Mr. Miller graduated from the West Virginia University School of Business in 1964. After serving as an officer in the United States Army, he joined Republic Steel Corporation in 1966. Mr. Miller served as president of Lowes, Inc., Inland Distributing and Whiteford Transportation Systems. He joined the Company in 1989 as Vice President of Corporate Planning and Marketing. He served as Group Vice President for Sales, Marketing and Distribution from 1990 to 1993. Mr. Miller was Senior Vice President for the Consumer, Industrial & Environmental and Transportation Groups of the Company from 1993 to 1995. He became Vice Chairman of the Board in 1995. Mr. Miller served as an employee of the Company until 2000, when he became an independent consultant specializing in strategic planning. Mr. Miller is a director of Prandium, Inc., and Travelmore Inc. He is a trustee of St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Suckow became a director of Doane Pet Care in November 2002 and is an adjunct professor of economics and finance at Villanova University and Widener University. Mr. Suckow is also a director of Ascent Assurance, Inc., Prandium, Inc. and Grove Worldwide, Inc.
