Precision Extrusions, LLC. is one of the oldest independent aluminum extruding companies in the United States. Founded in 1947 in Bensenville, Illinois, just a few miles southeast of O'Hare Airport, it has transformed itself into a worldwide supplier of custom parts manufactured from extruded aluminum. Our two extrusion presses, one 1100 ton and the other 2200 ton, allow us to produce shapes as wide as ten inches or as heavy as eight pounds per foot. Due to the nature of the equipment and the speed of die changes, we target repeatable monthly production runs volume runs and are also very capable of high production volume with an annual capacity in excess of 15,000,000 pounds. Difficult cross sections are a specialty at Precision Extrusions. We have gained a reputation in the industry for tackling the tough jobs that many other extruders can not run. The broad tolerances associated with Aluminum Association standards are very often reduced in half and frequently by 1/4 at Precision to achieve close fits and functional superiority of parts. From a fabrication standpoint, our equipment is as sophisticated as that of any extruder in America. At present, we have high production precision saws, punch presses, milling machines, drills and other basic manufacturing equipment.
