In an industry where taking chances is encouraged, Mark DiMassimo, creative director of DiMassimo, leads by example. In the midst of a stable career working for a series of top direct and integrated Madison Avenue agencies, Mark ate some bad pizza and woke up with an epiphany: "I'd rather sweep the floors in a great place then rule a mediocre place!" This thought led him to take a chance and seek work at a promising agency he'd read about in the press. The agency was K&B, and within a year, Mark rose to creative director. In 1996, Mark founded his own agency with a mission to "inspire greatness" to build a great brand and business on helping others build great brands and businesses. He cares passionately about great communication, ideas, entrepreneurship and innovation, and has been a pioneer in integrating brand communications, buzz marketing, brand advocacy, interactive viral marketing, brand story-telling, direct response and branded entertainment for a range of clients including Crunch Fitness, Pfizer, The Hard Rock Hotel, HBO, Timex, and American Business Media.
