Mr. Goyanes has served as a director of our general partner or former general partner since May 1999. Mr. Goyanes has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Liberty Energy Holdings, LLC (an energy investment firm) since May 2000. From 1999 to May 2000, he was a financial consultant specializing in natural resources. From 1989 to 1999, he was Managing Director of the Natural Resources Group of ING Barings Furman Selz (a banking firm). He was a financial consultant from 1987 to 1989 and was Vice President-Finance of Forest Oil Corporation from 1983 to 1987. From 1969 to 1982 Mr. Goyanes served in various financial and management capacities at Chase Bank, where his major emphasis was international and corporate finance to large independent and major oil companies. Mr. Goyanes received a BA in Economics from Cornell University and a Masters degree in Finance (honors) from Babson Institute.

Arthur L. Smith has served as a director of our general partner or former general partner since February 1999. Mr. Smith is President and Managing Member of Triple Double Advisors, LLC, an investment advisory firm focused on the energy industry. Mr. Smith was Chairman and CEO of John S. Herold, Inc. (a petroleum research and consulting firm) from 1984 to 2007. From 1976 to 1984, Mr. Smith was a securities analyst with Argus Research Corp., The First Boston Corporation and Oppenheimer & Co., Inc. Mr. Smith holds the CFA designation. He serves on the board of non-profit Dress for Success Houston and the Board of Visitors for the Nicholas School of the Environment and Earth Sciences at Duke University. He is a director of Pioneer Natural Resources GP LLC, the general partner of Pioneer Southwest Energy Partners, L.P. Mr. Smith received a BA from Duke University and an MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business.

Dave has been with PAA or its predecessors since 1984 and is responsible for managing our commercial operations in Canada. Dave and his group are also responsible for maintaining relationships with our Canadian and LPG customers.

Harry N. Pefanis President and COO Harry has been with PAA or its predecessors since 1983 and is responsible for executing our strategy, overseeing our day-to-day operations, coordinating the many disciplines within our organization and identifying areas for future expansion.

David Craig has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of PMC (Nova Scotia) Company since June 2008. Prior to joining our Canadian operations, Mr. Craig was with Nexen Inc. from 2004 to June 2008, where he served in various capacities, including most recently as Vice President of natural gas marketing. From 1999 until 2004, he was with Apache Canada Ltd., with responsibilities in the areas of gas marketing and finance. Mr. Craig has over 25 years of experience in the energy industry in various financial roles (including accounting, planning, treasury, and mergers & acquisitions) as well as natural gas marketing.

Tina L. Val Vice President, Accounting & Chief Accounting Officer Tina has been with PAA or its predecessors for a total of nine years and has primary responsibility for all aspects of our accounting, from maintaining the books and records of the partnership to reporting our results to the financial community.

Phil has been with PAA or its predecessors since 1983 and has served in a number of roles within the partnership including Chief Financial Officer for PAA or its predecessor from 1992 until November 2008. Phil has responsibility for our lease gathering business and related support functions, procurement, human resources and office services.

Alfred A. Lindseth Senior Vice President, Technology, Process & Risk Management Al joined us in 2000 from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he specialized in risk management and arbitrage analysis. Al has primary responsibility for the design and functionality of our risk management policies and procedures, information systems and business processes.

John von Berg Senior Vice President, Commercial Activities John joined us in 2002 from Genesis Energy Partners where he was Chief Executive Officer. John is responsible for developing and executing commercial strategies designed to maintain the counter-cyclical balance of our asset base and enhance our margins.

Mark J. Gorman Senior Vice President, Operations & Business Development Mark joined PAA in 2006 from Genesis Energy where he served in various capacities including Director, EVP, COO, President and CEO. At PAA, Mark is responsible for the majority of our domestic business operations as well as the commercial operations of our pipeline business development group.

Charles Kingswell-Smith Vice President, Treasurer Chuck joined PAA in 2008 from GE Energy Finance. Chuck has over 25 years of experience in the energy banking business principally with JPMorgan Chase. At PAA, Chuck is responsible for coordination of our banking transactions and lending arrangements, customer credit functions, financial planning activities, insurance risk management and foreign exchange and interest rate management activities.

David E. Wright Vice President David joined PAA in 2006 from Pacific Energy Partners. Dave is currently involved in the development of a major deep water petroleum marine terminal project on Pier 400, Berth 408, in the Port of Los Angeles, which upon completion will enable the import of up to 25% of the petroleum needs of the Los Angeles area.

James B. Fryfogle Vice President, Refinery Supply Jim joined us in 2004 from Marathon Ashland Petroleum and has over 29 years of experience in the crude oil industry. Jim is responsible for managing our lease acquisition and crude oil marketing group.

Jim G. Hester Vice President, Acquisitions Jim has been with PAA or its predecessors since 1988 and is responsible for our acquisition and business development activities, including the identification, analysis, due diligence and integration of target assets or companies.

John F. Russell Vice President, West Coast Projects John joined us in 2004 from ExxonMobil Pipeline Company and has over 30 years of experience in the pipeline industry. John is responsible for managing our regulated and non-regulated pipeline activities.

John R. Keffer Vice President, Terminals John has been with PAA since 1998 and has 25 years of experience in the energy industry. John's primary responsibilities are managing the commercial operations in our crude and products terminals.

Lawrence J. Dreyfuss Vice President, General Counsel - Commercial and Litigation & Assistant Secretary Larry has been with PAA or its predecessors since 1981. Mike Mikuska has served as Vice President, Business Development of PMC (Nova Scotia) Company since September 2008. Mr. Mikuska has been with PMC and its predecessor CANPET Energy Group Inc. since 1995 and has served in various commercial and development roles over that time.

A. Patrick Diamond Vice President Pat joined us in 1999 from the Energy Investment Banking Division of Salomon Smith Barney where he was heavily involved in our 1998 IPO. Pat devotes the majority of his time to partnership strategy and finance issues, assisting in our business development activities and overseeing our equity capital markets activities.

Robert M. Sanford Vice President, Lease Supply Robert joined PAA in 2004 from Link Energy Where he was involved in Link's North American crude oil and pipeline operations. Robert devotes his time to managing the commercial operations of our lease marketing, trucking and marine transportation activities.

Roger D. Everett Vice President, Human Resources Roger joined PAA in 2006 from Stone Partners where he was a principal. He has responsibility for human resource management and devotes his time to recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, employment law, ethics and regulatory compliance, employee development, human resource communications and payroll administration.

Sandi Wingert has served as Vice President, Accounting of PMC (Nova Scotia) Company since February 2008. She has been with PMC and its predecessor CANPET Energy Group Inc. for eight years acting as Controller. Prior to joining our Canadian operations, Sandi held various accounting roles with Koch Petroleum and Ernst & Young.

Troy E. Valenzuela Vice President, Environmental, Health & Safety Troy has been with PAA or its predecessors since 1983 and has primary responsibility for the development, implementation and management of our environmental, safety and regulatory compliance initiatives in the areas of air, water, waste, site assessment and clean-up, emergency preparedness, security and employee training.

Mr. Petersen has served as a director since June 2001. Mr. Petersen is Senior Managing Director of EnCap Investments L.L.C. (an investment management firm), which he co-founded in 1988. He had previously served as Senior Vice President and Manager of the Corporate Finance Division of the Energy Banking Group for RepublicBank Corporation. Prior to his position at RepublicBank, he was Executive Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors of Nicklos Oil & Gas Company in Houston, Texas, from 1979 to 1984. He served from 1970 to 1971 in the U.S. Army as a First Lieutenant in the Finance Corps and as an Army Officer in the Army Security Agency. He is also a director of EV Energy Partners, L.P. Mr. Petersen holds MBA and BBA degrees from Texas Tech University.

Michael C. McManus Director, Internal Audit Mike joined PAA in 2004 from T-3 Energy Services and has over 10 years of audit experience. Mike is responsible for the development and execution of audits of the partnership’s operations and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance efforts.

Anne Goldsmith is a Financial Accounting manager for Plains All American Pipeline, L.P. and has been with Plains or their predecessors for 18 years. Her accounting degree is from Texas A&M. Anne lives in an 80-year-old

J. Taft Symonds has served as a director of our general partner since June 2001. Mr. Symonds is Chairman of the Board of Symonds Trust Co. Ltd. (a private investment firm). From 1978 to 2004 he was Chairman of the Board and Chief Financial Officer of Maurice Pincoffs Company, Inc. (an international marketing firm). Mr. Symonds has a background in both investment and commercial banking, including merchant banking in New York, London and Hong Kong with Paine Webber, Robert Fleming Group and Banque de la Societe Financiere Europeenne. He is Chairman of the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center and serves as a director of Howard Supply Company LLC and Schilling Robotics LLC. Mr. Symonds received a BA from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard.
