Devin J. Anderson joined PolyMedica in December 2002 as Associate General Counsel, was named Secretary of PolyMedica's Board of Directors in June 2003 and was promoted to Vice President in May 2004. Prior to joining PolyMedica, Mr. Anderson practiced in the Boston office of Hale and Dorr LLP (now Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP) from 1998 to 2001 and in the London, U.K. office of Brobeck Hale and Dorr from 2001 to 2002. While at Hale and Dorr, Mr. Anderson's practice included representation of public and private companies in all aspects of corporate and securities law. Prior to his tenure at Hale and Dorr, Mr. Anderson practiced corporate law at the law firm of Pierce Atwood LLP in Portland, Maine from 1996 to 1998. Mr. Anderson holds a J.D., magna cum laude, from Boston University School of Law, and a B.A., with distinction, from the University of Maine.

Edward A. Burkhardt is the CEO and President of Rail World, Inc., a rail management company which actively participates in the management of Montreal, Maine & Atlantic. He is President of San Luis Central Railroad and Chairman of Estonian Railways. He also is Chairman of Baltic Rail Services, which purchased 66% of the outstanding shares of the Estonian Railways Ltd. on August 31, 2001, and President of Rail Polska, sp.z o.o., a significant rail operator in Poland. As the founding President, Chairman and CEO of the Wisconsin Central Railroad, Mr. Burkhardt was responsible for developing WC into Americaa s most successful regional railway. Additionally, he pioneered the global participation of US companies in rail privatizations, expanding the worldwide operations of WC to Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom between 1987 and July 1999. Wisconsin Central increased its revenues fourfold during this period of Mr. Burkhardta s stewardship, and managed a highly successful IPO in 1991. Prior to establishing Wisconsin Central, Mr. Burkhardt spent 20 years in senior management positions with Chicago & North Western Railroad, serving successively as Vice President Marketing and Vice President Operations. He holds an Honors degree in Industrial Administration from Yale University. He serves as a director of two publicly traded companies, Valeant Pharmaceuticals International and PolyMedica Corporation, and is a board member of the Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway, a regional carrier serving Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.

Mr. Mahoney is the Principal of the Mahoney Group, an investment firm he founded in 2003. From 1983-2003 Mr. Mahoney was a Founder, Portfolio Manager and Chief Investment Officer of HLM Management Co., a Boston based venture capital and equities investment firm. Prior to founding HLM Mr. Mahoney was a General Partner of Cowen & Company, a Securities Analyst at Keystone Funds and a Management Consultant at Touche Ross. Mr. Mahoney currently serves as a Director of Aspect Medical Systems (ASPM: NASDAQ) and PolyMedica (PLMD: NASDAQ), several private companies, Beth Isreal-Deaconess-Needham Hospital and Blessed John XXII National Seminary. He received his BA from Boston College and his MBA from the University of Illinois.

Mr. Maupay has been a director of our company since June 1995. Prior to his retirement in 1995, Mr. Maupay was a group executive with Bristol-Myers Squibb and President of Calgon Vestal Laboratories. From 1988 to December 1994, Mr. Maupay served as President of Calgon Vestal Laboratories, then a division of Merck & Co. Mr. Maupay spent 33 years in corporate and divisional positions at Merck & Co. Mr. Maupay received a B.S. degree in Pharmacy from Temple University and an M.B.A. degree from Lehigh University. Mr. Maupay is a director of SyntheMed, Inc., PolyMedica Corporation, and Cubist Pharmaceuticals and is also a director of several private companies.
