Protein Polymer Technologies Inc.

Dr. Cappello has served as Protein Polymer Technologies' Vice President for Research and Development, Chief Technical Officer, and Director, Polymer Research since 1997, and as Senior Research Director-Protein Engineering since September 1988. From 1985 to 1988, Dr. Cappello was Research Director, Molecular Design and Analysis at Syntro, where he directed efforts in molecular modeling and design of protein polymers. He is a co-inventor of the Company's protein polymer technology. From 1982 to 1985, Dr. Cappello was an American Cancer Society Fellow at the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he developed systems for bacterial and yeast expression of foreign genes and conducted postdoctoral research on the genetic characterization of cellular differentiation. Dr. Cappello holds a B.S. in Genetics from the University of California at Davis, and a Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.

Dr. Ferrari has served as Protein Polymer Technologies' Vice President for Laboratory Operations and Polymer Production since 1997, and as the Company's Senior Research Director-Genetic Engineering since 1988. Dr. Ferrari was previously the Research Director, Polymer Expression at Syntro from 1983 to 1988, where he was responsible for demonstrating technical feasibility of the protein polymer project under a grant awarded by the Office of Naval Research. He is a co-inventor of the Company's protein polymer technology. From 1980 to 1983, Dr. Ferrari was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation, where he worked on the development of novel plasmid DNA vectors for the introduction and expression of foreign genes in Bacillus. Prior to that, Dr. Ferrari was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Pavia, Italy. He received his Ph.D., cum laude, from the Institute of Genetics at the University of Pavia, Italy.

Dr. Kuhn has served as a Director of the Company since April 2000. Dr. Kuhn is currently a partner and board-certified practicing physician at the Omega Obstetrics and Gynecologic Center in Coral Springs, Florida. Dr. Kuhn also serves as an adjunct professor in biology at the Nova University Department of Science, Math, and Technology.

Ms. Davis has been the Corporate Secretary since January 2007. She has been a Director of R.I. Heller & Co., LLC ("Heller") since 2003. In addition to her duties as Secretary Ms. Davis manages certain of the Company's human resources, public and shareholder relations activities. Prior to joining Heller, Ms. Davis held various management positions with a variety of companies, most notably, she was vice president of communications and public relations for ANC Rental Corporation the former parent company of the Alamo and National car rental companies.

Ms. Pobuda has served as Protein Polymer Technologies' Director, Quality Systems, since September 1999 and assumed regulatory affairs responsibilities in January 2001. Previously, she was Vice President of Regulatory Affairs/Quality Assurance at Helix Medical, Inc. Beginning her career at Shiley, Inc., Mrs. Pobuda has almost 25 years experience in regulatory affairs and quality systems support for the development and international commercialization of a wide variety of medical products, including implantable devices, drugs, biologics, and diagnostics.
