John F. DePodesta , 63, co-founded the Company in 1994 with Mr. Singh and serves as a director and its Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, Chief Corporate Development Officer and Secretary. Mr. DePodesta served from 1994 to 2002 as the Chairman of the Board of Iron Road Railways Incorporated ( Iron Road ), which he co-founded in 1994. He served as Senior Vice President, Law and Public Policy, of Genesis Health Ventures, Inc. from January 1996 through March 1998. Additionally, from 1994 to 1999, he served as of counsel to the law firm of Pepper Hamilton LLP, where he was previously a partner since 1979. Before joining Pepper Hamilton LLP, Mr. DePodesta served as the General Counsel of Consolidated Rail Corporation. In 2001, Bangor & Aroostook Railroad Company (BAR), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Iron Road, and in 2002 certain affiliates of BAR, entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. The BAR s plan of reorganization was confirmed in 2007. In 2001, Quebec Southern Railway Company Ltd. (QSR), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Iron Road, filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal under provisions of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act of Canada. In 2005, QSR filed a bankruptcy petition and thereafter liquidated its remaining assets. Mr. DePodesta also served on the Board of Directors of Genesis HealthCare Corporation until June 2007. Mr. DePodesta holds a BA from Harvard College and a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
David E. Hershberg founded the Company in 1994 and has been its Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors since its inception. In addition, Mr. Hershberg is President of the Company effective September 2008. From 1976 to 1994, Mr. Hershberg was the President of Satellite Transmission Systems, Inc. (“STS”), a provider of satellite ground segment systems and networks, which he founded and which became a subsidiary of California Microwave, Inc. (“CMI”), and is currently part of Narda Satellite Networks, a subsidiary of L3 Communications Corporation. From 1990 to 1994, Mr. Hershberg also served as Group President of the Satellite Communications Group of CMI, where he also had responsibility for EFData, Inc., a manufacturer of satellite communications modems, and for Viasat Technology Corp., a manufacturer of communications systems that specialized in portable and mobile satellite communications equipment. Mr. Hershberg is a director of Primus Telecommunications Group, Inc., a telecommunications company providing long distance services. Mr. Hershberg holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and an M.S. in Management Science from Stevens Institute of Technology.

Herman Fialkov, a member of the Management Committee, has been an advisor to IET since 1996. He was founder and President of General Transistor Corporation, which he merged with General Instrument Corporation in 1960. There he established the pioneering large-scale integrated circuit division, later spun off as the present Microchip Technology, Inc. Later, as Senior Vice President for Corporate Development, he was instrumental in the acquisition of Jerrold Electronics, placing General Instrument in a leadership position in the emerging cable television market. He is a General Partner of PolyVentures, a Long Island, NY venture firm, that invests in startup and early stage technology ventures. From the 1960s to the present, as a General Partner of Geiger & Fialkov LP, PolyVentures, and as President of Aleph Null Corporation, Mr. Fialkov financed and helped develop many successful companies. He was among the founding investors in Intel and Teledyne. Other successful investments include Xynetics, Inc., which was sold to General Signal, which later spun out its components as Ultratech Stepper, and Electroglas, Inc. He was a founding or early stage investor in Standard Microsystems, Microsemi Corp., EIS International, DSP Group, DSP Communications, and OPAL. He was President and later Chairman of Standard Microsystems during its early growth period. Mr. Fialkov is an engineering graduate of New York University and is a trustee of Polytechnic University. He is a director of several corporations including Globecomm Systems Inc., and Primus Telecommunications Group, Inc.
