Doug has been a member of RAW since 1998. When not running, he works as a project manager for Perot Systems. He started running about that time mostly due to sibling rivalry since he couldn't bear that his brother Alan was planning to run a marathon while he'd be lucky to run one mile. He's run a couple of marathons and one ultra since, but prefers the considerably more sane distance of half marathons. Doug lives in Grapevine with his wife, Courtney, and their young son, Scott. He has been keeping the membership database updated for 3 years, mailing out new member and renewal letters as well as the Footprint, and also volunteers frequently at RAW events. He can normally be found at the clubhouse on whichever weekend day Courtney is watching Scott.
