PLX Technology Inc.

Art Whipple joined PLX Technology as Chief Financial Officer in January of 2007. Prior to PLX, he was VP of finance, CFO and secretary at Silicon Storage Technology, Inc. He was previously with QuickLogic Corp., where he served initially as its VP of finance, CFO and secretary, then as VP and GM of its logic products business unit. Prior to QuickLogic, he was VP of engineering for ILC Technology, and also as vice president of finance and operations of its subsidiary, Precision Lamp. Earlier in his career, Whipple served in financial and engineering roles at other semiconductor manufacturing companies, including Westinghouse Electric, Fairchild Semiconductor, and Monolithic Memories. He holds a bachelor's of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Washington, and a master's degree in business administration from Santa Clara University.

David Raun joined PLX Technology in November 2004 as Vice President, Marketing. From January 2002 through November 2004, he was Vice President of Marketing at Pericom Semiconductor. In 2001, Mr. Raun was Executive Vice President & General Manager at Actovate. Prior to Actovate he held several executive positions at Waferscale Integration, Inc., including Vice President of PSD & Memory Products ('97-'00), Vice President of Sales ('96-'97), and Director of Sales ('94-'96). From 1985 to 1995, Mr. Raun held other sales, sales management, and marketing positions at Waferscale and AMD. He holds a B.S.E.E. degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Hector Berardi has served as Vice President, Operations since August 2002. From April 1999 to July 2002, Mr. Berardi served as the Vice President of Operations at Ubicom, Inc., a developer of wireless network processors and software platforms. From June 1998 to April 1999, Mr. Berardi was a design and program manager for the advanced RISC core development group at ST Microelectronics, a semiconductor company. From July 1987 to May 1998, Mr. Berardi worked at National Semiconductor Corporation, a semiconductor company, where his last position was senior product engineering manager for microcontroller technologies. Mr. Berardi received an M.B.A. and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University.

Jerry Kolansky joined PLX Technology as VP of Sales in July of 2008. He worked for 25 years for Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technology in a variety of senior sales and marketing positions including VP Sales in their semiconductor group. In addition, Jerry was VP Sales for Power Integrations, President of M-Systems U.S. Sales organization, and most recently worked as Director of Sales for Cree Inc. Jerry holds a BSEE from Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn, and an MS in Management from Polytechnic Institute of NY.

Ken Murray joined PLX Technology as Vice President of Human Resources in September 2006. Prior to PLX, Mr. Murray was Vice President of Human Resources for Genesis Microchip from 2000 to 2006. In the 15 years before joining Genesis, Mr. Murray was Vice President of Human Resources at Chordiant Software, NeoMagic Corporation and Akashic Memories (formerly Domain Technology). Mr. Murray also spent 9 years in various Human Resources management and individual contributor roles at Memorex Corporation. Mr. Murray holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University and is a member of the College of Business Advisory Group.

Matt Ready joined the executive staff of PLX Technology in November of 2005 as Vice President of Sales. Previously, Mr. Ready has held numerous sales and executive sales management positions at a number of Silicon Valley based manufacturers. During the 80's he held various sales and sales management roles at VLSI Technology, while in the 90's was VP of Sales at OPTi as they became the early leader in core logic chip sets and audio IC's. From 2000-2004 he was VP of Sales at Genesis Microchip where he grew sales from 50m to over 200m+ while positioning them as the leader in LCD display IC's. Prior to joining PLX Technology Mr. Ready was VP of Sales for a Bluetooth IC start up called Zeevo that was acquired by Broadcom in the first half of 2005. Mr. Ready holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University.

D. James Guzy served as a member of our Board of Directors from June 2000 through May 2005. Since 1969, he has served as President of the Arbor Company, a limited partnership involved in the electronics and computer industry. Mr. Guzy is a director of PLX Technology, Inc., Intel Corporation, Cirrus Logic, Inc., Davis Selected Group of Mutual Funds and Alliance Capital Management Technology Fund. Mr. Guzy received a B.S. from the University of Minnesota and an M.S. from Stanford University. All directors hold office until our next annual meeting of the stockholders and until their successors have been duly elected or qualified. There are no family relationships between any of our directors or executive officers.

Mr. Smith joined the board in August 2003 bringing to Virage Logic over forty years of experience in financial management with leading technology companies. From 1963 at the onset of his career at Honeywell, Inc. Smith has held a number of executive positions in operations, finance and administration with Memorex Corporation and Control Data Corporation. In 1982, Smith joined R. R. Donnelley & Sons Company (NYSE: DNY), a leading provider of financial printing and communications as executive vice president, finance and chief financial officer. Smith went on to become president of Maxwell Graphics in 1986. In 1996, Smith joined Novellus Systems, Inc., as executive vice president, finance and administration and chief financial officer. Smith also served on the board of directors of Novellus until his retirement in 2002. Since 1990, Smith has been a member of the board of directors of Cirrus Logic, Inc. (NASDAQ: CRUS), serves on the company's compensation committee, and also serves as chairman of the audit committee. In 2003, Smith joined the board of directors of PLX Technology (NASDAQ: PLXT), a provider of high-speed connectivity equipment in the semiconductor industry and Epicor Software Corporation (NASDAQ: EPIC).

Ralph Schmitt is the Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Schmitt received his BSEE from Rutgers University and began his career as a Computer and Communications System Hardware Designer. Prior to joining Sipex, Mr. Schmitt was the VP of Sales and Marketing at Cypress where he was responsible for the transformation of the organization and strategy from a product-based to a market-based approach. Throughout his careers he has had considerable market exposure to the Asian market place as well as broad end markets including wireless, wireline, computation, consumer and industrial. Mr. Schmitt also served on the boards of Cypress subsidiaries, Silicon Light Machines and Cypress Microsystems, and on the boards of privately held companies like Azanda Networks and Stargen.

Thomas J. Riordan has served as a member of our board of directors since November 2005. Mr. Riordan previously served as a member of our board of directors from February 2003 to February 2005. Mr. Riordan is currently the chief executive officer of Exclara Inc., a fabless semiconductor company, which he joined in August 2006. From August 2000 to December 2004, Mr. Riordan was vice president of the microprocessor division of PMC-Sierra, Inc., a semiconductor company. From August 1991 to August 2000, Mr. Riordan was chief executive officer, president and a member of the board of directors of Quantum Effect Devices, Inc., a semiconductor design company. From February 1985 to June 1991, Mr. Riordan served in various design and managerial roles, most recently as director of research and development at MIPS Computer Systems, Inc., a semiconductor design company. From March 1983 to January 1985, Mr. Riordan served as a design engineer at Weitek Corporation, a semiconductor company. From October 1979 to February 1983, Mr. Riordan was a design engineer at Intel Corporation. Mr. Riordan holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from the University of Central Florida and has done post-graduate work in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University. Mr. Riordan also serves on the boards of directors of PLX Technology, Inc., a semiconductor company, and several private companies. Mr. Riordan is located in the United States.
