Dow Jones Description
Promess formed as a Michigan Corporation in 1984 to provide the manufacturing industry with In-Production monitoring systems. Since that time, Promess has continued to develop a worldwide reputation supplying state of the art, "turnkey" sensing and test systems. We are a manufacturer of complete force, position, torque, optic, fluid, and air sensing and testing systems for In-Production monitoring applications. We are developing, manufacturing, and marketing our assembly and test systems worldwide. Promess provides pre-service, sensors, preamplifiers, microprocessors, software, electronics, enclosures, cabling, installation, and training services. Our objective is to offer customers complete, high quality, In-Production sensing and test systems. Since no two customer's needs are the same, we have designed systems that allow flexible solutions, even in very specialized problems. In-Production quality control monitoring versus post process sample monitoring is allowing 100% certification of every part produced. A record of every part and its quality level now becomes a standard. Liability and warranty issues are declining as we are now approaching 100% quality shipped from our manufacturing facilities in the U.S. The world must follow our quality standards if it intends to compete. Promess is moving towards the future with the expansion of all three of its manufacturing facilities. ...
