Potlatch is a real estate investment trust that owned and managed about 1.7 million acres of timberlands located in Arkansas, Idaho, Minnesota and Wisconsin at Dec 31 2007. Through its subsidiary, Potlatch Forest Products Corporation, Co. also produces lumber and panel products and bleached pulp products, including paperboard and tissue products; as well as conducts a real estate sales and development business. The primary market for Co.'s products is the U.S., although it sells a significant amount of paperboard to countries in the Pacific Rim.
