Accounting from Soochow University in Taiwan.

Dr. Gerry (Shao-Hung) Liu joined Pericom in May 2007 as Senior Vice President of Marketing. At VIA/S3 Graphics he served as the Vice President of Marketing and Chief Financial Officer, representing VIA management as VIA Technologies acquired and restructured S3 Graphics in 2000. Prior to joining VIA in 2000, Dr. Liu endeavored as Division President of Video Graphics at Trident Microsystems after serving as corporate Sr. Vice President of Marketing. He was President and Founder of Knights Technology which was acquired by Electroglas, as well as Omega Micro which was later acquired by Trident Technologies. Dr. Liu has served as Director on multiple technology association boards and has been the recipient of the National Friendship Award by the China State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs for his long-term contribution to its technology industry. Additionally, he received an Outstanding Alumni Award from the University of Illinois where he received his M.S.C.S. Dr. Liu also holds a B.S.E.E. from National Taiwan University and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.

George Kao joined Pericom as Vice President of Operations in October 2006. Mr. Kao has over twenty years experience working in the global technology industry. He began his career at National Semiconductor in 1984 in the Bipolar logic group before moving to Weitek and Integrated Circuit System in a Product/Test Engineering Management capacity. After that, Mr. Kao served in various senior positions at Synaptics, Altima (later sold to Broadcom in 2000) and Foveon, where he headed up the manufacturing team for imaging products and integrated circuits before joining Orient Semiconductor Electronics Philippines (OSEP) in 2003 as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Kao holds a BSEE form California State Polytechnic University.

HL Hong joined Pericom in June 1993 as Product Engineering Manager and was promoted to Vice President of Product and Application Engineering in February 2005. Mr. Hong was employed by Synergy Semiconductor Corporation as a Senior Product Engineer from January 1991 to June 1993. Prior to Synergy, Mr. Hong was employed by Digital Equipment Corporation as a Principal Engineer ('89 – '91). Mr. Hong also held various product management positions with Signetic Inc. ('86 – '89), Fairchild Puyallup ('84 – '86), Intersil Singapore ('79 – '84) and Fairchild Singapore ('77 – '79). Mr. Hong holds a B. Eng. First Class Honor from University of Singapore.

Michael Chen joined Pericom in October, 2000 as Vice President of ASIC Engineering & General Manager of PTL (Pericom Taiwan Limited). Prior to Pericom, Mr. Chen served at Lattice Semiconductor Corporation as Department Manager of FPGA where Mr. Chen was in charge of FPGA & CPLD product development. He endeavored successfully to target SOC IP & ASIC verification at start-up ventures such as LogicVision (LGVN: NSDQ), CrossCheck, and Aimfast. As Engineering Manger at Cadence (CDN: NYSE), he was in charge of simulators, timing analysis and synthesis tools. He serves as Guest Professor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Mr. Chen received his MS in Electric Engineering from Penn State University.

Nial Van Wagner joined Pericom as Director of Western Region Sales in April 2002. After five years of demonstrated success in growing sales at Pericom he was promoted to Senior Director of Sales for North America and Europe and subsequently named Vice President of Sales for North America and Europe in May 2008. Mr. Van Wagner has over 20 years experience in sales for the semiconductor industry. He came to Pericom from Agere Systems, where he had served in a varied array of Sales positions over 16 years such as Distribution Sales Manager, HP Global Account Manager, Western Multimedia Sales Manager, and Sun Global Account Manager. Mr. Van Wagner holds a BA in Rhetoric from the University of California at Berkeley.

Tat C. Choi, Ph.D., joined the Company in April 1998 as Vice President, Design Engineering. From September 1996 to March 1998, Dr. Choi was employed by Anacor, Inc., an engineering design service consulting firm that he founded. Prior to Anacor, Dr. Choi was employed by Chrontel, Inc. most recently as its Vice President, Engineering from September 1989 to August 1996. Dr. Choi was employed by Advanced Micro Devices from February 1983 to August 1989 as a Senior Member of Technical Staff. Dr. Choi holds a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Ph.D. in EECS from the University of California at Berkeley.

Wilfred Ling joined Pericom in December 2003 as Vice President of Asia Sales. Mr. Ling started his career since 1980. He was employed by C&K System as Engineering Manager specializing residential and commercial security system design and manufacturing. He also served National Semiconductor as Regional Marketing Manager for Asia and Chief Representative for Shanghai office. His recent position before joining Pericom was Asia Sales Director for Ericsson Microelectronic. Mr. Ling holds a Higher Diploma of Electronic Engineering from HK Polytechnic University, BBA Degree and MSc Marketing from HK Chinese University and MSc in Finance from University of London.

Chi-Hung (John) Hui, Ph.D., has been Vice President, Technology and a member of the Board of Directors of the Company since its inception in June 1990. From August 1987 to June 1990, Dr. Hui was employed by Integrated Device Technology, most recently as Manager of its Research and Development Department. From August 1984 to August 1987, Dr. Hui was a member of the technical staff of Hewlett-Packard Company. Dr. Hui holds a B.S.E.E. from Cornell University and an M.S.E.E. and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.

Mr. Edward Yang retired from Hewlett Packard Company in October 2005 as Chief Technology Officer of Personal Systems Group. During his over 25 years of services with Hewlett Packard Company, Ed served as R&D Engineer, R&D Manager, General Manager and Chief Technology Officer for Personal Systems Group and Computer Systems Organizations. Mr. Yang holds a B.S.E.E. Degree from National Cheng-Kung University in Taiwan, M.S.E.E. Degree from Oregon State University and he has completed the Stanford Executive Program.

Gary L. Fischer has been a member of the Board of Directors since May 2005. Mr. Fischer is employed by ISSI, a fabless public company focusing on high performance memory ICs, where he is President, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Fischer joined ISSI in 1993 as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and was Executive Vice President from 1995 until 2001. Mr. Fischer is also a member of the Board of Directors of ISSI. Prior to joining ISSI, Mr. Fischer was Chief Financial Officer of Synergy Semiconductor Corporation, a manufacturer of high-performance SRAM and logic integrated circuits. Mr. Fischer also currently serves on the Board of Directors of ESS Technology. Mr. Fischer has also held positions as VP, Finance/Chief Financial Officer of Shahman, Chief Financial Officer of Magnesys and Chief Financial Officer of Solo Systems Inc. Mr. Fischer holds an MBA degree from the University of Santa Clara and a BA degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
