Mr. Turner is president and chief executive officer of the Company and the Bank. Mr. Turner is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology where he received his bachelor's degree in Industrial Management in 1976. Following his graduation, Mr. Turner worked for Arthur Andersen & Company as a consultant in Atlanta, Georgia, and joined one of his clients, Park National Bank, Knoxville, Tennessee in 1979 where he held various management positions, including senior vice president of that bank's commercial division. In 1985, Mr. Turner joined First American National Bank, Nashville, Tennessee, as a result of its acquisition of Park National Bank. Mr. Turner served from January 1994 until November 1998 as President of the Retail Bank of First American National Bank. From November 1998 until October 1999, he served as President of the Investment Services Group of First American Corporation. Mr. Turner's banking career at First American in Nashville covered 14 years, and entailed executive level responsibilities for almost all aspects of its banking and investment operations.
During Mr. Turner's tenure in Nashville, he has served as chairman of the board of the Nashville Sports Council, chairman of the board of trustees for Brentwood Academy, advisory board chairman for the Salvation Army, vice chairman for the Southern Baptist Foundation, member of the board of trustees of Belmont University, member of the executive committee of the Nashville Credit Bureau and a member of the board of governors of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Turner continues to serve on the board of the Nashville branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Belmont University, Nashville Sports Council and the board of the Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl, is an active member in the World President's Organization and is also a member of numerous local clubs and organizations including Leadership Nashville.
Nathan Hunter is leading all of Pinnacle's efforts in the Knoxville market as Pinnacle Knoxville's president. With more than 30 years of financial services expertise, he was most recently an executive vice president at SunTrust Bank, overseeing the retail line of business in the East Tennessee region since 2001.
Prior to that, he was commercial and corporate banking department head for SunTrust for 12 years, following three years as a commercial relationship manager.
Hunter launched his career with the Tennessee Department of Banking, where he had oversight for safety and soundness examinations for banks in the Upper East Tennessee region.
Hunter is a member of the executive committee of the board of Mercy Health Partners and a board member for IJAMS Nature Center. A member and deacon at Central Baptist Church of Bearden, he has served in leadership roles with the Chamber of Commerce, United Way, Junior Achievement, Boy Scouts, Exchange Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the UT Quarterback Club.
Hunter is a graduate of the University of Tennessee in banking and finance. His post-graduate studies include LSU School of Banking of the South and the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business.
Harold Carpenter serves as chief financial officer and a member of Pinnacle's leadership team. Carpenter was previously lead financial manager for First American Corporation's Tennessee, Mississippi and Louisiana operations, responsible for managing $11 billion in earnings assets with an annual expense burden of $260 million. Carpenter joined First American in 1998 during its merger with Jackson, Miss.-based Deposit Guaranty Corporation, where he had served for three years as chief financial manager of the company's business units. His previous experience includes work in Shreveport, La. for Commerce National Corporation as controller and KPMG Peat Marwick as senior manager. Carpenter holds a bachelor's degree and a master's of business administration in accounting from Louisiana Tech University.
Hugh Queener brings more than 29 years of experience to his role as chief administrative officer of Pinnacle.
Before joining Pinnacle, he spent 13 years at First American National Bank/AmSouth in a variety of positions including auditor, senior vice president of operations support, executive vice president of general banking, executive vice president of operations and technology and executive vice president of consumer programs.
Prior to rejoining First American, Queener worked with Kirchman Corporation installing and supporting community and mid size bank software throughout North America.
He has been involved in the Brentwood Rotary Club as a member, the Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity as a finance committee member, the YMCA as a program coordinator, the Boy Scouts of America as a Cub Master and troop leader and on the executive board of the Middle Tennessee Council. He serves on the Board of Southeast Community Capital in Nashville where he is also on the Financial Oversight Committee.
Queener holds a bachelor's degree from Tennessee Wesleyan College.
Rachel West brings over 30 years of human resources experience to her role as chief people officer for Pinnacle Financial Partners.
West is responsible for introducing new associates to Pinnacle's client-centric culture, ensuring Pinnacle's compensation and benefits are fair and aligned with the firm's goal of being the best place to work in Tennessee and overseeing Pinnacle's feedback programs such as an annual work environment survey and the firm's ongoing client survey process.
She came to Pinnacle from Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick, Ga., where she has served as vice president of human resources. Previously she served as vice president and assistant vice president of human resources at Baptist Hospital in Nashville for 13 years.
Charlie McMahan is a seasoned veteran in the banking industry, bringing more than 28 years of experience to his role as executive vice president and senior credit officer.
During his career, he has served in a variety of roles with First American/AmSouth Bank, including president and chief executive officer of the company's asset-based lending subsidiary, First American Commercial Finance, Inc. He has spent his entire career in commercial lending, with over half of that time as senior credit officer for First American, where he had oversight responsibilities for more than $10 billion in loan assets including commercial, real estate and the full range of consumer loans, from credit cards to private banking
McMahan holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Lipscomb University and a master's in business administration from the Owen School of Business at Vanderbilt University.
He is a certified public accountant (CPA).
In his role as Knoxville executive vice president, Mike DiStefano leads Pinnacle's client advisory group, which serves Knoxville's owner-managed businesses and affluent consumers.
DiStefano has more than 23 years of financial services experience. He has been in the Knoxville financial services market for 18 years, previously managing the commercial banking programs for SunTrust Bank.
He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and the Graduate School of Banking of the South at Louisiana State University. He is active in the Areawide Development Corporation and the East Tennessee Economic Council.
In his role as executive vice president and senior lending officer, Ed White is responsible for leading the client advisory group at Pinnacle, which serves Nashville's owner managed businesses and affluent consumers.
White previously served as "city president" for First American during the period of time that First American built its number one market share position. His 34 years experience in financial services has included managing sales efforts in commercial banking, retail banking and private banking in Kentucky, Mississippi and Tennessee.
White is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, Young Tennessee Bankers School and Banking School of the South. White also holds series 7 and 63 securities licenses.

M. Glenn Layne brings almost 30 years of experience to his role as senior vice president and senior credit officer.
During his career, Layne specialized in consumer and commercial lending at Commerce Union Bank, Murfreesboro Bank and Trust/Suntrust Bank and, most recently, Cavalry Banking.
A lifelong resident of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Layne is on the board of trustees for the Tennessee Bankers Association Southeastern School of Consumer Credit, the finance committee of the Belle-Aire Baptist Church and the allocation panel for the United Way of Rutherford County. He is also a member of the Murfreesboro Hot Rod Club and a former member and president of the Murfreesboro Downtown Lions Club.
Layne attended Middle Tennessee State University and is a graduate of the Tennessee School of Banking, the Tennessee Commercial Lending School at Vanderbilt University and the ABA National Consumer Credit School at the University of Oklahoma.

James Sweeney serves as senior product manager and a member of Pinnacle's leadership team. Sweeney has over 18 years of experience in banking. He spent over ten years with Cavalry Banking retail division before Cavalry became part of Pinnacle.
Actively involved in the community, Sweeney is a graduate of Leadership Middle Tennessee and Leadership Rutherford. He is a past director of the Tennessee Bankers Association Young Bankers Division, past chairman of CrimeStoppers of Rutherford County and served as the Leadership Council representative on the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce.
He has a bachelor's from Middle Tennessee State University and is a graduate of the Southeastern School of Banking, the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University and the ABA National School of Compliance.
Joanne Jackson brings 30+ years of experience to her role as executive vice president and manager of client services.
During her career, Jackson was a top performer serving as manager of First American National Bank/AmSouth's Rivergate office and small business specialist for Clarksville, Bowling Green and Nashville markets. Immediately prior to joining Pinnacle, Joanne was the Business Banking team leader for AmSouth in Nashville.
Jackson is a graduate of the Mid-South School of Banking. She is an active volunteer for the King's Daughters Day Home and Special Olympics. She is a former board member of Goodpasture Christian School and the Madison Domestic Violence Shelter.
Kim Jenny brings over 34 years of experience to his role as risk and performance management officer at Pinnacle, where he is responsible for compliance, loan review, human resources, and physical and information security.
Jenny has a wide and varied expertise in office operations, performance enhancement and risk mitigation. Most recently, he was branch performance officer for AmSouth in Birmingham. He served nearly 20 years in various branch operations and support roles with First American.
Jenny is a graduate of Midlands College in Columbia, S.C., the University of Wisconsin's banking school, and the University of Tennessee's executive development program.
R. Dale Floyd serves as senior vice president and manager of Pinnacle's Client Advisory Group in Rutherford County.
Prior to merging with Pinnacle Financial Partners, he served for almost 20 years as senior vice president and manager of Mortgage and Construction/Development at Cavalry Banking. Floyd began his career in banking as branch manager and then senior vice president of lending at First Federal Savings Bank of Tennessee. Previously, he managed Romana Industries for PCA in the Dominican Republic and was PCA plant manager in Manchester, Tenn.
Floyd is a member of the National Mortgage Bankers Association and attended both mortgage and commercial banking schools after graduating from Middle Tennessee State University. He is an active participant with Habitat for Humanity and the City of Murfreesboro Homeless Task Force Advisory Committee.
Ron Carter brings 26 years of financial services experience to his role as Rutherford/Bedford County client services manager.
Carter was most recently the retail banking executive for Regions Bank, overseeing 64 locations. He spent 13 years at First American National Bank, where he was most recently regional executive for community banking. He had responsibility for Rutherford County operations at each of these banks.
An active community member, Carter serves on the board of directors of Bethany Christian Services Inc. and the World Mission Committee at Covenant Presbyterian Church. He is a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and the YMCA. He has previously held leadership roles with United Way, the American Heart Association and Rotary Club.
Ron obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Covenant College in 1980 and graduated from the Stonier's Graduate School of Banking in 1988. Dr. Conway-Welch is the dean and holds responsibilities as the chief executive officer of the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, Nashville, Tennessee, a position she has held since 1984. Because of her international stature as a voice for the nursing profession, Dr. Conway-Welch has been previously called on to serve on President Reagan's 1988 Commission on HIV and the 1998 Congressional National Bipartisan Commission on the Future of Medicare, the 2002 Advisory Council to Secretary Thompson on Public Health Preparedness and the DHHS Center for Medicare and Medicaid's Advisory Committee for Medicare Coverage, is an elected member of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Science, and in 2007, was appointed by President Bush to the Board of Regents of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
Her professional activities include serving as a member of the board of directors of the following registered public companies; Ardent Health Systems, Caremark RX, Inc. and RehabCare Group. Formerly, she served on the board of directors of First Union Bank of Tennessee.
In her community role, she has served on and chaired the Board of Directors for the Nashville Symphony, chaired the "Report Card" Committee on Nashville Schools for the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Nashville Downtown Rotary. She also chaired the Middle Tennessee United Way annual campaign in 1999.
erry Hampton brings over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry to his role at Pinnacle.
Formerly commercial relationship manager with First American National Bank/AmSouth, Hampton specializes in commercial lending with an emphasis in the trucking industry and commercial/residential real estate. During his tenure with First American, Hampton served in numerous roles including credit analyst, manager of the management trainee program, commercial real estate division manager and special assets manager.

Mr. Jackson is Senior Vice President, Regional Agency Manager, Tennessee for BB&T - Cooper, Love, Jackson, Thornton & Howell. Mr. Jackson is a native of Nashville and began his insurance career with Cooper, Love and Jackson in 1976. Prior to the 2003 merger with BB&T, he was the president and a principal of Cooper, Love & Jackson, Inc. and had served in this capacity since 1989. Mr. Major is a veteran Middle Tennessee banker with extensive experience in the Wilson County market. He was Bank of the South chairman and CEO and president of Mid-America Bancshares when the companies merged with Pinnacle.
He joined Bank of the South in 2000 as president and CEO and became chairman and CEO in April 2004. Mr. Major became president of Mid-America Bancshares in September 2006.
His prior experience includes serving as regional president for Memphis-based National Bank of Commerce for a year; as chairman, president and CEO of First Financial Corporation in Mt. Juliet from 1988-1999; president and CEO of First Southern Bank in Mt. Juliet from 1984-1988 and White County Bank in Sparta from 1982-1984. Mr. Major was with the Lebanon Bank from 1976-1982.
Mr. Major has held leadership positions with the Tennessee Bankers Association and American Bankers Association. He has served as president of the West Wilson Chamber of Commerce and on the board of directors of several financial services institutions, including Plateau Inc., First Bank & Trust, First Financial Corporate, Northern of Tennessee Corp., Bedford County Bank, First Southern Bank of Rutherford County, First Southern Bank and White County Bank.
Mr. Major holds a bachelor's degree from Middle Tennessee State University. He has attended the T.B.A. School of Banking, the School of Banking of the South and FDIC Trust Schools.
Mr. Loughry is the Vice-Chairman of the Company, a position he has held since March 15, 2006, following the merger between the Company and Cavalry. Mr. Loughry joined Cavalry Banking in 1968 and served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cavalry Banking from 1982 until its merger with Pinnacle National Bank. He also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cavalry from its inception in 1998 until its merger with the Company. Mr. Loughry has served on the boards of directors of the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, United Way, Heart Fund, Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati, the Nashville branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta board, the American Bankers Association board and the ABA Bank Pac board. He is past Chairman of the Tennessee Bankers Association. He is also currently serving on the Middle Tennessee Medical Center board and the Christy-Houston Foundation. He was selected Business Person of the Year in 1993 and Business Legend in 2000 by the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Loughry served as a director of Cavalry Banking from 1982 to 2006 and Cavalry from 1998 to 2006. He was the Chairman of Cavalry's Board from 1999 to 2006.
Mr. Scott, former chairman and CEO of Mid-America Bancshares and PrimeTrust Bank, has more than 30 years of financial services experience. Prior to starting PrimeTrust Bank in 2001, Mr. Scott served as a senior vice president at First American National Bank. Mr. Scott started his career in the Management Training program at Third National Bank and then moved to Cheatham State Bank in 1973, initially as executive vice president and then as chairman, president and CEO from 1986-1998. While at Cheatham State Bank, he attended both the Tennessee School of Banking at Vanderbilt University and the Graduate School of Banking of the South at LSU. He earned a bachelor's degree from Austin Peay University in 1971.
Mr. Scott has held numerous leadership positions with the American Bankers Association and the Tennessee Bankers Association. He received the Tennessee Bankers Association "Leader in Banking Excellence" award in 2007.
He has also served in many community and business leadership roles, including director for CSB Financial Corporation, Plateau Group Inc., Plateau Insurance Company and Delta Dental Plan of Tennessee.

Mr. Bone comes to Pinnacle's board after serving on the board of Mid-America Bancshares since September 2006, and the subsidiary board at Bank of the South since 2001. A native of Lebanon, Tennessee, Bone is a partner and licensed general contractor of B&B Enterprise. He served as a vice president of a large Tennessee bank for a number of years and also served as a director of First Bank & Trust in Mt. Juliet until its merger with a large regional bank in 1999.
Mr. Bone is president of C.P.C. Inc., a not-for-profit corporation focusing on healthcare and education, and serves on the board of both the Breakfast Rotary Club and the Youth Emergency Shelter of Middle Tennessee.
Mr. Cope is a member in the law firm of Cope, Hudson, Scarlett, Reed & McCreary PLLC in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and has practiced law continuously in Murfreesboro, Tennessee since 1976. Mr. Cope is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Vanderbilt University in 1974. Mr. Cope serves as attorney for Rutherford County, Tennessee, the Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation, the Consolidated Utility District of Rutherford County, the Murfreesboro Housing Authority, the Smyrna/Rutherford County Airport Authority and otherwise engages in a general practice of civil law. He is admitted to practice before the Sixth Circuit and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Federal Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States of America. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Tennessee Bar Association. He has served as a hearing officer appointed by the Supreme Court of the State of Tennessee for the Board of Professional Responsibility (1988-1993).He is past President of the Middle Tennessee State University Foundation and the Murfreesboro Rotary Club. He also served on the board and was an initial class member of Leadership Rutherford. In addition, he also served on the board of the YMCA of Rutherford County and participates in the Salvation Army Christian Legal Clinic.
Prior to our acquisition of Cavalry Bancorp, Inc. ("Cavalry") on March 15, 2006, Mr. Cope served as a director of Cavalry's subsidiary, Cavalry Banking, from 1992 and as a director of Cavalry from 1998.

Dr. Riley is president and CEO of Meharry Medical College. He was previously vice president and vice dean for health affairs and governmental relations and associate professor of medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and an adjunct professor of management at Rice University's Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management, both in Houston. At Houston's Ben Taub General Hospital, Baylor's primary public hospital teaching affiliate, he was assistant chief of medicine and a practicing academic general internist and a resident alumnus of Baylor's highly regarded internal medicine residency training program.
Dr. Riley is actively involved in several community service organizations. He serves on the board of directors of the Nashville Symphony Association, the Cheekwood Botanical Museum, the Middle Tennessee Council Boy Scouts of America, United Way of Metropolitan Nashville and the Tennessee Institute of Public Health.
Dr. Riley holds a bachelor's degree from Yale University, a Master of Public Health degree in health systems management from Tulane University and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta. He is a graduate of the MBA for executives program at Rice University's Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management.
Mr. Huddleston, a professional engineer and registered land surveyor licensed in the State of Tennessee, has been the President of Huddleston-Steele Engineering, Inc., in Murfreesboro, Tennessee since 1994. Mr. Huddleston currently serves on the Middle Tennessee Medical Center Board of Directors, City of Murfreesboro Construction Board of Adjustments and Appeals and the Webb School Board of Trustees, and was formerly a member of the First United Methodist Church Finance and Special Gifts Committee. He is also a member of the Middle Tennessee State University Foundation Board of Trustees.
Prior to our acquisition of Cavalry on March 15, 2006, Mr. Huddleston had served as a director of Cavalry and Cavalry Banking since 1999.
