Jaime is a Chartered Accountant with 15 years experience in both professional practice and commerce, bringing with him a wealth of experience in cash flow management and business analysis for fast-growing companies. He was formerly a manager with Grant Thornton's business advisory division, and has been Financial Controller for companies in the IT, automotive, and most recently clothing industries. Jaime is responsible for the company's financial planning, management and compliance, with a particular aim of integrating financial discipline and commercial focus into the company's research activities.

Lisa joined Proteome Systems in early 2002 as Head of Business and Legal Affairs, was appointed company secretary and is now Chief Operating Officer. She was formerly a senior associate in the corporate and commercial practice of Allen Allen & Hemsley (now Allens Arthur Robinson). Lisa served as international legal counsel at Pirelli Spa, one of Italy's largest listed companies. She also spent two years as an associate in the Rome office of a national Italian law firm working on cross-border mergers and acquisitions and international technology development alliances throughout Europe.

Dr Arthur Emmett, MB BS, is a non-executive director of Proteome Systems. He brings over 30 years of experience in drug development for pharmaceutical companies in the US, Asia and Europe with particular recent experience in the emerging Chinese market. Dr Emmett has over 30 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He spent several years as Medical Director of the Australian affiliates of G.D. Searle, Parke Davis and W.S. Merrell. Dr Emmett then joined Ciba Geigy (now Novartis) where his roles included Region Head for North America, UK and the Nordic area and Head of Worldwide Medical Affairs based in Switzerland and subsequently Senior Vice President, Medical & Public Affairs in the United States.

Robert Bondaryk, Ph.D., Senior Vice President and General Manager, Cogenics Dr. Bondaryk joins us from Proteome Systems, Inc. where he was Executive Vice President, General Manager and Business Development US, managing the US division of the Sydney, Australia-based biotechnology company developing small-molecule enzyme mimetics as therapeutics for a range of indications. Previously, Bob served as Vice President, Life Science and Drug Discovery at Fisher Scientific, LLC.; Vice President, Corporate Development at IGP, Inc.; Vice President of Corporate Development and Group Coordinator, New Venture Development at Pharm-Eco Laboratories; Co-founder and President of Medtech Capital, Inc.; Vice-President, Boston Capital Group; and Senior Biotechnology Consultant at Arthur D. Little, Inc. He also served on the Board of Directors of Union Biometrica, and currently serves on the Corporation of Boston Biomedical Research Institute. Bob graduated from Bowdoin College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Psychology. He obtained his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Harvard University.

John Martin has worked with the founders of Proteome Systems Ltd (PSL), an Australian biotechnology business since 1997 and advised them in relation to the establishment and early business development of the Company. He joined the Board of PSL in 2000 and, in 2001 he joined as a full time executive when he was appointed Deputy CEO with particular responsibility for corporate and commercial development. Prior to joining PSL John spent 15 years as a corporate lawyer in Sydney and New York, and is a former partner of the corporate practice of Allen Allen & Hemsley (now Allens Arthur Robinson).

Phillip was appointed to the Board in May 2004. Phillip is a chartered accountant and senior financial executive with over 25 years experience in multi-national companies in finance, corporate, divisional and operational roles. He is the retiring chief financial officer of James Hardie Industries, where he has served for more than 20 years. Previously, Phillip had financial roles with Burns Philp and Pfizer Corporation.
